[ModNote: Continued from Dawn Drink.] *After leaving the Craized Heffer Pyron arrives back in the marketplace after a short walk. The street traders have started trying to sell there goods. Pyron strolls past to stalls glancing at the items on sale. As nothing appears to be of interest to Pyron he heads off towards the shops. Outside one of the shops a notice grabs Pyrons attention. ("Staff Wanted").* *Pyron thinks to himself* "Hmmm a chance to earn some money. Well most jobs are good jobs. Money doesn't yet grow on trees so I may as well try and earn it an honest way." *Pyron enters the shop*

*Catherine appears with several books in her hands. She looks to the customer and smiles. She places the books on the counter for now and turns her complete attention to him.*
Good day good sir. How can I help you on this fine morning?
*She then picks up the books walking over to a large dark ebony book shelf begins placing them where they belong. Making sure the customer knows she's listening to him she smiles and waits for his reply.*

*Pyron is slightly suprised that a female is in charge of the shop, as he is used to working with males. However he doesn't believe in steriotyping, and besides a female employer may make a pleasant change.*
Well I happen to be looking for work, and I noticed the sign outside saying that you wanted staff.
My name is Pyron, and I am new to these places. I am available to start work immediately and will do virtually anything.
*Pauses*
I have past experience of working for people, and I have skills in magic, particularly that of fire. Believe me a well aimed fireball is enough to deter any shop lifter or trouble maker for that matter, even if it is only a very small fireball.

*Catherine finishes putting the last of the books in there places then walks over to Pyron and offers her hand.*
I'm Catherine Barter. The owner of the shop as you can tell. Do you mind if I ask you some questions?

No I've got no problems, fire away, so to speak. I'll try and answer your questions as best as I can.

How much experience have you had and have you had any working in a shop?
*During this time more customers enter the shop and she serves them as fast but politely as possible. Allowing Pyron behind the counter so that he doesn'y confuse the customers. After a minute or two she also asks.*
I noticed you seemed a little surprised to see a woman in charge. Do you have any problems working for a woman?

*Pyron pauses to think. Whilst he has done work for many people in the past doing 'jobs' of all sort, he fears that disclosing the precise details may not be a wise idea. Some of those jobs were not the sort, that would not be wise to tell others about, especially not infront of customers.*
Well over the past few years I've done a lot of jobs for various employers. Whilst I haven't worked in a shop as such for a fairly long time, I have done work on a market stall a litlle while a go.
You must excuse me if I seemed suprised of a woman shop owner. It's not that I have got anything against woman and them being in charge. It's just a case that virtual all of my past employers have been male, and I have become used to seeing other males in charge.

*Catherine turns to face Pyron as the shop emptys again. Looking at the sun she realises she'll soon have to leave to see Sir Edmund. Looking at Pyron closely she decides that he's trustworthy but of course if she did leave him for a while she'd make sure he couldn't leave just in case.*
I tell you what. If you wish I'll watch you for work for a hour or so. You see I have to go some where that's rather important so if I like your work and you do well I'll leave you in charge. How does that sound to you?

Certainly, I've got no problem with that. If you can let me know what types of payment you accept. I assume cash is accepted, but I'm not certain what else you accept. Oh and is there anyone who is not allowed in this shop, or who I should keep an eye on if they come in.

I also accept jewels, gems etc. I don't think there is anyone not allowed in the shop but just in case there was a beggar in here the other day selling some shoes. He seemed alright but like I said just in case if he does come in keep a eye on him. You won't miss him he stinks badly and I mean badly. If he walks in and almost everyone walks out he's the one.
*Catherine smiles and then sits on a stool watching Pyron as he begins to deal with the semi constant stream of customers.*

*Pyron makes a mental note to be aware of the beggar if he enters the shop. Pyron continues in his pleasant gentlemanly style as he serves the customers. All the customers seem OK, and Pyron has no in intention of getting annoyed, partcularly whilst he is being closely watched.*
*Between customers* Where abouts in Wolfenden can I find accomodation? At the moment I haven't had much luck in finding anywhere proper to sleep.

For accomodation I know of the Wolfs Howl Inn. It's only just opened up again after some murder that happened there.
*Catherine was imprssed by Pyron's work so far. He was polite, fast and helpful.*
If I gave you the job. What hours would you be able to work?

*Pauses to think, time means money, though he could do without early starts, so he could sleep off any late night meetups.*
I can do virtually any hours, though I'm not always at my best first thing in the morning. I tend to be more awake when the sun sets.

Fair enough. Right well I need to be going so I'll leave you and see how you can cope on your own. *Catherine grabs several items and then heads for the door but then turns back and seems to rub Pyrons shoulder.(OCC: No she isin't coming on to him. ) Taking a couple of his hairs she walks back to the door and casts a spell placing a few of the hairs through the door.* I will be as quick as possible but no promises to how quick I'll be. *She steps outside.* Are you sure your ready for this?

*Pyron didn't hear the spell Catherine cast, but had a feeling it was either to stop shoplifters, or to stop him from leaving..*
Sure I should be fine, I don't think I'll have any problems. I assume you'll be back before the shop normally closes.
