I hope so. The buisness I have to attend shouldn't take that long. *Under her breath.* Hopefully. *To Pyron.* I'll be as quick as I can be. Good luck and see you soon. *With that Catherine left the shop.* [ModNote: Continued in Wanted.]

* A short while after Catherine has left the shop, Pyron goes into the backroom of the shop to make himself a drink. Returning with a drink he wonders around the shop looking at the stuff on sale.*
*Thinking to himself* "This shop certainly sells some interesting items, I don't know if any would be of use to me though." [OOC: It's Catherine's shop so it's up to her what is on sale in the shop.]
*Putting his drink down on the counter he removes a few items from his cloak. He produces a small glass globe and a stand for it, and puts the globe on its stand. Placing his hands on the globe, he mutters something, and a small fireball appears within the globe.
*To himself* If Catherine sees it and asks what it is I'll just say it's a devise for keeping the shop warm. I won't be lieing to her as it does do this, however I have a few other uses for it.
*Stares into the globe and an image appears from within the fireball. The image is of the outside of the shop, and allows Pyron to view what is going on outside.*
Still I could just set it up so that if Catherine tries using it she would just see within the shop and directly outside. That way if she saw me looking at it she would be none the wiser, as to what I may be looking at.
*Pyron uses the fire in the globe to watch what is going on in the shop, to kill a bit of time until the next customer arrives.*

[ModNote: Continued from Dawn Drink.] *FK wanders outside the store, in hope of receiving some kind of...well, anything, to reaffirm his devious dark side. Quite frankly, the past couple of months of near inaction has made FK, well, soft.* Oh, I suppose I'd better enter. Now, how do I be civil and yet evil at the same time? Oh, it's a hard job... *FK enters* Hello, shopkeeper. *FK gives a blood-curdling smile* You don't mind if I just browse a bit, do you?

*Pyron had been watching Frightknight standing outside through the fire. Upon him entering he lets the images fade away, leaving just a fireball glowing within the glass globe.*
*Pyron turns his attention to Frightknight to speak* Yes certainly feel free to browse.
*Pyron makes a mental note to himself. Whilst Frightknight isn't the beggar that Catherine spoke of there is something about him that suggest he should keep a subtle eye on him. Whilst he may be the sort of person for doing late night deals with, he might also be the type who 'forgets' to pay.

Gah, this material looks totally overwhelming. I need something simple, easy to understand and comprehend.
*Gesturing to Pyron* You there, bookkeeping person, reccommend something to me. I'm looking for litreature that will help me rediscover my dark roots. I'll make it worth your while. I won't kill you, for starters.
Doesn't have to be books, mind. Can be anything. Spells, weapons, adult material- hey, I'm a FrightKnight, not a saint; pet imps, pet hobgoblins, spices, herbs, spyglasses, joke scrolls, whatchamacallits, thingamummies, Frightknight's addresses, STUFF!

*Pyron decides that this customer is not the sort the Catherine would be pleased at having, but as a customer meant money Pyron wasn't going to chuck him out.*
If don't mind not trying to threaten me, I might make it worth YOUR while, by firstly finding something useful for you, and secondly by not throwing fireballs at you. I do believe that metal conducts heat very well.
Now I think there were some memory charms, there may be some torture equipment about, though I'm not sure what weapons we have left.. We accept cash, jewels and jems as payment.

No need to get vexed (OOC: Although FK just loves confrontation!) , I'm intrigued by these memory charms though. No need for torture equipment- I'm a fine enough swordsman and don't believe in long, drawn-out deaths. Just *FK mimes a decapitation action* clean and simple.
So, anyway. These memory charms. Er...what do they do?

Well the memory charms basically do as they say on tin. You want to rediscover your dark roots, well the memory charms should be able to help you remember your past, which in your case should be your dark roots. The charms are fairly reliable for remember things, though I couldn't guarantee you would remember everything.

Sounds like a compilation highlights package of my life! Eve if it doesn't work, there'll be great memories I can revisit.
Ah, you've twisted my arm. I'll take some. Now, I suppose you'll be wanting payment. Well, as it's such a fine day, and you have a backbone- you're willing to stand up to a FrightKnight, after all- I'll pay. Or at least, negotiate.
Eight silver pieces sound fine?

*Pyron knows that 8 pieces of silver is a good price, as he can see Catherine's price notes. However he decides to see if he can get a bit more money for them.*
* In a bartering type voice* Well I was rather hoping for 15 pieces of silver, as these are very valueble charms. However seeing as it is yourself and the main owner is absent, I would be prepared to let you have it for the bargain price of 10 pieces of silver.
*Thinking to himself "and if I get that price I would like, I could always keep 1 pieces for myself, and still please Catherine by getting more money." *

Are you sure it's wise to barter with a FrightKnight?
I'll say it again. Eight silver pieces sound fine.

*realising that he is not going to get an extra bit of money he decides to accept the original price. Whilst having a bit of money for himself, he doubts that Catherine would be happy about losing a sale because of an increased price.*
*in that traders type voice* Well you drive a hard bargain. I hope that Catherine doesn't mind me giving it to you at such a low price. Very well 8 pieces of silver it will be.
*produces a couple of memory charms The charms are in the form/style of coloured gem-like stones.* Now which of these memory charms would you prefer to have?
*Pyron keeps and eye on the door being prepared to throw a fireball in that direction if Frightknight tries to take more than he has paid for, on incase any other customer entering tries the same.*

Ah, good. Well, let me see now...I believe these ones here (*FK points to a couple of ruby-like stones*) look particularly appropriate. I'll have these.
*FK is pleased that the deal maintains an atmosphere of hostility, something that he's experienced just a few times down the years...*

Ah red, a probably a good choice, being of firestone colour it is particularly good at producing firey memories.
*Pyron puts the other memory charms away under the desk, so that Frightknight cannot help himself to any other memory charms.*
How just the small issue of the payment, and then this memory charm will be yours to have and use as you please.

*FK plunges his hands into one of his pockets and pulls out six pieces of silver.*
There you go...
*FK notices the impassive glare from Pyron and realises he hasn't got all the money in his hand*
Oh, I see.
*FK digs his other hand into his other pocket to get the other two pieces needed.*
Right, there you go.
