*Pyron makes a mental note to tell Catherine about Frightknight.
Righty ho, I'll take the silver and the memory charm is now yours. Out of interest does this village get much trouble or does one person have control over this area?

Ah, thanks.
*FK frowns momentarily- did he just THANK someone out of the goodness of his heart? These memory charms really are needed!*
As far as I know, there's not a huge amount going on. The odd scuffle now and then, but no armageddons that I can think of.
Shame really. *FK glances wistfully at images of an apocalyptic nature, and gives a twisted grin*
Anyway, I'd best be off. Can't wait to use this memory charm- anything you have to do to it to get it working its magic?

Well if I remember rightly the charms should start working by yourself. I find using it in a necklase or bracelet form the easiest form of keeping the charms close to yourself, to precent others from helping themselves to them.

Ah, great. Hope to see you again sometime...
*FK turns and exits the shop with a flourish.*
(OOC: Put that flourish back! It's not yours! Boom boom ;D)

(OCC LOL) *Entering the shop [ModNote: from Up to no good...] she spies Pyron serving many customers and heads for the back of the shop where the kitchen is as she passes smiles at him and says hello. Though she doesn't feel much like smiling but has to for the sake of buisness. No shopkeeper was allowed a bad day. In the kitchen she made what she hoped was a drink liked by Pyron and a drink for herself and went back into the shop. Trying to pretend that the last half hour or so hadn't happened.*

*Pyron spotting Catherine's arrival back clears all images from the fireball in the globe. He decides to leave it on the desk in sight knowing that he can easily explain away its presence and purpose.*
*Taking a sip from the drink* Not only a nice employer, but a fine drinks maker too. So how did your business that you had to attend go?

*Paleing slightly at the thought of what had happened in the Market Place.*
hmmmm not well..not well at all...let's say it went very badly.
*Several minutes of silence pass by....*
Hows it been going here?

It's not been too bad thanks, quite a few customers have been in and out of the place.
*Pyron remembers back to Frightknight* Just one person worth noting of. There was a FrightKnight in here, wanting to buy something to get in touch with himself. A rather dodgy character of sorts, though I did manage to get a sale.
*Pyron points to the globe of his.* I hope you don't mind me putting this up on display, it just a little thing of mine which I like to have nearby. Not only is it pretty but it gives off a bit of warmth. The thickness of the glass means that the little fireball inside it is safely contained, and if dropped the glass will not break.

Well I hope no one wants to buy it...or that you do want to sell it. It is indeed a pretty bit of equipment....
*Catherine smiles shyly....*
What else do you use it for? It has some magic about it....

*Pyron realises to himself that Catherine must know more than she lets on, as most ordinary people cannot sense magic on an item.*
No I wouldn't sell this to anyone, as they aren't easy to get hold of, unless you know where to get them, or have the skill to make them.
Well there is certainly no fooling you, as there is some magic connected to it. With a little knowledge and a bit of skill you can use it to keep an eye on the shop and its surrounding area.
*Gestures to Catherine* See if you can get an image of sort to appear in the globe. A person as good looking and as smart as yourself shouldn't have too much difficulty, particularly as you could sense its magic.

*Looking round the empty shop she takes a cautious step or two towards the alomst crystal ball thing of Pyrons. With a shy shaky head she waves it in front of the ball a couple of minutes checking for tricks or cheats. Once sure that none are in use she closes her eyes and concentrates then opens and looks deep into it. Taking deep breaths and thinking calming thoughts. For several minutes nothing happens, nothing at all almost on the verge of giving up slowly a shadow appears in the ball at first you could mistake it for a trick of the light but more and more shadows appear but nothing more. Nothing is clear or obvious no faces can be seen.*
Can you see what I see or do you see what you see?

*Pyron looks slighty puzzled* No I can't see anything either, and the strange thing is that you appear to be doing things correctly.
*Pyron moves himself next to Catherine and puts his hand on the top of the globe, as if he is trying to read what is happenning with the fireball in the globe. After a short moment he flicks his finger against the globe, and as he does so a spark appears to leave Pyron's finger and go throw the globe to the fireball. As the spark hits the fireball the fireball turns blue upon reaction, and about 3 seconds later the fireball returns to its normal colour.*
*Pyron then moves himself back to next to Catherine and from over her shoulder concentrates on the fireball, and watches and the fireball begins to form an image.* There we are, working properly now. What do you think of it?

[ModNote: Continued from Up to no good...] *Before Catherine can reply her door opens and the bell rings. Midnight enters first followed by the tiger and Wolf. Midnight doesn't notice Catherine at first and straight away goes over to the book shelves. Her cat like curiosity already peaked.* *The tiger wandered over to Pyron and Catherine nudging Pyron slightly to one side before quickly changing into human form. He dropped the back packs to the floor and looked at the young woman.* *Midnight looked up from the book she was reading and frowns at the familiar red hair..she opens and closes her mouth silently. Hoping that the red hair was not the hair of who she thought it was. Then a ever so familiar but long since forgotten smell struck her....* *Under her breath.* Catherine..... *As if hearing her name uttered Catherine looks up but is facing Coriolis, Midnight almost hidden from view by the shelves and Coriolis himself> Catherine addresses Coriolis and starts to talk..a ever friendly, warm voice fills the room.* Good morning good sir, How can I help you? *Midnight realised there and then that this was not a good way to start the day....*

* Hands moves to conceal himself in the most convenient hiding place - which just happens to be the very bookshelves behind which Midnight remains fortuitously hidden from Catherine Barter. As the former concentrates on not being seen, Hands creeps up behind her and only too late does she detect the smell, which is magnified to her immense discomfort when he puts his hand over her mouth. *

*Midnight inwardly sighed. As all bad days do...they go from bad to worse...Her nostrils filled with the unpleasent but all to familiar smell of the Beggar man. His hand grimy and dirty from lack of wash left a mark around her mouth and her skin feeling greasy. She took a step back removing herself and Sly from view completely. Now was not the time to make a scene. They needed information and wrecking Catherines shop would not be the way to go around getting it. Taking another step back she pushed Sly into a corner, with one more step she stood on his foot.....HARD.....*
