*Drassandre suddenly feels awkward, and decides that she has pried enough into the guest's troubled and troubling past.*
Drassandre: I'll leave you now, Sir. I'm sorry to have kept you from your needed rest. Besides, your stew will be getting cold. Its cost is four... no, make it three gold pieces.

*Dreslin picks up on Drassandre's mood change and smiles warmly at her*
"I apologise for going on so, but thank you for listening to me, sometimes it feels better to talk to someone! Thank you for your kindness to me, I will not forget it!"
*Dreslin reaches into his pocket and pulls a out a silver necklace with a pale pendant attached*
"To thank you for your kindness, I would like you to have this, it's meant to protect the wearer from danger, I would be honoured if you would take it, as my thanks for allowing me to talk..."
*Dreslin stands up and bows deeply to Drassandre*

Drassandre: Why thank you, Sir! How wonderful that after all you've been through, you have still held on to kindess in your heart. I'm not supposed to accept gifts from guests, but I believe I'll make this an exception. I'm afraid you must still pay for the stew though.

*Dreslin smiled at Drassandre*
"Of course! I'm glad you like it!"
*Dreslin reached into the bag, and then withdrew the required coins*

*Drassandre takes the coins.*
Drassandre: Thank you. If you require anything further, just come downstairs and ask. Rest well, Sir. Oh, and don't worry yourself about that brick floating outside the window. It's the harmless souvenir of a former guest.
*Drassandre smiles and departs the room, closing the door behind her. As she walks away, she thinks back on Dreslin's tales of hardship, as told both in his words and on his body, and she fights back tears.*

*Dreslin smiled as Drassandre took the coins and left*
"It;s nice to know that not all humans are the same!"
*He mused to himself, then set about eating the stew that he'd been brought. When he had finished eating, he placed the bowl carefully on the side, then picked up the robe that Drassndre brought. He pulled it on and eyed himself wryly in the mirror*
"I dont think I've seen a less convincing monk!" he laughed to himself, then turned to the window
"FLoating brick?" he murmured to himself as he looked out the window, sure he had misheard the maid*

*Dreslin started as he looked out the window, and saw he had not mis-heard the maid, there, floating outside of the window, was a floating brick*
"What the?! Why would anyone make a brick float outside the window?" He muttered to himself, studying it closely
*Dreslin stuck his head out the window, checking to make sure it was open before he did so, and attempted to get a closer look at the brick*
"Fascinating!" he murmured to himself, "I've never seen magic like this before! I wonder how long it's been sitting there?"
*Dreslin withdrew from the window with a sigh, and wandered back over to the bed.*
"Maybe sleep will bring me the answers I seek.." he murmured to himself, before removing the monks robe, and curling up on the bed like a cat. Within minutes he was fast asleep*

*The sound of loud stomping can be heard in the Wolf's Howl Inn (loud enough, perhaps, to rouse Dreslin from sleep). The sound is moving upstairs, growing ever heavier. It approaches Dreslin's room, and stops. The door swings open. In the open doorway stands an ogre holding a club. And he is not in the best of moods. Young Grimwold, burdened by many hours without rest, is back from his trip to Warlock. Eventful in itself, it was compounded by bumping into his mother on the path into Wolfenden, who proceeded to show off her oversized goat and tell YG's travelling companion and boss, Owen Vartern, as many embarrassing family anecdotes as she could. Driven to the verge of tearing his mother's nose off and screaming himself hoarse with expletives, YG respectully requested a few hours' rest before returning to work at the Crazed Heifer, and Owen mercifully agreed. As YG looks into the room, he suddenly realises that there is someone in there. Even though he is unsure whether the other occupant is awake or asleep, he presses his club to his side, hoping to make it less conspicuous.* Oh. I... I'm terribly sorry for the commotion. I asked for a shared room... to save coins... but they didn't tell me there-there was an occupant already here. My apologies... *YG has noticed the habit that Dreslin was wearing, though not his tell-tale ears.* ...Brother. I shan't trouble you further. *Too exhausted for prolonged self-reproach, YG approaches the vacant bed with what is as close to tiptoeing as he can muster. Settling onto the bed, he cringes inwardly as it creaks under his ogre's physique. His arm hangs off the bedside, still holding the club, albeit slightly less tightly than usual. Glancing across the room, YG catches sight of the brick floating outside the window; but tiredness is dampening his curiosity. Sighing for no reason and every reason, he allows his eyes to close.*

*Dreslin stirred from his slumber as Young Grimwold came into the room, coming round slowly, he heard Young Grimwold's words. As his sleep addled brain tried to make sense of them, he heard YG's attempts to be quiet then the creak of the bed. Surmising that his roommate had decided to sleep, Dreslin stretched and propped himself up and looked over. His first impression was of a rather large club hanging over the edge of the bed. Dreslin's eyes widened slightly as he saw it, then glanced over and saw how tired YG looked.
Resolving not to ask questions until his new room mate had woken up, Dreslin sat cross legged on the bed, and pushed his hair out of his eyes, and began to focus his breathing as he entered a semi trance*

*Jane "Raggie" Ragnell who was officaly the chambermaid of The Wolfs Howl was at this moment trying to weave her way threw the bussling Inn with out spilling the drinks on her tray or falling flat herself.*
"Bloomin Sasha and her blessed Migrain problems."
*She mutterd to herself. Sasha Pearl the Wench that Addis had used his magic on last time was feeling the affects of it and was off sick with a server migrain and brain fever. As a result Raggie had been drafted into make up the numbers in the Inn during busy hours.*
*And she hated it she was never nimble enough and was far to clumsy to be a serveing wench.*
"Thats why i'm a Chamber maid. *Looks down at her dress and blushes slightly.* "And i don't like this dress!!"
*Raggie as normal was a scruff her hair was all tussled and tangled. her face had smuges on it, her shoes scuffed and her legs were also dirty.
*And her dress (which wasn't her normal one but the shorter "Customer pleaseing" one Wenches normaly wore) was as normal lopsided, however unlike her own chamber maid one, this one ment she was constnelty trying to avoid, showing off to much to the customers.*
"How Sasha and Marta can were these dresses and not bat an eye lid i don't know."
*She said and tugged the dress back up to were she at least her modesty was preserved...as much as possible and laid the drinks on the table for the customers. She then saw Addis *Baron Grimms* and went over to serve him.*
"Yes sir what can i get for you?? Some food or a drink perhaps??"

"Ah, yes. Some water please, and if it isn't too much of trouble for you, lamb? Also, is there a school around here? A dear friend of mine is supposed to meet me there but I don't know where it is."
*Addis seemed a bit distracted as he spoke. Doesn't pay for his repairs....What a nuisince.*

[OOC: Continued from "Requip & Resupply] *Flaccus decided to head back to the Wolf's Howl and see if he could speed up Addis' recon so they could get back to the violent stuff - The only thing Flaccus really cared about. He stepped inside and looked around. Almost immediatly, he saw one Barom Grimms sitting at a table, already being served. With a chuckle, he sent Addis a message and walked upstairs. Brother, I'll be upstairs, asking around there. Let's speed this up so I can kill something. Flaccus looked at the doors, trying to listen in on any conversations he could hear, and spotted somebody sitting cross-legged on a bed...kinda like Addis does. *Scratching his head, he walked over to the doorway and leaned on a wall. This guy looks different from the others, and I think Addis mentioned a possible ally. If he's the one, I think I'll say hello.** "Hey, any of you two know a guy by the name of Barom Grimms?"

[ModNote: I think it might be less confusing if we have two separate threads for the two separate areas of the inn that are currently being used. So while Addis & NPC Jane Ragnell can carry on in this thread, the upstairs events in Dreslin & Young Grimwold's room will continue in... 'From Barom to Bedroom'.]

*Raggie smiles as she notes the order in her head. Least if he'd drinking water this customer isn't going to get drunk and proposition her like some of the others have today. She blushes deeply as she remembers what one man had wanted her to do for him.*
"I'll get your water for you sir but i'm affraid i don't know about any school neer by. I'll ask some of the other girls if they do."
*Raggie heads back to the bar, hopeing it's Ann-Marie on duty. She's freindly with all the staff but she feels more comfortable asking Ann for information, plus she dosen't realy want Amanda or Drassandra to see how embarased she was at wearing a serveing wench outfit.*
*And she certianly didn't want Larta, the new girl, to see. Raggie heard a female laugh comeing from one side of the room and looked over and again blushed Larta was over serveing a group of customers and she was getting rather "freindly" with them.*
"Gods she as bad as her sister."
*Raggie said under her breath as she reached the bar and looked around to see who was on duty.*
