*Dal's gaze flickered briefly from one to the other a moment before reaching up and taking the poster from him. He unrolls the poster across the bar top reading what is stated and looks up and around the inn, his gaze flitting from face to face as he slowly rolls up the piece of paper once more.*
ANN-MARIE!
*He calls out loudly and sharply yet none of the customers raise any eyebrows or look worried. Obviously calling for one of the wenches. one appearing , almost jumping out of shock from around a corner further down the other end of the bar. Her clothing dusty as well as her hair a mischevious smile on her face and on her lips before she walks up to Dal. Her clothing more modest than the other wenches of the establishment. Wearing a pair of trousers and a covering, long sleeved top, the clothing just s dusty s her face an hair.*
Yes, Dal what worries you to call my name like so?
*her voice light and cheerful until he passes over the paper an she unfolds it herself giving it a brief glance an returning it giving a knowing nod of the head as her smile faded slightly an she headed towards the stairs.*
I am sure any of the wenches will be eager to serve you both as long as you can pay them.
*Dal says to the two before disappearing behind the bar and out of sight.*

*Addis grabs some coins from the bag, enough for a room and food for a few days.* "Keep the rest, I do not need it." *He walks over to the barkeep after putting the money in a pocket within his robe* "A room, water, and meat." *After getting the roomkey, he heads up stairs to his room.* [OOC: Continued in "Addis' Room". Not sure what Dreslin'll be doing.]

*Dreslin looks startled as Addis hands him the remainder of the gold and watches as Addis walks off to his room. He turns to the inn keeper and smiles*
"Can I get a room for a couple of nights, if possible?"

*Dal looked at the stranger a moment as if he had forgotten he was there before nodding his head slightly.*
Of course that is always possible as long as you have the coin to be able to pay for a room.

[OOC: Clearly Dal's attempt to 'disappear out of sight' did not work with his customers. ;D] *A maid (the one who was just with Addis) arrives from upstairs. Drawing Dal's attention away from the elf momentarily, she quietly reports that Tom Troughton's room can now be classified as vacant, and she hands Dal the room key. Then she excuses herself, and leaves to drop off the items in her basket. (Still under Addis' spell, she knows that she be of better service to her beloved if she deals with the distractions of her basket before she heads out to the marketplace.)* [ModNote: The maid is next seen here.]

*Dreslin smiles benignly at Dal, and then glances at the maid's departing back and frowns slightly to himself*
"Something doesn;t feel right here" he muses to himself, Dreslin shrugs mentally and then turns back to Dal
"Is there a room available that I could use, and also arrange for some refreshments to be sent up to it, it's been a long, and interesting day!" Dreslin says politely

*Dal nods, offers Dreslin the key he is holding, tells him the cost of a two night stay, and asks Drassandre the maid to show Dreslin to the room. They climb the stairs.*
Drassandre: In case Mr. Marx didn't mention, this is a large room, two beds, and if the inn grows full, you may find yourself sharing with a stranger. [OOC: As it happens, this was customary in mediaeval inns.] Hope that's acceptable!
*The pair reach Tom Troughton's former room, with its distinctly damaged door, currently closed and locked.*
Drassandre: What refreshments do you wish for, Sir?

*Dreslin follows Drassandre up the stairs, and smiles at the comment*
"I'm used to sharing with others, that's fine, as long as they're not the sort to rob me whilst I sleep!" he finishes with a laugh
*SOme water is fine, or some ale if possible, and whatever food is available, it's been a long journey.."

Drassandre: We have a selection of cold meats that you might enj- ...but your people don't eat animal, do they? I'm never quite sure.

*Dreslin gave a snort of laughter at Drassandre's comment*
"Well, some of my people do eat it, but many of us don't, perhaps it might apply to your people as well?" Dreslin said with an impish grin
"I happen to not eat it, as it feels like eating a friend, but if you have any vegetable stew, or fruits, I'll gladly buy those!" Deslin said happily

Drassandre: Yes, we have a fine vegetable stew available. Do let yourself in and make yourself comfortable, and I'll be back with some before you know it!
*Drassandre starts to walk away. Then she turns.*
Drassandre: If I may be so bold, what kind of elf are you? I know only of wood elves, cavern elves... and booksh elves.
*She giggles, for longer perhaps than her pun deserves.*

*Dreslin frowned to himself*
"Maybe I should've been a bit more polite to the young lady.." he mused
*Dreslin went through the door of his room, his eyes scanning the room to ensure that there was no-one in there apart from him. Once he had saisfied himself that there was no-one in the room apart from him, he gave a sigh of relief and dropped down onto the bed.*
"What to do next though," he said aloud to himself, and then glanced down at himself and winced slightly.
*His garments were looking decidedly the worse for wear for the travelling he had done, and with a resigned sigh, Dreslin removed his tunic, and placed it on the bed behind him. He stood up, and looked at it thoughtfully, and then gestured towards it. The top vanished leaving Dreslin standing there looking annoyed.*
"What the?! That definitely shouldn't have happened!" he said sharply
*Dreslin walked over to the side of the bed and prodded it where his tunic had been. He sighed as he realised it was definitely gone, and looked down at himself again.*
"I find some clothes soon, otherwise people are going to want explanations as to how I cam to be like this!"
*As he said this, Dreslin turned this way and that, looking at himself, and wincing at the scars that covered his torso, and the tattoo that wound around his arm*

*Drassandre returns with the vegetable stew. The door of the room appears to have been left open.*
Drassandre: *Thinks* He's probably too used to living outside to be shutting doors behind him instinctively. That's assuming he's a wood elf. He might be a cavern elf. But then, caverns don't have doors either...
*She stands just to one side of the doorway.*
Drassandre: Sir? I have returned! May I enter?
