*Ann-Marie quickly shoots Raggie a disproving look before shooing her off with a vague wave of her hand then smiling.*
I am sorry to say Raggie your not type of suitor, I like my women more filled out!
*She says with a grin and a wink While grabbing a simple cloth with the other and giving herself as much as a dry down as she can again, being sure to try and dry as much of herself and her clothing off as possible. When she hears the inn doors open she looked up and does a quick head could as several people walk in to the already busy inn.*
*Taking a deep breath she drops the damp cloth onto the bar and watches quietly a moment before approaching Meliss as she appears to be waiting. Catching a brief few words of what is said but not the whole sentence she smiles as she approaches.*
You will have to speak louder than that to be served in here Especially on a day like today. How can I help you? *Meliss returns a smile* "Yes, I would like to book a room for myself and my exhausted friend here. One is not sure how long the two of us will be residing in Wolfenden, so I would like to book the room for the foreseeable future, if that is possible." *With one hand (the other around Red), Meliss reaches into the pouch she has tied round her waist and draws out a handful of gold coins* "How much would that cost?" |

*Ann-marie smiled faintly glancing a moment down to the waist as the womans hand moved.*
That would depend, are you wishing for seperate rooms or for a room for two?
Also depends on if you will be wanting any meals brought to you or would you be either buying from the bar as and when you wish to or finding your own meals from day to day.
Also depends on what type of room or rooms you would like we have the basic rooms and then the ones more comfortable.

*Red starts snoring a bit*
"He's exhausted poor thing. Anyway, regarding the meals, one thinks it would be best if I just ordered my food down here when I need it. I tend to be out a lot during the day".

*Ann-Marie gave a brief glance over to the stranger standing next to Meliss as she heard the snore but she had seen far stranger ways of people rolling into the inn, sometimes the rolling in was literal so this was almost normal in comparison.*
*She nodded her head slightly and gave a faint smile her gaze once more returning to Meliss.*
Certainly, would you like me to take you up to a room now?

The Brick Investigation Group (minus Robin, minus Meliss & Red, plus Dreslin) continues up and along through the inn, nearing Dreslin's door.*
Forgive me, I forgot to mention that there is another guest in my room. He was sleeping when I left. An ogre, but he seemed to me to be a peaceful type.
*The sounds of someone shouting "FOR SCUMBORE'S SAKE!!", and of breaking glass, echo along the corridor from Dreslin's room. Dreslin raises an eyebrow or two, and looks round at his companions for their reactions.*

"Well, as slightly alarming as that sounds, I think I'd rather reserve judgement until I;ve actually met the gentleman, after all, i can be quite cranky when I wake up!" She added with a laugh

If you and your friend go wait at the bottom of the stairs I will be with you promptly. Do you need some assistance with your friend?

"Thank you for offering help, but at the moment he's light enough for me to carry on my own...he's due a growth spurt soon, if one's estimations are correct, when he's through that he'll be the size of a large dog. One is glad that it hasn't happened yet..."
*She puts her money away for the moment and heads over to wait for Ann-Marie at the stairs*

*Ann-Maries head turns as her gaze follows the pair and then she turns and walks towards the bar, moving to stand behind it for a few minutes glancing over the crowd and then picking up a bunch of keys while replacing one key under the bar. She quickly joins the woman and her friend at the bottom of the stairs then leads the woman up them, quietly moving rapidly along the small passage way and to the bigger rooms.*
*She unhooks one key from the bunch and unlocks the first door she comes to and pushes it open then steps back into the hall letting the two pass her to enter the room.*

*Callimpsest is struck with terror at the noise from Dreslin's room, and seems on the verge of running away. But a realisation stops him. There is silence among the group for a short while. Callimpsest catches his breath and looks calmer.*
I know only one ogre in these surrounds. And said ogre has never given me cause to fear him.
