*yells Morwena as Chryso-Mamab lurched in their direction, almost treading on Phoenixflame who dived out the way*
"That was close!" Phoenixflame stammered
"Too close!"
*Morwena agreed, her normall bright purple feathers had turned a sickly shade of lilac at the closeness of it and flew down to Phoenixflame's shoulder and nuzzled her*
"I'm fine," Phoenixflame smiled slightly, and stroked the phoenix's head
"That's a good idea with the lightning Tom, but we do need to find some metal.... Hmmm, Copper is normally pretty conductive! "

[Raven]

My arrowheads are made of Steel. Are you going to enchant them, or do you want me to make this snake into a lightning rod?

[Tom Troughton]

"Copper you say Flamey. Errr you don't mind if I call you flame do you? *With out wating for a responce* Jolly Good. Now Copper, copper."

*Tom starts empteing his pockets.*

"Miss Raven if you can provide an Arrow I can provide the meens to turn that snake into a lightning rod."

"Errm hold these would you Flamey"

*Tom Pulls out all sorts of brika brack and passes it to PhoinexFlame.*

*He pulls out a long lenth of Copper Wire.*

"Now Miss Raven if you can provide me with one of your Arrows."

*Gives Arrow to Tom*

Make it quick Tom, this oversized pair of shoes isnt going to hnag around forever!

"No I don't mind, most of my friends call me that anyway!" Phoenixflame says with a smile

*Looks at the stuff she has been passed*

"Ohh, jelly beans!"

*Looks embarrased*

"Sorry, got carried away there How long will it take, i can resummon Penny for the lightning, she should've healed up some by now,,,"

[DimensionGirl]

*Wants to do something but doesn't know what, as her powers are nothing compared to Phoenix' and Tom's, so instead she whispers some advice to them*

"What about targetting the serpent's eyes? If it's blinded then that's one less advantage it'll have"

[PhoenixFlame]

*Phoenixflame nods in agreement*

"That's a good idea, it would give us a distinct advantage over it, did you want me to summon some bad weather for the lightning?*

*Without waiting for an answer Phoenixflame begins to murmur under her breath*

[Raven]

*Raven fires two arrows into the now crumbling School Gate Walls, causing it to colapse further, The serpents mistakes this for the group, and is further distracted.*

Tom, Cmon with that wire!

[PhoenixFlame]

*Stops chanting and looks at the now crumbling school walls in horror*

"No, not my castle gate walls, that stone took forever to find! Oh well, guess I'll have to rebuild it!" Phoenixflame says with a sad grimace and then restarts her chant*

[Raven]

*Watches as the Serpent smashes its head into the wall in an attempt to destroy what made the noise*

Well.. im sure there is a binding spell we can use...

*Looks at Tom, transfixed byt he arrow and the wire*

What is he doing? He's just.. staring at it!

[PhoenixFlame]

*pauses in her chanting as the serpent attacks and knocks another part of the wall down*

Erm, Tom, are you OK? Did you want me to resummon some lightning?

[Raven]

OOC: In the abscence of Tom, we should continue.

BIC:
*Raven watches Tom, studying his curious staring fixation. Suddenly, the Arrow and the Wire leap together, and bond into an Arrow with a length of wire attached to it. Raven takes the arrow from Tom*

Wow, that is impressive. I have a few things you can fix for me later. Right now though.

*Raven lifts her bow with the Wire Arrow, and shoots it neatly into the Serpents back. The Serpent rears and storms towards Tom and Raven, now knowing that the enemy is not at the wall. Raven sees Tom still sitting there, fixated, and shoves him out of the way just as the Serpent reaches them. Raven flinches back....*

[DimensionGirl]

*Feels like a bit of a lemon, having limited power, but wants to help with the battle*

"Um...is there anything I can do to help?"

[Sorry for the absence, I've had RP'ing block a bit]

[Raven]

*...narrowly avoiding being hit full on by the Serpent. Her ankle does not make it out of the way in time however, and Raven stops as the pain of a broken ankle races up and down her body. Raven, rather than rolling and getting back up, merely continues on her dive path and hits Tom squarely in the gut. (Luckily she isnt wearing a helmet. For Tom that is!) The serpent rears around for another pass*

[PhoenixFlame]

(OOC, sorry haven't been able to get online for a bit!)

*Phoenixflame winces as she hears Raven's ankle break, and gestures to Morwena to distract the serpent*

*Morwena flies off and then quickly reappears carrying a fairly large stone, which she proceeds to drop in the creature's ruined eye*

"If you can Julia, try to get Raven out the way, try a float spell to keep her foot off the ground, and then put some of this ointment onto it, it won't cure the break, but it will ease the pain a bit"

*As Phoenixflame finishes talking she throws a small silk purple bag to Julia, then runs towards the serpent, trying to keep it distracted whilst Tom recovers*
