"Well, same result! You managed to hurt it!" Phoenixflame grinned

*Morwena flies back to Phoenixflame and starts whispering frantically in her ear*
"Hmm, that might work!" Phoenixflame murmured, a wicked grin spreading across her face

*Phoenixflame walks towards the giant serpent, whispering under her breath rapidly, and then stands in front of it*

"Well come on you big bully, I'm down here!" She shouts, waving her arms furiously

[Raven]

*Raven lands and stops running, she takes aim at the serpents kneck, but waits for PheonixFlame to finish her move*

Just in case....
(Under breath)

*Being an amateur, Julia stands back a bit from the fight because of her limited powers, but knows that if the time comes again, she'll use what she has*

"Aha foul serpent, it looks like you're losing!"

[OOC: Sorry I haven't been around in the evening as much - blame Big Brother, it's on at 9pm every night lol. I'll try and post when I am online though!]

[PhoenixFlame]

*phoenixflame notices raven standing ready at the side, and Julia nearby and grins slightly*

"You're right Julia, we are winning!"

*Phoenixflame finishes off her incantation in her head and twin swords appear in her hands*

"Now, taste cold steel!" shouts Phoenixflame

*Phoenixflame lunges forward, aiming for the gap in the scales of the creatures throat, knowing it might be a weak point*

*Chryso-Mamba saw the attack commeing and moved his neck out of the way Phoenixflame's blades missed but she landed on her feet.....Just!*

*Mamba tunred round hisseed at her and then with lightning quick speed reard its head back and then sparply forward spitting venom at Phoniex which hit her right in the face.*

[Raven]

*Raven unleashed her arrow as soon as she saw the dodge, she unleashes an arrow straight into t he beasts mouth as it spits the venom. In the book realm, this seemed to be a pretty effective way of killing monsters.....*

[PhoenixFlame]

*Unfortunately, the creature has a flap of skin that covers the weak spot that would normally kill it. The arrow sticks in the back and enrages the serpent further*

*Phoenixflame staggers backwards with a face full of venom and drops to her knees, trying to clear the smell and taste of the venom from her throat*

"Argh, don;t you know its rude to spit at people!" Morwena shouted, as she hovered at a safe distance

[Raven]

*Raven rushes forward and grabs PheonixFlame, rolling barely out of the way as the serpent attempts to make a kill dive. Raven and Pheonix skid for a short distance before they stop. Raven tears a piece of her tunic (Under her laether armor) and wipes the venom from Pheonix's face*

That usually works!

*coughs as the last of venom is removed from her face*

*looks up at Raven, and smiles weakly*

"Thanks for that!, now lets see if we can find a weakspot for this overgrown lizard!"

[Tom Troughton]

*Chryso-Mamba started thrashings its body about widly trying to free its tail from the fallen tree eventualy it did with a very violet jerk of its whole body that sent the tree flying in the direction of Julia & Tom.*

"OH MY GIDDY AUNT!!!"

*Tom cired as he pushed Juils put of the way and then ducked himself the tree just missing his head by an inch. The tree saild a bit furthe befroe smaking into the school wall breaking both the tree and the wall.*

*Tom looked back at Mamba who was now slithering towards Phoinexflame and Raven.*

"Try a little of this one."

*Tom cast another spell and this time from out of no were a great ball of mud apperd and hit Mamba right in the face temporly blinding the monstrus reptile.*

"Here's mud in your eyes."

*Tom said with a smile.*

[Raven]

*Raven helped Phenoix up. Seeing the serpent's temporary blindness, Raven made good on the oppotunity, using two arrows as daggers, she raced towards the beast. Raven jumps and climbs up the beast till she reaches the minor wounds caused earlier, and sunk the arrows as far into the wound as she could...*

[PhoenixFlame]

*The arrows pierce deep and Mamba screeches in pain and fury, tossing this way and that in an attempt to shake Raven off*

"I'd jump off of there if I was you" shouts Morwena

*Phoenixflame yelps a grab spell and the magic pulls Raven out of the reach of the thrashing serpent*

"Looks like you managed to hurt it, but it doesn't look life threatenisng, unfortuantely" commented Phoenixflame

*Phoenixflame helps Julia to her feet and looks at Tom*

"Whilst it's blinded I think we may need to rethink our strategy, we seem to be hurting it, but not doing serious damage! Any suggestions? Maybe wecould teleport it somewhere?"

[Raven]

Are there any volcanic breaches? This thing must have some weakness, and if theres one thing I know, serpents dont like volcanic lava!

[PhoenixFlame]

*Looks stunned and start to splutter*

"That's a very good idea, infortunately, I decided against building my school on a volcaninc breach, all these rules on Health and Safety, you know!"

*Looks around, Mamba is still trying to get the mud from its eyes and is in obvious pain*

"Hmm, if we don't have a volanic breach, maybe we could teleport it to one? But as my magic has been playing up quite badly, I don't want to risk dropping this oversized handbag onto some other poor unsuspecting souls!"

[Tom Troughton]

"Same gose for my magic. I'm affraid arwfully unreliable."

*Tom says as he makes his way over to Rvaen and Phoinex. Then insperation strikes him.*

"Raven do you have any mettel Arrows or a dagger you could afford to losse??"

"Lava might not be fesibal but maby a lightning bolt is. If we could chanal a lightning bolt into Chryso-Mamab here wala one fryed Serpent extra crispy."
