I don't know. One day I woke up with no recollection of anything. But I've been finding the surroundings of Wolfendon quite familiar, so my memories must be in my head somewhere.

Trusty: And wanting to be found, I'd say. We've not met until today, that I know; but have you seen anyone you do remember from times before?

Um...I don't think so, no.

Trusty: Oh, well then have you heard of anyone you think you remember?

Umm...well I have heard of a dragon called Smirkenorff. He sounds a bit familiar.
*Shadow is careful not to mention that she is looking for him as that might make Trusty not want to sell her anything.*

Trusty: Ah, Smirkenorff. Well he is a dragon, so your memory is right about that! We see him sometimes landing in Wolfenden. He's quite close to the Confuser family: Hordriss, Sidriss, Meliss. Are their names familiar?

*Shadow thinks. She has a feeling she's heard the name 'Hordriss' before (and not just from Drassandre saying it earlier) but she can't recall Sidriss or Meliss.*
Hmm...Hordriss sounds slightly familiar. Who is he?

Trusty: A wizard. Or warlock. Or perhaps a mage, I know not which. Whichever, a man of high magic and supporter of the Powers That Be, though he wasn't always. Very distinctive hair: white with streaks of red that were rumoured to be blood.

He sounds very interesting. Who are the other two then?

Trusty: Sidriss is his daughter. She has trained as a sorceress and hopes to follow in her father's footsteps... *Trusty's thoughts turn inward for a moment* ...but it's said she needs a finding spell to get her from one footprint to the next! And Meliss is Hordriss' niece. She too has magic and studied at the Knightmare Boarding School just outside the town. She calls herself GreenDragon in tribute to Smirkenorff.

Intriguing...
*Shadow remembers the original issue.*
So, are you going to offer me any weapons or should I find another stall?

*Trusty suddenly starts to worry that he might lose a customer. While still uncertain whether he should be selling weapons to a child, not least one that may have too little money to pay him full price, he decides to try what he believes is called 'eliminating the competition'.*
Trusty: There's not as many traders selling weapons around here as you might think. Oliver Scaramonger has some, but he's been ill with the plague. Not much good buying a nagatata from him if you end up too ill to use it! And Catherine Barter sells weapons too, but her shop's been shut for a good couple of days. Some say the light bees got her.
*Putting the 'stall' into stallholder...*

Umm...okay. So what have you got then if you don't have a nagitana.

*Trusty hesitates yet again. He knows he cannot dodge this question. However, he hasn't done a proper stocktake for some time and his items for sale are in a jumble across, under and behind his stall, with some hanging above it too.
Just then, a girl who can't be older than 8 or 9 wanders over and starts tugging Trusty's trouser-leg.*

*Shadow looks at the young girl who has just come up.*
Who's this? Is she an acquaintance of yours?
