As established in 'Looking for Leytan', Leytan's room is "in the staff quarters ... sepreat from the main rooms ... up [on] the very top floor." So Drago and Lady Mercury won't be able to hear noise from Tom's room, especially faint noise, until they descend from the top floor and head towards it. That might sound like a minor detail, but continuity is important on Surrounds, and every established fact counts. Also, anything the tooth is doing should be posted about in 'Back In Tom's Room' for the moment. After all, Lokie is there too, and if the tooth is trying to leave the room, he might want to do something about it.] |

No idea. We'd hardly met the girl before she passed out, and all of a sudden, this tooth was out of her hand and on my trail. Perhaps it was all a trap to allow some disgruntled dentist to take revenge on me for an unpaid debt, but I've always got on famously with dentists.
