I hope not. I'm guessing that if Festus were in the Forest, somone from Wolfenden would have reported him by now. Or there would have been raids on the nearby farms. No, I think Festus is somewhere rather more distant - and I'm going to have to go searching at some point. If it stops my mother nagging and wailing, it's worth it.

*quizzical look quickly changes into an amused one.*
Sounds... amusing.

Mother? I don't think she means to be so entertaining, but she often is. I suppose it was just her way of coping with Dungeon life. Though now that she has no passing dungeoneers to hassle and fuss over, and no Festus to berate, I get the brunt of it.
She'd always complain about Father, so I tried not to be as much of an Ogre; but she understands me even less. There was someone who understood me back in the Dungeon, but... I... will hopefully track down Festus. And replace the sound of nagging with the sound of snarling.

Is your mother an ogre as well?

*Young Grimwold ponders this question.*
No. Just a standard crone. Though even I sometimes wonder... b-but not excessively.

*Robin toys with questioning YG's description of his mother as a 'crone', but instead slips into deep thought.*

*Looking at Robin, YG fights his urge to ask what Robin is pondering. He knows full well about the sanctuary, the citadel even, of private contemplation. Bored of the sound of his own voice, he waits for Robin to speak.*

*Robin shakes himself out of a reverie.*
Oh, dear me, I slipped away there for a second. You know, talking about our respective homes has given me a hunger for my own. It's a long trek, but if I make a start now, I can probably get back before dark.
*He makes to stand.*

I think I'll spend the night here, provided they've got a spare bed. Sometimes it's difficult finding room at the inn at this time of year... but a walk home on my own doesn't appeal at the moment.
*YG wonders what to say next, knowing that anything he does say will be a form of procrastination.*
You will... we will... i-if you run out of things to do in the Forest...

*Robin grins, dashingly.* Don't worry, Grimwold... I'll endeavour to find you around some time... *He shakes YG's hand.* ...farewell for now, and thank you for a very interesting afternoon! *Robin tips his hat, opens the door of the Wolf's Howl, and skips merrily outside. The door closes behind him.* (OOC: Thanks for a great plotline, all!) [ModNote: Robin is next seen in Making off with the gold.]

[OOC: Thank you too.] Bye. *YG is left looking forlorn. He mouths six words; then heads over to the counter to sort out payment for the meal, and a room for a night or so. That done, he heads upstairs for a rest, perhaps a sleep, maybe even a dream.* [OOC: This is where YG will be until further notice, in case any other character wants to happen across him.] [ModNote: YG would return in Something Brewing.]
