my name is sundburn I'm a direling [half elf half orc] some call me shy but its only because I don't trust them with my information my life story. I'm a brutal fighter and until now I sold my skills in combat to those who could afford them. now I'm tracing my blood line to a sanctuary seeking knowledge off those who came be for and running from my past. I'm tall from my mother she was an elf I have her ears and blood red eyes the rest is from my farther: green skin muscular body and fighting prowess. sometimes I use magic but rarely for it burns my carvings deeper and renders me weak after battle. me usual wear even for battle is pantaloons and light shoes with metal toes

[OOC: *facepalm* I am just too inspirational XDDDDDDDDD]
Welcome! My name is Shadow. You have red eyes?! Yes, finally I've found someone with the same eyes as me!!! I'm not very fond of elves, but a direling? Hmm...there's a small chance I might grow to like you if we meet.

Hello, Sundburn. Young Grimwold is my name. As the son of a human and an ogre, I too am half one thing and half another. I hope you are not, like me, lost somewhere in the middle - nor indeed burned asunder as your name might suggest. I am both glad and sorry that your quest has taken you to this corner of the Knightmare Realm: men say that something terribly bad hides in corners.

Elf and orc? Just fascinating! What would draw such disparate creatures together to- oh but I'm sorry: it's not for me to pry. Allow me to elucidate my curiosity. These lands were once defined by the conflict between Powers That Be - the Pi Theta Beta fraternity if you will - and the Opposition, with whom pledging was altogether less salubrious; and while one side enlisted the assistance of elves, the other has been known to employ orcs. So you see, it is most intriguing to learn of someone with your dual bloodline. I can only imagine the challenges that would ensue for you should said conflict ever be reignited.
Oh, and my name is Callimpsest, but that is a fact not nearly as important as I once thought. I shall be pleased to meet you if your travels take you to Wolfenden.
