*While not too dissimilar to the marble hall below, this would be a shock to anyone. A huge, domed chamber with massive windows of glass, a slab of circular stone in the centre which looks artificial, and views over... somewhere rocky, but Robin's not sure where that is... this is a marvel to behold. What Robin's uneasy about, however, is that this place looks inhabited. Until now, his encounter with Shadow is the only living being (bats notwithstanding) that has been in any contact with him since he fell into the Dungeons all those hours ago. But this chamber, wherever it is, gives him a slight feeling of unease. For a start, it is lit, noticeably magically; for another, it appears to be in good condition, and for a third, there are relatively new-looking scuff marks on the floor, signs of a recent struggle, battle or particularly aggressive walking. As he looks around the chamber waiting for Shadow to emerge, his ears pick up a low-frequency technomagical hum, which he hadn't heard before anywhere in his journeys. But its presence is noticeable here, if one should care to listen for it. The Woodsman is pleased of some natural light from the windows themselves, but still, he is on edge. He's being watched.* [OOC: We are, of course, here, but without LF and/or Lissard's presence. The window which shows the picture - in this case, of what I assume to be Knightmare Castle - is at the moment not showing anything except the view outside.]

*Once again, Shadow quickly follows Robin through. When she emerges though, deja-vou stabs through her like a knife.*
My god...
*Or is it that she's just been somewhere that's similar to the appearance of this room? Not bothering to find a proper answer, Shadow makes her way towards one of the windows and look out.*
Wow...not a bad view.
*She then looks down.*
Umm...Robin? You're not afraid of heights, are you?

I live in a tree. Of course I'm not afraid of hei... er, why do you ask?

A tree? Oh wait, you're a woodsman aren't you? Well you can see for yourself what I mean.
*Shadow makes a quick head flick, as if to say "Come over here". If you looked down from the window, there is a massive drop to the ground. This doesn't bother Shadow, but she just wanted to see what Robin would say.*

*Robin trundles over.*
Okay, maybe that is a bit high... but what should it matter? We're in here, and that's out there.

Well, that's true, but...
...where exactly is here?

*Robin looks around.*
Well... I'm not sure. But... but...
*He reflects.*
...well, this is obviously man-made, as were the chamber below us and the sewers we travelled through. And I doubt whoever used this... this place... would have wanted to exit through a system of caverns... which, to my knowledge, don't appear to have any exit in the first place! So... by a system of elimination... there must be another way out of here... wherever here is!

Well...maybe we could try finding some secret doors again. I'll try getting a better look at the walls.
*Shadow takes one of her candles out and blows on it to ignite it. *
This should make things quicker for us.

*After his eighth wall check, Robin has to conclude something.*
Okay, there aren't any hidden doors, are there?
*He looks mournfully out of one of the windows.*
And I don't fancy our chances at getting one of these open... or of survival having taken any sort of jump. Unless you've got any ideas, I can see the only way out being...
*He indicates the hole where the stairs had been.... except the stairs aren't there any more.*
...oh.

*Shadow hasn't had much luck either. After seeing that the stairs are gone, that doesn't help much.*
Have you got any ideas?
Voice: I think that's the first time you've ever asked me for help. But I'm stumped.
Damn.
*She wasn't intending to say this out loud, but it just slipped. Blood is still dripping from her hand, but Shadow ignores this.*

*Robin heard the curse.*
What?
[OOC: Will be back after the weekend.]

Hmm? Oh...err...damn, this candle isn't helping us!
*A poor excuse, but Shadow decides not to mention that she was talking to the Voice. She extinguishes the candle by licking her fingers and pinching the flame.*
So...one thing we can establish now is that we're trapped.
*She looks out of the window again.*
Well...we could try getting out of the window. I mean, I have the Feather of Falling and all...
...but it depends what's down at the bottom.

*Robin looks out of the window.*
Maybe. But we'd have to open the window first... and unless our swords would do any major property damage on what looks like quite thick glass, I can't see any way to do that.
*He thinks.*
Plus, only one of us has a Feather of Falling. Unless you could get help or have an extremely long rope, that would only let you go and...
*He's about to complain, but then remembers he's meant to be heroic.*
...and that would be absolutely fine.
*It's not the most convincing performance ever.*

"Unless you could get help or have an extremely long rope, that would only let you go and... ...and that would be absolutely fine."
Voice: Aww, the poor ickle woodsman will be left all alone. Just forget him. If he says he's a hero then he can find his own way out.
...no...
*Shadow takes the feather back out and lets go of it, letting it float to the floor.*
We can find a way out, but I'm putting you first, Robin. I don't deserve this thing.
*She turns her head towards him.*
Although, if you want it, it's not for free.
*A drop of blood falls from Shadow's hand onto the end of the quill point of the feather, staining it dark crimson.*
...oops.

I...
*Robin just isn't the type to trust a magical object. Or hurl himself out of a window, come to think of it.*
....I don't want it. Really.
