Peasant: I have a farm near here. I awoke to find that barn had caught fire. I rescued my animals and set off to seek help, not realising - *he indicates his singed beard* - that the fire had spread, for it burned slowly and quietly. My name is Peter Allin Sant; what is yours?

Peter: Heh, there are wolves aplenty in the forests. The Greenwardens refuse to harm them, but 'tis cowardice if you ask me. If you do happen to slay any, then you truly will be a hero to me and the other farmers!

Peter: I will be fine. *Wincing at the untreated rash from his stinging nettle collision* In due time! I must return to the farm and what is left of my barn. I don't even know how the fire began. But, er, thank you again for your help, and humble apologies if I startled you. I'll remember your name, Autumn Valory. Fare thee well!
*Peter gets up, picks up his torch (which is still alight), and with a wave to Autumn, heads back the way he came.*

*It's not long before Peter stops, thinking he saw something fall from the sky. Dismissing it as his imagination, he continues on his way.
Autumn, though, will not be able to ignore it so easily when something else drops from above, very nearly catching her on the head. Flashing past her face, it bounces off her foot and lands with a loud clink in some grass close by.*

*Another gold coin falls from somewhere above and lands nearby. This one is not so pristine. It looks to be stained with blood. The blood isn't dry, so Autumn may infer that it is fresh.*

*Wanting to catch it this time, Autumn takes a few steps back. Then she takes a run-up and jumps very high and grabs the ring. She lands back down on the ground.*

*She puts the ring on her finger to try it on.*

*Remembering that she saw something when she jumped, Autumn looks up.*
