"Hmm, this strikes me as stand well back moment, personally!!" Phoenixflame said with a laugh, then looked curiously at Julian
"You OK, you looked somewhere else for a moment there!"

(OOC: Sorry for the double post, i just thought I'd try to move this along a bit, Mods, feel free to delete if it's not good ) *Phoenixflame waited for a moment for a reply from Julian, then mentally shrugged when he didn't reply and turned back to the matter at hand* "So, what's the plan?"

*At this point the brick gave off another bright glow that lasted for a moment or two and then fadeded*

*Zeytan looked at teh brick as it glowed. Then turned back and looked at Phoinexflame and then across at Young Grimwold*
"Well as i said the cognetive methord has failed so why not try the blute force methord. If Master Young Grimwold would render us his services for a few moments and weild his club in the direction of this blasted.....Brick."
"And we shall see...what we shall see."

Are you entirely sure, sir, that hitting the brick with a club is... wise?

*YG looks at Robin and smiles inwardly. It takes a brave man to question the wisdom of a philosopher known among his people, and beyond, by the epithet 'the Learned'. While YG himself doubts that there is any remaining alternative to the unleashing of a bout of ogrish aggression on the brick, he is glad that Robin's question gives him an excuse to procrastinate.*

*phoenixflame looked sceptically at the brick as she thought over the plan*
"I'm slightly concerned about just smacking it, to be honest, i mean, if the combined magic of myself and Meliss could barely affect it, i dread to think what brute force could do to it... But i don;t have a better suggestion." She admitted

*Looks at Phoniex and Robin and nods*
"My point egsactly Headmistress. All other more suttle and interlectual avenues have been tried and exasuted."
"Magic has been inifecteive....all that is left is to try the more cruder method of brute force. As all other opptions seeme stimyed."

[OOC: Sorry that this has been such a long time in coming.]
*Young Grimwold tries to stay calm, under the mounting pressure for him to attack the brick. Be an ogre, be an ogre, be an extension to your club, don't bother to be anything more. He tries to persuade himself that this is not their sentiment, and that they are only championing the most practical solution, but he can't bear the position he's in: diminish yourself or let your friends and acquaintances down. He attempts to dull these thoughts by sharpening another: he is still trying to remember those parting words of Anthony Delgado's. He can't. It's no good. He's no good. And now, just to remind him of what he truly is, he is getting one of his ogrish headaches, underlaid by a whistling sound. The light is aggravating him. He hopes it will be dark soon. He looks up to check the sky.
And his gaze is drawn to the white-clad lurker. And he begins to feel calmer, as if someone is reaching into him to comfort him, to help him. Without knowing it, or at least without resisting it, his feet are moving him off the net handle. With no weight on the handle, the brick begins to rise, taking the net with it.
His headache is melting, but not that whistling. Maybe it will fade once the headache has gone. Continuing his slow backward steps, and ignoring anyone who may be talking or calling to him, he is thinking about Delgado's message. "Tell him..." something.
Still that whistling.
"If you see him, tell him..." No, not 'him' twice.
The brick burns through the netting and continues to float up. The net falls to the ground.
"If you see him, tell him I said..." Something trivial. Hello. Good day. That part doesn't matter. It's the first 'him' that matters. Who?
Wait, it isn't whistling.
Soon the brick will be out of reach.
It sounds more like something else. More like one...
"If you see..." It was a name he knew.
...Long...
A name that meant something to him.
...Recorder note.*
Yes, the Lurker has responded to Julian, this is what I want.
If you see Tom Troughton, tell him I said 'Good day'.
*YG looks to the brick. It is rapidly blurring out of view because tears are blinding him. He runs back toward it, swings his club, and -
Even by the standards of the Knightmare Realm, what happens next is destined to take a place in legend.*
[OOC: 'Time out' on this thread until the next Moderator post...]

*The moment Young Grimwolds club conected with the brick a series of strange things happend with in meer moments of each other. First the sound of the recorder faded to be replaced by a strange noise that seemed to echo loadly around the group.*
*It was a cross between the sound of metal bending and the sound of glass shatering.....imediatly after this the brick.*
*Next the brick itself began to crack with numorus little hairline cracks appering all over it running the lenth and bredth of it untill they all joined up. Then there was what could best be described as an explosion...all though no noise was heard as the "brick" sundely flew appart with a great rush of air sweeping past the entier group.*
*For a few seconds...no more their remaind in the place were the brick had once been a small brick shaped bar of bright white light....But quickly it began to expand and loose its shape...now free of its confinement it surged outwards...*
*Left, right, upwards, downwards, north, south, east and west....any way it could go that it could move it surged out some of it swamping the group other parts moveing with great speed to the hevens while others fell back earthwards into the town....*
*In the midsit of this no one noticed two other bizzar hapanings takeing place.....one was that one of the pulses of light, which seemed to be thicker in shape then the others shot skywards but vered off and headed towards dunfall.*
*The other thing was that the mysterious "Lurker" had begun to walk forward from the allyway in which he had been standing...towards the group but as he had done so he had slowly faded from view.*
*More and more of the strange light poured forth in a seemingly endless flow swriling around the group.....as if serching for someone.*

'Well now!' said Edward, watching the fantastic light display flashing before the group. 'There's a sight and no mistake!'
'Certainly did something, giving that brick a wallop,' agreed Julian. 'Only hope it was the right sort of something...'

Oh... *The swirls of light - some determined in their flights, others darting with derangement - remind Young Grimwold of* ...Bumble Bees. *One of the 'light bees' brushes his shoulder. He glows white and then the next moment he isn't there.* [OOC: Even though it may take a while to post and narrate it all (what's new? ), all this is happening very quickly. If it were drawn-out enough for characters to run away or think it over in depth, things would get difficult to manage!]
