[ModNote: Continued from Sewer Snakes.] *Hydrass and Karn moved onwards towards there goal. Although Hydrass knew by now that Lord Fear had beaten them to it. He was reading himself for conflict and was deathly silent as he prepeard for his first major combat in over 2 centuries.* |

Lord Fear moved down the Tower knowing which room he would be heading to, knowing that this would be his first major battle in a long period of time, he was not going to go down easily to these Serpents.
He feet echoing down the corridors as he continued walking, knowing he was now on the same floor as the treasure.

*Hydrass was so deep in iner relfection that he didn't notcie at first when the staff of Kar started to hum in a low mencing tone. However the sound soon broke threw to his mind and was registerd. He stoped and rasied the staff and looked into the gold seprent heads eyes. He saw a group of people standing in the grounds of a some what delabidated building. He didn't know who they were but he senced they possed a threat to him.* [OOC: The staff is shwoing him Tom and his freinds it has registered them as a threat due to Tom's latent Alzan powers & Julia's new powersas well as there serch for info on the Coils Of Kar.] "An annoying inconveniance, easily delt with." *Hydrass began to weave some Snake magic* "All That Slithers and all That creeps. All whos blood runs cold as Ice. Come forth your master comands. Summon the Serpents Of the air strike with haste and seal my enimes fate."*From somewere outside of The tower there is the sound of beating wings once more but this time it is acompanied by a loud menacing hissing sound. It sounds like a thousand Snakes hissing angerily at a predator. The sound echos threw the Tower reaching even Lord Fear.* |

Lord Fear turned around with an instant hearing the new pair of wings, suspicous about it at first before shrugging his shoulders forgetting about it, thinking Firestorm of Marblehead had decided to flap his wings and the slithering of the snake belonging to those Serpents to intimadate him.
With that he continued down the corridors arriving at the location of where the treasure the Serpent Men were seeking he unlocked the door with a twirl of his fingers, walking in to start searching for it.

*Hydrass and Karn approched the Treshure room. They saw the open door and realised they had been beaten to the prize.*
"A change of plan is rquired Karn. To the shadows and quickly."
*Hydrass hissed. quitatly.*
"We'll let the techno sourcera do the serching and then when he ermerges we'll claim our propety."

Lord Fear searched the room high and low for the treasure, after several long minutes of trying to find it, he found a box with a golden Serpent on it, he opened it to find some cloth with he unwrathled to reveal what he and the Serpents were searching for.
"This is it?" said Fear to himself holding it in his hands, "I expected something more modern, but with these Serpents they're probaly to thick to think what modern means."
With that Fear placed the staff piece back in the cloth wrapping it again and placing it in the box. With that now under his arm he turned and left, but he sense something wrong was going on, he unseathed his sword and exited the room.

*Hydrass watched Fear ermerge from the chamber and set off down the passage way. He steped out of the shadows and said loud and clearly.*
"Excuse me your Lordship. But I do belive you are carrying on your person an item that is the rightfull propety of the Coils Of Kar. If you would be so greauios to just hand it over. We can depart with out any unplesentys."
*Hydrass said in a calm but decidely deadly tone. In his mind he readyed a spell.*

"You seem to have me at a disadvantage, you know who I am yet I don't know who you are or your associate for the matter." said Fear grasping his sword, "Also, I do not see a reason why I should give you what is in my posseson, old thing, after all you have trepassed on my property, and I don't take kindly to that or threats!"

"I? I am Hydrass, King Of The Serpent People, High Priest of The Coils Of Kar, Knight Of The Order Of The Viper and anointed representative in this realm of The Great Serpent himself, The Great, Glorius and magnificat Kar."
"And my assochiate is my Senashal Serpent Karn Son of Viper Karn and Squier Of The Order Of The Viper."
"And you my dear Technomancer are at this point holding propety of The Great Serpent and there for propaty of The Serpent Men. And if it gets into a debate about tresspasing what egsactly do you call building this Tower on top of The Grey Sisters home?"
*with a callous sneer*
"Not that that realy concerns me. I was planning to devour that trechours Hag Greystagg anyway, this just meens she'll be harder to find. Now the sepeter."
*Holds out his hand while he puts the finishing touches to his spell.*

"Oh, very well, you can have what you came here for." said Fear handing over the box to Hydrass before turning and leaving slowly, a smirk on his face and his eyes twinkling as Serpent raised his eye brow in confusion.

"Cute Parlour trick Fear! Now lest see hoiw you handle real magic."
*Hydrass complted his spell. and a Green Fire Ball apperd in his hand. He hurled the flameing green mass directly at Lord Fear.*

Lord Fear heard the Fire Ball approach him fast, he quickly turned around and cancelled it out with a Fire Ball of his own.
"Nice try King, but unfortunatly I won't be felled by a Fire Ball, why don't you send your lackey after me hey? He looks hungry for a fight with me." said Fear gesturing to Serpent.
"I'll tear you apart Ssssorceror" slithered Karn angirly. "Nobody makessss a fool of King Hydrasssss
"Isssss that ssssso?" slithed Fear mocking Serpent

*Hydrass face begame like thunder.*
"Yesssssssssssss That issssssssss ssssssssssssssso Lord Fear asssssssssssssssssss you will sssssssssssoon learn."
*Hydrass' whole uper torso sudernly seemed to warp and twist right in front of Lord Fears eyes. and in a few moments Lord Fear wasn't looking at a humanoind looking being. But insted ther ein front of him stood. a horendus hybrid creature.*
*From the waist down it was human but from the waits up, where ther had once been Hydrass's body was now a slithering, hissing mass f angre snakes 12 Large Snakes in fact. The middel one was largets and seemed to have a crest on its head that resembeld a crown.*
"Beyhold Mortal. The true form of Hydrasssssssss King of Ssssssssssserpentssssss. Know me and Perisssssssssssssssh."
*Some of the snake heads now reaed back and spat some venom at Lord Fear.*

"Oh, that was beautiful" whispered Lord Fear as he saw Hydrass transform, then coming to face the 12 serpents. his eyebrows raised, "I take that back, it's more ugly then Slyvester Hands... I take that back, almost as ugly as Hands."
Then as the Venom fastly approached him, Lord F's eyes glowed red as he lifted his free right hand and allowed the venom to hit an invisable wall seemling freezing is mid air. "As I said this is my property, made of the pure energies of Technomagic... my speciality old thing."
With the Scepter piece grasped in his left hand, his sword now seathed Lord Fear stared down Hydrass, all the while not knowing Serpent Karn was sneaking up behind the Opposition Leader.

*Un-known to either Hydrass or Lord Fear as a result of both the ammount of SNkae Magic and Technomagic being used in such a confined space it was makeing the air thick with magic residue and this residue was seeping down into the sewers of Goth makeing a very unusal and highly charged atmospher down there.*
*Hydrass laughed at this a hedius mixture of a human lagugh and a snakes hiss.*
"That may be Lord Fear but you have never dealt with Ssssssssssnake Magic!!"
"Sssssssssspelll Casssssting!"
"K....I....L....L...E.....R.....S....N...A....K...E"
*There was a flash of green light and there before Lord Fear now stood a towering phantom Snake that glowed an erier green and had menecing fangs and 2 piggy eyes that were looking directly at him with greed in there eyes.*
