* The somewhat depleted party makes its way out of the dungeons, discovering the unconscious Brinkatore along the way, waking him up with some difficulty and getting him to tag along. When they reach Lord Fear's throne room, Hands rather apprehensively breaks the news: *
Your Lordship, there's a...thing in Marble'ead, only I think it's gone now...it killed a mire-man and a mire-trog and smashed two skelethings. And, er, [indicating Brinkatore] 'e let the prisoners get away. I'd've stopped them if this...thing 'adn't stopped me.
