[ModNote: Continued from Room 2.] *...down an alleyway between the carpenter's store and a broken down house, screams can be heard echoing off the walls. The sound of tearing material is heard, masculine laughter and the crack of beatings...*

[ModNote: Continued from Outside Ida's hut.] *On top of a small hill just outside Wolfenden, Brother Strange stands, still and silent, facing the village. Far too far from the alley for any noise to carry there, the hill is peaceful, with a beautiful view of the sleeping village below.* *But Brother Strange does not see the tranquil hillside or the village. He sees another landscape, similar in shape but somehow different, semi-transparent; glowing white in places, and iredeemably dark in others.* *On this landscape, the run down alley is dark as the void, and it is the epicentre of a storm. Not a normal earthly storm of wind and rain, but a storm of anger, hate, pain and fear, emotions beating out in waves, lashing at him and at the other spirits he sees around him.* *Grief pours down upon the silent watcher like rain, while pain flashes like lightning between the alley and the skies.* *Part of Brother Strange wants to go down there. To stop the pain, to extinguish the grief, to lay the tortured soul to rest. But he knows that it cannot be so. Even if he could survive the epicentre of that storm, his limited powers could never calm it.* *So all the rest of the night, Brother Strange kept his silent vigil, observing a tragedy that only he could see, with eyes that could not close, and a mind that could not hide itself in sleep or flee across the dreamscape.*

*A terrified scream, sounding three times louder that it should have done, rips acros the rooftops of the village, waknig children in their beds and extinguishing fires in hearths within the second. There is a cracking sound, and...strangely...Brother Strange can see the sound in the disturbed air...*

*If anyone were watching Brother Stranger, as he stood on the silent hilltop, they would see him suddenly stagger back as if struck a blow, just as a faint scream can be heard from the village below. For a moment, in the shadowy depths of his hood, the eyes of Brother Strange seem to glow white, then he straightens up and everything is as it was before, a silent stranger stood, statue-like, on a dark and silent hill.* *In the spirit world, where Brother Strange was and yet was not standing, the scream seemed to manifest as a physical presence, which almost knocked the spirit form of Brother Strange to the ground. There was a crack, somewhat like the sound of lightning, yet also like a heavy blow to a helpless girl. The storm of emotion was reaching its apex.* [ModNote: Continued, for Brother Strange, on The Dunn Hill.]

*Even as far away from the village as Tom is talking to Rob, sensertive as he is to his suroundings as anyone who wanders is and especialy someone as kind harted and benvolant as Tom is, Even there the distubens chills him.* *One side of him wishes to reach out and comfort the tormented soal, But he knows that due to his limeted experiance in magic he is unable to do just that, He can't see clearly but a terrabile image keeps running befor his eyes.* *Rob at times asks him if he is alright and he replies in the posetive, but The disturbens is affecting the magican, for he can not shut out Tzigane's anguish from his mind anymore then Brother Strange.* *The scream that sent Brother Strange realing makes Tom feel like someone has taken a white hot poker and thrust it in to his very soal his face unseen by Rob contorts with pain for the duration of the scream.*

* Bu the Dunnfalls, Ursula draws in her breath sharply as she too feels the emotional disturbance and pain. She feels a powerful urge to find the source of the pain and heal it, and promises herself that she will follow the pain to it's source next time she feels it*

(OOC: The reason Rob cannot feel these things at the moment is 2 things, a) he had done a blocking spell to block spiritual influences when Brother Strange sent a spirit to follow him (he didnt realise it was Strange's spirit. b) One of his rings prevents him from the un natural and spiritual.)

It's all quite interesting really.
Tzigane carries out her private anguish of remembance, Brother Strange feels it as a vast storm on the spirt world because of his weirdness and not-quite-humanity. I write this to partly illustrate his wierdness and not-quite-humanity, and suddenly most of the rest of the KM characters can feel it, and RingmasterRob feels the need to make excuses why he can't!
So much for illustrating Brother Strange's unique vision and standpoint, then....

Surely if she is a world of darkness Gurahl then she can not only see into the Spirit World (also called the Umbra), but go there as well? I known most WOD werecreatures can.

(OOC: Yes, but I decided to remove her ability to sidestep into the Umbra, since I think she's a tad overpowered as it is. She can sense the presence of spirits, but that's about it. Gurahl need a special Rite to step sideways anyway...
Hey, if you're familiar with WoD, does that mean I can spout WoD-related gibberish at you? ;D)
