*Leytan takes a moment or two to find his balance. He looks up at The Dragon and shrugs his shoulders.*
"Well there's more room to move about down here then up there anyway."
*He smirks at Wren. Then notices Lady Mercury standing away from them. He winces as he remembers how sharp he was with her. He looks again at Wren to make sure he is as ok and as comfortable as it was possible to be given the circumstances. Satisfied that Wren was ok he moved towards Lady M.*
*He moves as close to her as he dared he didn't want to corwd her and also his equilibriam still hadn't ajusted fully to the sudden lift off and change of situation, so he didn't dare move any further along the branch. In truth he looked some what comica and obviusly out of his comfort zone being in this situation.*
"Are you Ok Isabel??"
*He asked.*
"I'm sorry for snapping at you back there. I was as much to blame if not more so i was the one doing the climbing not you i should have climed faster."

'I am going to open my eyes in five seconds' Wren began, his voice betraying no signs of obvious distress. 'And when I open them, I will be relieved to see that what I THINK has just happened was all the product of an overworked imagination.'
Wren opened his eyes. Leaves flew by at impossible speed, and his satchel bashed against his side in a way that suggested they were moving very fast in one direction.
'Alright. I think I'm going to save a lot of time and just go mad right here and now. Would everyone be okay with that?'

*Lady Mercury glanced over at Wren*
"You could go mad, but i doubt it'd help much, you'd still be flying along, carried by a dragon, or perhaps you could pretend you;re still on solid ground, and this is all a dream."
*As she spoke, the blank expression on her face remained until she turned to face Leytan, then it slipped for a second, the came back as quickly as it had slipped and she turned away, gazing over the rapidly passing skies*
"I'm fine, just tired....." She said quietly "And you were right, I shouldn't have delayed our departure with meaningless words..."

*... and as if on cue, a voice from a above (addressed to no-one in particular) accompanied by an offered Paw.*
... And now We know what happens when travellers decide that chasing Squirrels and pondering their very existence is more important than shifting their tails!
You 3 OK down there? Ye better come up and settle, that tree is slowing the Dragon down and She might just drop the thing.

*Leytan looks round and starts makeing his way over to the paw as he dose so he again tries to not louse his balance and plumett to earth. In doing so his hand brushes over the hild of one of the knives staped to his wait and he momenterly consideres the possability of retaliation for nearly being left behind...but decideds aginst it since he knows it was their own fault.*
"We're comeing..."
*Looks at Wren...*
"Ermmm Wren's comeing up first the lad looks like he's about to have a complet mental break down."
*Gestures for Wren to grab hold of the profferd paw.*
"Go on Wren mabey being up on the actual Dragon will calm thouse nerves down some what."

*Lady Mercury nodded whilst looking away from the group*
"I'm more accustomed to this method of transport, I think you should follow Wren, Leytan, and I'll follow on after you"

'All right,' said Wren through gritted teeth, trying to ignore Coriolis's caustic remarks and Leytan's description of him having a mental breakdown. 'I'm coming up.'
He shimmied along the branch carefully and, reaching the trunk, began to climb upwards. His hand had gone completly numb now, which he knew was never a good sign. If he wasn't quick about it, there was the risk that it would become completly unresponsive. He would have to make do with the tools he had in his satchel for a impromptu repair, but even with what he had available to him it would still need some serious work before he could rely on it again. He hoped that Winteria would have access to a decent ironmonger.
Taking a deep breath, he began to climb upwards towards the dragon. His good hand gripped the bark tightly. The beating of the dragon's wings were causing some serious downward gusts, and more than once he almost felt he was going to be swept off completly. Finally he reached as far as the tree would go, just shy of the creature's flank.
'Some assistance?' he shouted over the deafening winds, reaching out his good hand towards the Watchers.

*The Tiger quickly shimmied back towards Wren. His movements had a certain grace but it was apparent that Coriolis wasn't enjoying being up there either. He reached down toward Wren but couldn't quite get down far enough to grab the assasin and pull him up. Then circumstances, as they had so often done recently, took matters into their own hands.* *It wasn't clear if the Dragon was being malicious or if they had simply hit an air pocket in the sky but Dragon, tree and all passengers lurched downwards for a moment before labouring back into the blue once more. It was at this same instant that Coriolis missed Wrens arm completely. The dinner plate sized white paw swung wildly, grabbed Him by the scruff of the neck and started hauling him up.* *One deposited assasin later and the paw is offered below again. The call becoming urgent as the sound of claws scraping over bark worked it's way up to various ears.* MOVE IT OR LOSE IT! That tree ain't staying with us!

*Lady Mercury glanced up to where Coriolis was standing and shook her head to clear it as she came away from the edge, after feeling the tree shake beneath her. She came up beside Leytan and then gave him a shove towards Coriolis' outstretched paw*
"You go first, after all, it;s age before beauty!" She said with a cheerful smile, sounding more like herself as she pushed him gently to the waiting watcher*

*Leytan had, unknowticed by Lady Mercury, shut his eyes tight as the Tree had started swaying and clasped at what ever he could to prevent himself falling.*
"Don't look down, don't look down."
*He said under his breath.*
"Controle it don't let it show, keep it chained up down in your mind were it belongs."
*He continued. He felt Lady M's gently push and his mind told him to move, but his body reffused at first. then he tentivly tried to walk as his mind regain some controle of his mussles.*
"Your just on the deck of a ship, thats all, the swaying is just the ship rocking in the water. Just don't look down and keep that stupied emotion locked inside and you'll be fine."
*He said out loud.*

*Lady Mercury glanced over at Leytan, registering his terror*
"Oops, forgot you're not keen on heights!! Must've been all those towers you climbed to rescue fair maidens!" She said with a grin, trying to distract him from his own thoughts, and move him towards Coriolis
*She glanced across to where Coriolis was waiting as they approached his outstretched paw*
"I think he's going to need help getting up there" She said quietly as she steadied Leytan

*There really wasn't much further that Coriolis could move down towards them. Torn for a second, He crawled back up to Rhiannon and wedged her feet and hands in between the Dragons armour scales. Quietly praying that She'd grab on and stay there. He then moved back, the earlier grace replaced by the strong need to just END this entire mess and get back under his own power rather than Dragon.* Wren, Give me a hand Here. This is going to be both painful and precarious... *He turned around and jammed both sets of front claws underneath the scales before slowly lowering himself down by the forelegs. The Tiger hanging free above the void with His tail swinging that all important few inches closer than a paw could reach.* [*Looks down for a moment and instantly regrets it. Thinking:-] In the name of the gods! why do I do these things?!? [shouting over the noises of flight] Here's your chance fishman! grab on and climb. And DON'T forget the poor sods at the sharpend!

*Leytan shuck his head and tried despretly to surpress the growing need he felt to give into the terror that was engulfing him and find someway to hide.*
Here's your chance fishman! grab on and climb.[/b]
*Coriolis's words cut threw the turmoil in his mind for a breif few seconds....but that was all that was needed. Leytan regains his composure just enough to grasp out at Cor's tail and to start clambering upwards.*
"It may be a dragon and it may be high up but its more soild then that tree and its closer then the ground is."
*He said out loud, his voice still had the laceed edge of fear to it and his breathing was noticably irattic, as he scrambled upwards to towards the dragon and relative safty.*
"But the sooner i'm back on terra firma the happyier i'll be."

*... and with a yowl of pain accompanied by a head full of sharp gritted teeth came the reply.* The sooner you're on the Dragon and off my tail the happier I'LL be! *Having your pelt pulled out in clumps while a heavy weight swings on your tail is never likely to be a pleasant experience and it's everything the Watcher can do to stop the thoughts that He should've just let them drop.*

Clambouring over the dragon's back, Wren reached down onto his stomach and reached his good hand down towards Leytan.
'Come on squire, let's have you aboard before the cat goes ballistic' he said, grimacing between the pain.
