The general rule is, roleplay everything! Interact as much as you like, what you like, but try not to create something huge in the middle of something else. You may link scenarios if you wish. Think about your post before you submit it if it involves something new - will it confuse others? Will it seem out of place? And will it cause problems in roleplay? ADDITIONS: - Try and read old threads and posts as much as possible if you are a newcomer - it saves confusion when it comes to backgrounds, and saves others from having to explain over and over - If someone loses interest in their character, please don't just abandon him or her in the middle of the action - either wait until the end of an event, allow them to die or go away on a permanent trip, if possible.

I have to bring this one up especially with all the mistakes recently. Timelines; please be careful before posting that your character is able to be there, even magical characters cannot be in two places at once. This mistake has been made several times by different users and has become very confusing. If you want to contribute to a topic but your character cannot be there put something in OOC: brackets []. For example Storyline 1: *Paul is travelling with Jon along the riverbank when Paul falls in, Jon dives in after him in an attempt to save him
Storyline 2 (at the same time): *Janet is sitting around a campfire crying, she is alone* Paul could not then post; *Paul comes to comfort her* unless he says something like *He is clearly wet and miserable after being pulled out of a river by Jon*

Thanks for the compliments ;D Just to clear one thing up, I am not posting that to have a go at anyone who has been confusing timelines but to make sure it is clear.
