Greetings, Well, well, what a lawless place this is. It seems that since the rules of the great challenge broke down this town has fallen into a state of considerable chaos. Beggars line the streets. Thieves and assasins skulk in the shadows. Even the traders cannot often be trusted... This will end. My name is Locksley. Perhaps one day I will allow you to call me Sir Edmund. I doubt it though, you don't look very trustworthy. It is true I come from an aristocratic line, can you not see it in my upright carriage? I live for law and order, I am guard, magistrate, inquisitor and judge in one... Executioner? Only when necessary.... Now, if you will excuse me, I have important business to attend to... this town must be cleansed.... [OOC: Sir Edmund wears formal black attire of indeterminate period, although it suggests something vaguely Victorian without being out of place in Wolfenden. His skin is pale and he is not unattractive, with strong features and impeccably neat clothes and hair, but their is something cruel in the lines of the face. He appears no more than thirty, but bears himself as a man of greater experience. He is lawful, but not a good man. Indeed those who come to know him will discover that his desire for order borders on the pathological, and his ethics rarely prevent him from being pragmatic. There is also something.... unsettling about him. His eyes and hair are so dark as to almost be purple, and there is an air about him which feels.... wrong. Who knows what it can be?] [ModNote: Locksley's first appearance is at The Guardhouse.]

Hmmm... you appear like you'd get along well with Brinkatore. Careful about keeping your nose so high in the air... you might trip.
OOC: Welcom, hope you have fun.

*To Midnight*
Many thanks young lady, but I have long since abandoned the concept of luck. Too unreliable, and far too random.
*To Phinehas*
I shall certainly be investigating the count, although rest assured his nobility will not prevent my discresion. And I should warn you that creatures who walk the night are rarely trustworthy in my opinion. Perhaps you have some dark secrets... Beware, I never trip.
*He doesn't speak to Hands, but he makes a mental note under 'Very suspicious character'*

[All OOC]
Indeed!
A 'Locksley' playing a 'Sheriff of Nottingham' type? Quite an Ironic juxtaposition! ;D

OOC:
Oh you haven't heard the half of it!
Let's say that no part of Locksley's name is insignificant, and that there's a lot more to him than meets the eye...

*Lord Fear smirks as he waves his hand at his Techno Screen switching it off*

Greetings, Sir. N-now, may I just say that despite my appearance, I try my best not to behave... ogrishly. I have lapses, as we all do; but I appreciate as much as you do that there is a need for violence only to be used it is carefully controlled.
I hope, furthermore, th-that a son is not held responsible for the crimes of his parents in your eyes...
Sheependen might be a more apt name for this town, I feel, as many of those around here are wolves in sheep's clothing. Good luck with your shepherding, Sir.
