[OOC: very little of this has been confirmed, most of what you have heard of Celánia is based on rumours, bar her physical appearence naturally. so you will probably have heard some of this, but only as rumours and gossip]
Celánia is a half-drow (underground elf). As a result, she has dark skin and silvery hair which is usually held back into a spidery plait that crawls down her spine to a spiky finish. She is almost always wearing black armour and carries two dark shortswords (although whether they have a glamour thrown over them to create this effect or are actually made of highly sought-after obsidian is unknown). She is reasonably well-armoured and looks like she could hold her own in a fight.
Cel (to save me having to write the accent repeatedly) is known as an expert on both the applications and cures to poisons. Due to her extensive work in this area, and naturally resistant heritage, she is all but immune to most common poisons. A lot of her work is clerical, however when the poison act of 554 was passed, she had to go undercover with a lot of her work. A lot of people would consider her a cleric/thief, possibly with assassin leanings.
In reality, Cel is a fang of ariadne. She believes spiders to be sacred and would give her life to protect Ariadne or other large spiders.
[OOC: this part is mostly kept secret, you will have heard maybe a vague rumour at most]
Recently, she has taken part in a ritual to take on spider-like characteristics. Details of the ritual may be spread later, but the most important (and gossip-worthy) bit was the grafting of a spider's fang to her own body. It is unknown whether she did this for religous reasons or for an increase in power.
Cel is incredibly passionate about many things. A recent rumour around the taverns speculated on how she had slit a beggar's throat in the greenwood, because he had pulled all of a spider's legs off and was laughing at it's misery.
Cel is an original character, but is loosely based on a more evil version of Elita (spider-keeper instead of dragon, some elven heritage, not opposed to taking things for her own purposes).
[ModNote: Celánia first appears in Twilight at the Winter Solstice. You can read about the inspiration behind the character here.]
