I could use some help translating some D&D stuff (Like spells, fumbles [critical failures...I just say fumble lol], criticals, etc.). Some spells I am not sure how to roleplay, such as Prismatic Sphere (Yes, Addis has that overpowered spell lol.), True Strike, and some others that aren't coming to mind yet lol. I just recently started a campaign in D&D 3.5, but I usually use my dad's "House Rules" (He merged alot of games like D&D 3.5, Werewolf: The Wild West, Vampire: The Masqurade, Shadowrun, Crimson Cutlass, and Warhammer.) I mean, how I would roleplay it.
Take for example, Power Word: Kill. That one is easy (Let's assume I was Addis at the moment lol)
*Addis raised his right hand outward, a clawed finger pointing at (enter name here)'s chest. He then hissed a single word*
"Die."
Kinda like that. Another spell I have a hard time with, Stone Skin.

Lol, I'll just use this for general forum-to-D&D and vice versa questions lol....like this one I found a pretty awesome online character generator: www.pathguy.com/cg35.htmI figure, since the versions of Addis and Flaccus I'm currently using may be considered overpowered (doesn't seem so at the moment, but I gave them disadvantages at the time lol...and well placed/timed attacks are effective XD) when compared to traditional D&D 3.5 rules, I might as well re-create them, with these rules. While loading up the site, I came accross a problem (which is the reason for this long post lol) Which level should I make the two? Addis is a higher level then Flaccus, I know that much. Aurak Draconians (Addis) must have 8 ranks in Dragon (1D12 Hitpoints per lvl) while Sivak Draconians (Flaccus) must have at least 6 ranks in Dragon (also 1D12). I need to know what you D&D players would guess the average level for this forum's characters would be lol. If not, I can go with the origional Epic Levels....lol |

Didn't even know there was a convention on!
Probably the best way to RP the various spells is to maybe ignore the stats to a small degree and read up on the source books descriptions of what would happen. They were obviously written up to represent a certain event so figuring out what the authors had in mind and going from there would be your best bet.
