((OOC: Tasty? Did YG ever eat an electronic bat? Taking a byte, perhaps?))
I... I don't think I've ever eaten a bat... living in the forest, I prefer berries, although nothing beats a good meal in one of the inns.

[OOC: Grimwold Senior caught the bats, Mrs. Grimwold cooked them. Festus was the one she did gourmet cuisine for ] I can't say I've experienced much in the way of good food. In the Dungeon, we ate what we could catch. Ever so annoying how the dungeoneers had fresh food left out for them - we weren't allowed to touch it. My father once caught a dungeoneer, but the Dungeon Master spirited her out of the Dungeon. N-not that I would have eaten her, but it was one good way to keep a short-tempered ogre short-tempered. Later I lived in a monastery for a bit - but not as a monk. They made their own cheese, Duncurdle, and grew their own vegetables, but it all tasted rather plain. Then I was at sea for some time. It was very hard to catch seafood, and the ship's rations always tasted stale. Perhaps picking a cursed galleon to serve on was a poor move on my part. I normally go home to eat, so I haven't had much experience of eating in town. The food's good, you say?

*Me feels hungry.*
Oh yes. A lot better than any home-cooked grub. Where is your home, anyway? Do you still have residence in the Dungeon?
As for the village, well, the Crazed Heifer tends to specialise in drinks, but the other one, the Wolf's Howl... they do some very good food. If you're in the mood for tuck, then we could go there. It's better than merely getting drunk!

When I left the Dungeon to ge... to go travelling, my family was still based there. Then I received word that our pet, Festus, had gone missing. I'm supposed to be keeping my eye out for Festus, actually. My mother was distraught, and insisted on moving out of the Dungeon, to get over the loss. We now have a house just outside Wolfenden, towards the Rocks of Bruin. There are relatives scattered all over - some near Dungarth, a few still in the Dungeon. I think about visiting the Dungeon again sometimes, to see how it's changed. But no. No... best I don't go back there.
The Wolf's Howl Inn. Yes, I gather that it's the best place for a good meal. But last I heard, the gentleman who took it over, Redmun, was murdered. If there's still death in the air when we get there, then I'd rather eat dirt.

I'd rather not eat death, myself!

*Young Grimwold and Robin walk on, falling quiet. YG becomes a little lost in his own thoughts, and assumes that the same is happening to Robin. Soon, they reach Wolfenden, and pick up speed as they pass among the buildings, YG feeling quite ready to get out of the open air, and both of them eager to reach the inn and wolf down some food...* [OOC: Continued in 'Hungry Like The Wolf']
