At long last I return. :-)
Thanks Sis for posting that post about my computr dieing on me. However I now have a new computer and at last I have found all my passwords for my accounts here so I should now be back in the game (or maby I should say Quest) again here on Surounds.

OOC: Firstly, my apologies for the delay in posting, I got a little side tracked with another site I joined recently, and the fact I've not been online much. This weekend was due to attending Frightfest 2010  Mainly though, it's because time is flying these days, I don't know where it goes, lol We can't complain: after all, if it weren't for you there'd have been no posts last month at all! I wish I understood more about why others aren't posting, but if I put pressure on people to explain themselves, or to post more, then this stops being a place of fun. I just don't like seeing the forum like this, with characters in limbo waiting months for other characters to post. Would it be better to put Surrounds to sleep, I wonder. For now, I can only reiterate what I've said before: if your character has stalled for whatever reason and you think that the Mods and I can help, please let us know. Anyway, how was Frightfest? Did you see Hugo Myatt's film? |

Well, to be fair, if I'd posted earlier, people might have responded earlier  I do know what you mean, we can't make people post here, though it is sad to see Surrounds so silent these days  I have been lurking on the site, without logging in, and possibly others have done that as well... Frightfest was awesome  I did see the film with Hugo Myatt, though I may have been one of the few people to recognise him The film was Dead Cert, it's a little generic, but a fun film One of the highlights for me was seeing an unseen trailer for the new Walking Dead series, it looks good As was Alien Vs Ninja Title says it all A really good film I saw there was Burning Bright, that one was one of my favourites really atmospheric I wasn't so keen on the shots from the next Human Centipede film though, lol! Also good was the documentary about video nasties, well put together and very informative |

Lady M has been in touch to let me know that life has, in its usual twisted way, been getting between her and Surrounds, but that she intends to be back in the next week or so. Overseeing this forum is a lot easier and more enjoyable when absentees are decent enough to communicate with me like this.

You're welcome: I'm pleased to keep you in the loop. I won't go into details - I'll leave that to Lady M if/when she chooses - but I know she is sincerely sorry that circumstances have kept her from the forum. I hope that makes the wait a bit easier. |

Hey, the Current "Family Gatherings" thread started 1st July 2009. That's almost 3 YEARS ago. We're well past "waiting" now...  surrounds.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sandstone&action=display&thread=713I'm just as guilty of leaving it for a while as others, so it's only fair. So long as there's a slow trickle and things don't stop dead completely. We're actually not too far away from finishing the current dance and moving on to the next. It'll be nice when the eventual change of scene happens. |

I have managedto get intouch with the player behind Leytan. He sends his deepest apologies about his absense but things have been extremely chaotic atwork. He hopes to be able to post within the next week and hopefully return properly in the next few weeks.
