*The scene now changes to show a monk dressed in simple brown robes. He sits at an altar of sorts in front of a class of children, the ages range from 5 year olds right up to young Acolytes. In the background through a window, 2 of these Acolytes are engaged in a lightning fast sparring match with staves...*
*Moving on... Another Acolyte is carefully swirling a potion bottle above a small fire, The contents bubbling fiercly. He suddenly throws it into a blackened corner of the room. The frame shows a close-up of his face. The maniacal grin lit up with a flash of orange-red light...*

* Yet again the scene changes.*
Voiceover: The Zaans on the outside seemed to be progressing tremondously, but underneath the surface of happy faces. There was a growing feeling of dispute and anger as two fractions began to emerge within the Zaans.
*The scene is in a large room. Two Teachers stand before a group of of students. Debateing over which is better war and conquering or peace and learning. Though the debate is meant to be part of the groups educations there was so much more to it........*

*One of them is dressed in flowing White robes, Alchemists equipment decks the wall behind him. The teachers eyes are lit up in the zeal of his labours...*
'Science' Master :- It is proven that the Zaan mind is atrophied beyond it's natural progression! We must redress the balance and regain our place amongst the gods!
*He holds up another potion bottle to the collective oohs and aahs of his audience*
'Science' master :- Our genetic structure must be bolstered! Our diversity will be the death of our race!

*The other Teacher dressed in more natural colours looks at the science teacher. With distaste in his eyes that wasn't seen by the students*
Studies Teacher: Maybe to you but with it our race will be doomed beyond control. We may survive but we will have blood on our hands. We will have the death of races on us. The death of cultures, can you not see that you choose a more dangerous path?
*Both teachers seem to notice the sudden silence of the room. Looking up they realise more has been said than should of done. Both in unision.*
Class dismissed...
*The students got up from their desks and quickly walked out of the room.*
Voiceover: This was just the begining of a terrible time for the Zaans. In the end they would never be the same again.....

*back in the audience: Coriolis nudges Midnight, urgently but trying to be discrete.* [Whisper] I know him! The guy in the greens... But I don't know where I've seen him... The Nutter with the chemicals seems familiar as well but don't ask me for a name!

*Midnight turns to face Coriolis just a touch enough to make slight eye contact with which she rolls her eyes.*
*Whispered* Any body would think it was you that suffered from the blackwall of a memory for years. If you don't reconise the man in green I'm not telling you. As for the other well I have no idea....
*The film continues....then seems to speed up slightly. The next scene shows a courtyard filled with people. Two groups are clearly visable. One dressed in white and the other in green and browns.*
Voiceover: Over time the dispute grew and could no longer be hidden. The two fractions became more and more open about their beliefs. Causing rows, fights and distruction. It soon came apparent afterwards that the two sides could no longer live with each other. Though all the same race it was time for them to go their own ways but not before Civil War had broken out
*There is a brief but bloody scene has two sides pitch wits against each other. Theres flashes of light as the white robed ones throw spells against the others and faint glows of light here and there as gentle magic is used but can be just as deadly.....*

*The Voiceover continues each reference accompanied with a flash of the mentioned Victim...*
The Alzan’s soon began wars of conquest as their thirst for knowledge was replaced by a thirst for more power. The brilliant minds of The Alzan Scientists were turned to creating deadly weapons.
These Included The Alzan 'Assassins'.
*A vaguely humanoid shape held in a liquid filled tube, completely Jet black from head to foot.*
A Sub-Breed of The Alzan race that was neither fully Alive or a Weapon. Its only function was to kill. Also there were other Genetic experiments including one that turned Sea Weed in to a deadly mind-controlling parasite. Deadly Plagues were developed and many other foul weapons of mass destruction found their way into misguided hands.
Races such as The Skazans, The Olthars, The Timaz and many others were conquered and obliterated by The Alzan’s and a furious and bloody war waged against The Watchers. Alzan agents also infiltrated The Atlantis civilisation but a Diplomatic treaty prevented any war between the 2.
Once a race was defeated its culture and history was absorbed in to The Alzan one and the remaining survivors were themselves turned in to Alzans by the genetic experimentation of their conquerors...

Midnight looks up to the film in a startled expression.* Hold on that can't be right. What's he talking about the Alzans for?? Zeph can you rewind a little bit please I must be missing something.... *But before Zeph can do anything the scene changes yet again..* Voiceover: Now the Watchers the other group from the Zaans though being bloodkin to the Alzans grew with hatred in their hearts. Not helped by the wars the Alzans raged against their own brothers and sisters..... *Midnight puts a hand to her mouth....* Oh my gods..... *The voiceover and film continues. Now a scene of a young Monastery appears..with a now reconisable Master Kaylo. People are building a new home.* Voiceover: Thw Watchers are a much more gentle people but don't be fooled. They can fight as well as the Alzans. They teach their children from a young age how to fight but also teach the art of research. They travel through time looking into the past and learning. They learnt magic and the ability to shape-shift.. *A brief scene appears of Master Kaylo turning into a eagle and flying high.... Voiceover: But even these people made something destrucive.....

*An object that both Watchers recognise instantly appears on the screen. Blue/Red/Green and banded with Gold. 3 chain loops attached at various points along it's top. Silver to Sapphire, Gold to Jade, Bronze to Ruby....*
[VO] Using magic 'stolen' from their divorced brethren, the 'Tricolor Jewel' had the power to destroy worlds and decimate all before it. It was the only thing that would guarantee 'peace' for the Watchers. The Ironic threat of oblivion....

*Midnight gently feels the necklace around her neck.* We...well I was never told this.... *Looks to Coriolis and back to the screen.* Voiceover: That wasn't the only thing they created but by far the worse or so they thought. * A scene appears with a group of Watchers surrounding what appears to be a statue. That to Midnight and Coriolis look very familiar to Hakonatu...too familar. Though the the metal is brand new.* Master Kaylo: Are you sure he'll be able to protect the jewel? We can't risk it being stolen. If it is we will be destroyed by the Alzans. Head Creator: Yes Master Kaylo most definatly. *The eyes on the creature open slowly he looks at the people surrounding him.* Voiceover: It wasn't long after this that the creature called Hakonatu did the one thing it wasn't meant to do. Steal the jewel for it self. Almost managing to do so once...but was luckily stopped from doing so, but he was too strong for the Watchers too to kill. He was trapped but managed to escape his prison and go on and not seen again. But he however was just made to protect the Jewel for a while.....

*An overhead 'helicopter' shot appears of a forest clearing. A massive number of people have formed a ring around 2 much smaller figures in the centre. Also, standing a noticeable distance away, are another pair. They seem visible but mildly invisible as well...* [from the audience] What in the gods name?!? [VO] 2 of the brightest and boldest among the Order were chosen as custodians to that power... Their skills...... but above all their purity was needed to keep the jewel away from corruption.

*Tom has not been paying any attension since the startaling revalation of The Alzan's and Watchers all haveing desended from the same race, The Zaans.*
"But how did I not know this???"
*He thought.*
"Surely I would have remembered I did well in my History lessons at school and yet I have no memory of this monumentla fact??"
"However my attempts to remove my Alzan heratigeg from my own genetic make up may be responibal. I have messed about with my own DNA so much, I may have destryoed or whiped some of my memories out."

"Hmmm, this stuff will make for a great philisopical debate, and also a good book."
*Malark menwhile had been stareing intently at the Film. Not that he understood the more complex issues it was rasieing. He as alwasy was seeing things threw his innocent child like eyes to him this was a very entertaing film. He was seeing this as like a good noval that you can't put down once you have read the forst few chapaters. It wasn't realy it was fiction.*

Voiceover: These two were long awaited for. They were named the Protectors and when deemed old enough to be told the truth they would be...they would.....
*All of a sudden a smell of something burning begins to fill the room. The screen in front of them begins to change but as it does so a hole begins to appear in it, it starts off very small than rather quickly gets bigger, the projector turns orange as the fire grows in strength. Almost as one the group seem to jump up at it....*

*A bucket of mop water, left in case of a reoccurence of 'Coriolis Syndrome', comes to the rescue. The deluge flies toward the camera, scores a glancing blow and soaks it's operator almost as quickly as it turns the fire into ash.* *Poor Zeriphel is left soaked to the skin, and smelling faintly of scorched Sepia...... [You ever seen a Persian Cat in the rain? ] *
