*Looks up from where she is.*
No I think town is too dangerous. When that thing realises were not at the school or where it's going it'll track us down. Taking it to town would endanger more people. We have to find somewhere quiet and hidden away. We also have to contact RMR and inform him of what's happened.

*Tom wanders over to Corlius and Midnight.*
"What we got here then my dear chap and chapett?"
*He looks at the old Watcher's Lore and studies it closely.*
"Hmmmmmmm.......Fasinating."

*Midnight looks up to Tom.*
Yes very but also frustrating me and Coriolis would of been taught this if things hadn't of happened. I can make out letters here and there but not enough for it to make any sense at all.
*Looks to Zeph.*
After the Race History you did is there any way you can translate this?

*Tom is still looking at the writieng.*
"Rack........Ruck???"
"I can't make proper sence of this Midnight."
"It's like Old Alzan scriptures some of the symobols are the same. But its like its Incomplet somehow. And when I do put in the missing symbols it make no senc at all."

*Zeph peers at the lines.*
All greek to me... but perhaps I can use a little magic...
Truth to tell, I rather liked the race memory thing... y'see the problem with Wild Magic is that although I can specify, roughly, the effect, I ain't got a clue what the form will be...
*Zeph concentrates again... light pours from his fingertips, runs up his arms, concentrates around the resonator and flares into a glowing ball above the the writing...*
Hmm.... a book perhaps?... Or a translation lens...?
*With a pop, a flurry of feathers, and a squark! a large red and yellow parrot appears in mid air.*
Oh, that was unexpected...
Parrot: Squark! Pieces of byte, pieces of byte!
*An instruction manual appears in Zeph's hands.*
Zeph (reading aloud): Thankyou for conjuring the Polyglot 3000 (tm). Used carefully it should give you years of trouble-free translation. Piratey ambiance an added bonus.
Oh well, look here Polyglot, set to work wot!
*Poly flaps down to the lines and reads them closely. Then it straightens up*
Poly: Squark! ....and he did not agree, but insisted that the scroll be hidden in case of future need. The other Watchers concurred, and sent it to be concealed in the Rocks of Burin on the world known as Knightmare, a world considered suitably obscure. This was not enough to please... Oh! Polly wants a pamphlet!...
*Zeph feeds Polyglot (tm) a few pages of its own instructions, and the warranty. It caws contentedly.*
Well, looks like we've got a new lead, shall we go?
*Smiles*
I say, *he pulls a number of black strings out of thin air, their ends trailing up into the sky* Shall we fly?
*In the background, they can hear the faint sounds of a choir doing warm-up exercises*

*Coriolis looks at the TOO familiar strings and the even more familiar voices.*
Zeph!! No way. I remember last time and it wasn't any fun for a petrefied tiger.
*Looks at Rhiannon.*
Even if the panther did find it funny...besides how can you be sure that that Parrot is right?!?!?!

*Midnight smiles at the memory of Coriolis coming flying through the Wolf's Howls windows. Looking at the strings herself she found the idea daunting and well from what she saw uncontrolable. Not wanting to show this to any of the others. She was eager to find what ever piece of history she could of a race that was almost unknown. Grabbing hold of one of the pieces of string she smiles at Coriolis one of her sarcastic smiles.*
Oh come on Coriolis it can't be that bad....besides if your really scared I'll hold your hand.....

*Coriolis as Rhiannon expected took the bait of rivalry and grabbed hold of one of the strings.* Well don't say I didn't warn you and no I don't want to hold your hand!! *He nodded his head ready to Zeph and held on tight to the string muttering.* Cat's are NOT meant to fly..if they did we'd have wings...

*Midnight smiled and then turned to Zeph.* I think you can safely say were ready as we'll ever be. *Midnight tightens her grip on the string as the voices begin to get louder.Thinks...* What am I letting myself in for??

Goodo! Don't worry Ja-... I say did you lie to me about your name? Oh well Coriolis, I can understand that... Anyway, hold on tight everyone.. because here we... GO!!!!! Choir: Let's go fly a kite. Up to the highest height. Let's go fly a kite and send... it... soar...ing... *Midnight, Coriolis, Tom and Zeriphel fly through the air at the base of their huge brightly coloured kites. Zeph is enjoying himself immensely. Then the wind starts to blow.* Zeph: Don't worry everyone, these kites are magical, I'm sure that they can't be blown off course. *With a huge gust, Coriolis leaves the group and in a few minutes his kite is out of sight, swallowed by the clouds.* Oh.... it's never done that before. *Brightens* But if the magic's let it happen there's probably a good reason, it's chaotic, not random! *As they look down they see the Rocks of Burin spread out beneath them.* Right, landing time! *With a flick of the wrist, Zeph lets go of the string and grabs the tail of the now stationary kite and slides down it to the ground.* [Continued, once everyone has landed, in 'The Scroll of Burin Rocks']
