*Charles shakes his hand with hearty enthusiasm*
Charles: Nice to meet you Count, or may I call you Wolfie? *a mischievous grin spreads across Charles' face, his bodyguards emerge from the trees* Ah, these fellows are my bodyguard Joss and Jozan. They are orcs, not creatures I expect you see around here often. Anyhow how are you both doing? This seems an odd spot for a social, then again the Wolf's Howl is currently closed for renovations so I suppose there's nowhere worth meeting for a drink.

*Charles points to himself*
Charles: I purchased it yesterday for a bargain price compared to the revenue it's likely to generate. I'm thinking of beginning my own enterprise here in Wolfenden you see. I hear there is quite a mix of the goodly folk and the less reputable. Not that I mind either, as long as they avoid causing me trouble and my profits stay high! My rifle and these two *indicating his bodyguards* see to any trouble. Do stop by the Wolf's Howl when it is finished Marcus, what business are you into? We might become partners or at least trading partners.

"I need to do something to restablish my familys reputation in Wolfenden and the surounding regions."
"An honest buissnes venture might be just the thing."

*Charles flashes his normal smile and then turns to Aranel who seems deep in thought*
Charles: Miss Aranel, you seem to be keeping awfully quiet. I hope that scene caused in the marketplace earlier hasn't damaged your confidence.

*Aranel looks up*
Hmm? Oh..No, I'm fine!
*Aranel looks back over to the mass of trees and scans it with her eyes*
...Just fine...I'll be back in a moment..
*Aranel stands slowly and makes her way, carefully into the trees, her hand firmly set onto her weapon*

Well, it's my honour.
*Robin draws his sword, strikes a defensive pose, and leaps out, directly into Aranel's path.*
Halt! Who goes there?

*Aranel takes a step back and holds her dagger out just infront of herself, almost squatting* *She glares carefully up at Robin*
I have no clue as to whether I am friend or foe to you. I saw a figure lurking. I have reason to believe it may have been you. Your reasoning behind your suspicious actions..?

*Robin keeps a tight grip on his sword but lowers it towards the ground.*
[slightly offended, but not a negative tone] I was not 'lurking'. I just happened to be in the forest at the time and... well... I couldn't help walking into the situation. Thought I'd better keep out of it. I've made some... [he pauses] ... dangerous enemies.
*Robin almost grins.*
So... who are you, anyway?

*Aranel smiles slightly. She swoops her dagger back into herr scabbard and sighs shortly*
You seem like an honest man, and I am willing to trust you
*Aranel smiles, she holds out her right hand* I'm Aranel. Aranel Coamneieh. I think I've seen you somewhere before...Although, I could be mistaken. I've met a lot of folk whilst wandering the woods of here there and everywhere.

*Robin smiles slightly, extending his hand to shake hers.*
Sorry if I alarmed you. It's no surprise that you recognised me. I'm Robin, guardian of the Greenwoodand figter for the Powers That Be. I... well, I live and, one might say, work, here.
*Robin pauses to consider his speech.*
So... Aranel... can I call you Aranel? I can call you Aranel, right...? so... you say you're a wanderer?

*Aranel chuckles slightly*
Yes, you can call me Aranel if you wish. And yes, I am a wanderer. Over the years I've had to learn how to fend for myself.
At the age of twelve my parents left me to my own devices and I went a little too far.. I travelled out of the village and couldn't find my way back again.
I've heard since that the village I grew up in was destroyed a little while after I left. Burned down to the ground. No good folk wanted to claim land and went too far.
I cant say I have much recollection of my home village, anyway. None of that really matters anymore.
I've gone from village to village, woodland to woodland. Roaming where I like.

You were... you were twelve? How have you survived? These are dangerous times, and this is a dangerous pla...
*Robin whips his head around to investigate the source of a sudden noise.*
Squirrel. Anyway, what was I saying? Yes, this is a dangerous place. Are you any good at defending yourself? You'd better be.
*Robin peeps out at the two cloaked figures still standing at the base of the Falls.*
Come to think of it... who are those two, anyway?
