[*Despite his battered state, Skiprazor lets a wry smirk form on his face, accompanied by that same now-obvious blue glint in his eye. He is still bothered somewhat by the suspicion of foul play regarding Julia's disappearance, but his meeting with this mysterious archmage has given him some new leads to follow.*]
"If there is but one thing you ever learn about me, master sorcerer, it is that I will never turn down the opportunity for a sup of ale."
[*He laughs, and there is a genuine warmth in his voice that seems all the more incongruous following his recent behaviour. It is the first time since their meeting that the Ringmaster has noticed anything vaguely resembling humanity about him.*]
"I have some business to take care of elsewhere first - business that is of such grave importance as to take precedence over all other things. Even such pressing matters as the acquisition of a refreshing tankard of mead. But fear not, for once I have taken care of these things and settled them to my satisfaction, I would greatly enjoy joining you in the Wolf's Howl for to quench our thirsts. I have a feeling that, after my task is accomplished, I will be in dire need of refreshment."
[*And with that, he pulls his cowl back over his head, once again concealing all but the faint sapphire glow of his irises. He dusts himself off, shoulders his knapsack and, tiliting his head respectfully in a bow to the Ringmaster, sets off down the alley. The Ringmaster watches him leave, but does not follow him. Skiprazor is but a mere speck in the distance when he stops and turns, his voice echoing down the alleyway, surrounding the archmage like a cyclone.*]
"I will seek you out in due time. Fare thee well."
[*The Ringmaster blinks, and the echoing has disappeared, and Skiprazor with it.*]
(OOC: Take this all literally - I've got some other business to attend to, and I won't be able to post for a few weeks. We'll pick this up some other time, thanks!)
[ModNote: Skiprazor next features in A Calling.]
