*The following characters suddenly feel very woozy, and feel compelled to walk to the central yard of the village:
Ursula FrightKnight Lord Fear Sylvester Hands Hordriss de Confuseur Skiprazor Tom Troughton Lady Morgan De Chaos
They cannot fight this feeling, and feel quite content with the idea that there is 'something in the air', though a few of the older members of the group may notice that people are moving out of their path, snatching children indoors and slowly deserting the roads.
When they reach the yard at the same time, still under the woozy influence, there is a scroll hovering in mid air for each of them...eight scrolls all in a row.
They all reach out a hand and clasp the scroll...and are plunged into darkness. Their feet are rooted to the ground (until further notice) but the wooziness has gone and they are able to talk to each other until the blackness subsides...*
NOTE: The scrolls cannot be opened, however hard you try. All this appears to be the creation of a higher force...possibly to do with the forest...

Lord Fear [ModNote: last seen in An Unholy Alliance] presses his thumb and index finger to his forehead while muttering to himself "Where in 'Dragons Breath' am I?" He looked up and saw everyone else around.

*Hordriss was on his way to Dunnfalls when the compulsion came across him. Confused at the feeling and at the reactions of the villagers, he nevertheless could taste the strange power in the air.* *When he sees Lord Fear and Sylvester Hands he assumes that something is up, however he quickly sees that they too are under this compulsion* *Then the darkness comes. Hordriss tries to open his scroll.* A question one is sure that we would all wish answered Fear, for unless one of you has organized this as a vast practical joke, which seems out of character for most of us, one fears that this situation is the result of some kind of extradimensional influence. Despite going to extraordinary lengths to bring us to these scrolls, they appear to be impossible to open, one has already tried whispering a few spells over mine. Have any of you had any luck? Indeed, assuming that we have not all been struck blind and that the sun has not been extinguished, can anyone tell where we are either?

Whilst this would certainly be in character for the Leader of the Opposition, one feels sure Troughton that should this all have been his plan he would be unable now to contain his gloating, the execution being so successful.
Is that not correct Fear? Do not attempt to deceive, we are none of us fools here.
Well, mostly.

"I'd like to see you try."
"Belive me I can do far worse then just trapping you in a Giant Playing card."

[ModNote: FrightKnight was last seen in An Undying Tale.] He would too, I've seen it happen. Maybe if I try....nng...putting my finger inside the centre of the scroll....hm, feels tingly....nng....gah, stupid magic. Look, I can't even move, and I'm stood right next to Sly Hands. Perfect. You don't think....there could be a dungeoneer around here?
