I thought I might take the opportunity, now we are down to the last 5 and my brother has decided to simply leave (for good this time i believe) then I thought I would congratulate all involved for their efforts in the BR plot. Although I made 2 posts as LM they were surrounded by my brother's problem with management. So far the whole plot has been a captivating read and after being initially sceptical about how it would work then the idea has won me over. Congrats to all and may the best contestant win!

To me, 'it's not the winning, it's the taking part'. That is part of why I've enjoyed the KMBR plot so much. I'm pleased that others have enjoyed it too. 'Someday, you'll roleplay like this.'

The BR is the longest I've roleplayed as Lord Fear snice the Opposition Kidnapping.
For me this has been one of the greatest Roleplaying experiences.

Yes indeed, despite being out of it for a while at the beginning this has been a fabulous idea, and it's very good that no-one seems to be taking it as a competition... we will not bow to the Old One!
It's only a shame that I won't be around to finish it... [See 'Farewell for now']

It's certainly been inspiring stuff. I just wish I hadn't taken leave of my senses and got myself whacked from beyond the grave. D'oh.
As for the 'not-competing' thing, I stand by my decision to place Skiprazor as an active combatant (alongside Frightknight, the Automaton and Lord Fear). I think it added a certain edge to the proceedings. Had everyone just banded together from the outset, it may have been a bit of a wasted opportunity. Even at this stage of the game, I feel that the remaining players have missed the chance to express sides of their character they would never normally have reason to... but by the same token, those who shun violence have only strengthened their characters by their refusal to take part.
Still, I enjoyed it. And I'm quite proud of the writing I did in it, I hope I gave everyone involved something to play off.
Until the next time....

I laughed at the cruel irony of Skiprazor dying after using one of my clue objects, shortly after I got killed. FK sort of helped kill 2, not bad considering trhe short amount of time he ended up having.
Mind you, I would have ended up taking the leak potion myself...

We do now have a problem with the character of Lady Morgan, this time my brother assures me he has left for good but has not entrusted his account password to me, nor to my knowledge any other players. That means LMDC has merely been abandoned post BR as my brother left since he was trapped in the book and when I informed him of his demise he made it very clear he was done with the forum. So what should happen now?

I would have said that this is a discussion best held in the Mods' Area, but since it's been raised here, I'll make a point here. This section of the Rules covers character abandonment: surrounds.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=1072033980Rob, could your brother be persuaded to make one final post, signalling the 'departure' of his character? If not, perhaps he'd give Kully, you, or another of the Mods permission to describe Lady Morgan's withdrawal, in line with his wishes, even if this is done in the third person via another account.

Good point, sadly I see very little chance of my brother coming back nor wishing anyone interfere with his character.

Well, looks like there's nowt much we can do about that. All the rules ask for is a small amount of common courtesy before you take out a character, but sometimes it isn't always possible. Will have to overlook it, unless someone has a cunning plan which doesn't involve nicking his character. The rest of you won't do this though, I hope Gl;ad you all like the thread, though its a nice way to wind people up ;D

He he he, don't let him hear that Tis a shame he has acted this way as LMDC was an interesting character up to the BR. Still not the worse loss in the world. The BR plot is getting even more interesting with the last 4 all working together slightly, how long it can last before one cracks under the fear of time expiring and them with it is anyone's guess. Still i'm sure the conclusion will be riveting

I'm posting here because I've disrupted the main Knightmare Battle Royale thread quite enough...
I'm sorry, everyone, for raising my thoughts in the way that I have, and creating a bad impression. I felt confused by the fact that some members were posting after the clear deadline stated in advance on page 19, for reasons that are their own; but my reaction lacked forethought. It was not meant to suggest dissatisfaction with the Administration of the plot - the pre-statement of an end-time was satisfactory provision for me, and I felt that the best way for me to be supportive was to adhere to the deadline and refrain from roleplaying until I was sure that it was permitted, rather than assuming so. In no way do I hold Kully responsible for the fact that some members chose to continue to post and to narrate actions for my characters in those posts.
However, I accept that by the very fact that I raised concerns so indiscreetly within the thread, I may have given the impression of dissent among the Mods, and I find that deeply regrettable. I would like everyone to note that I feel that as a Mod, I have displayed a distressing lack of allegiance, tact and sensitivity, in a way that I hope never to repeat. I sincerely apologise.
I hope you'll agree that the KMBR thread has seen an innovative and exciting idea come to fruition with style, and has been unquestionably worth reading and participating in for multiple reasons. Please, please, don't let my comments detract from that.

I agree wholly that the plot has been fantastic and certainly one of, if not the, best threads in the existance of the forum with its simple premise, high drama and tension. I do not hold any of your OOC comments against you at all as it was clear that they were not meant to show dissent but to try and get to the bottom of the confusion that has occured towards the end of the KMBR plot. Both you and indeed the whole management team on this forum is certainly the best I have had the pleasure to be a part of and the overall community of Roleplayers here is off the highest standard and I am proud to be such a well involved member of it. To me your pology was not needed but it is instantly understood and accepted
