Am ill, won't be around for a few days. Apologies, but unable to look at screens for long amounts of time. Hope this won't interfere too much. Can someone give me an outline of the current storylines, please, so that I know what to expect when I come back, and if someone is able to redo the storyline update once I'm back?

Sorry that illness is restricting you. I don't know if I'm the right person to give detailed synopses, since I'm not the main architect or participant in my current storyline in the Forge thread. (though I am enjoying it!) As I understand it, Tom, Ursula and Hordriss are in a mental dreamscape after a contact ritual, trying to overcome Bloodfang and face fears, while dark nightmare creatures (which remind me a bit of the argorribles from Dreamstone!) are menacing Young Grimwold, FrightKnight, Brother Strange and Ringmasterrob, who are on guard in the Forest, where the ritual began. I'm sure the others can add details to that, but I hope it helps for now. It is good to have some time away from computers if you are feeling under the weather. Knock back some Lemsip, and get well soon.  |

Vicks does wonders for blocked noses and chests, just thinking about it makes my eyes water (it's strong stuff, but mightily effective).
Failing that, rest with something cuddly like a pet (goldfish don't work very well), a teddy bear or an obliging person who doesn't mind being infected.
Having been away for a few days from this site, I haven't been able to get fully into this Forge plot, but I am trying.

The general gist of The Forge plot as I understand (it since Hordriss dreamed it up) is that Tom, Ursula and Hordriss are attempting to destroy an evil force that Hordriss himself created in the form of a dagger "The Bloodfang Blade."
It had infected all three with its evil, but they have expelled it in to Frightknights new sword and have chased it in to The Dreamscape Land were it is has seperated them and is useing psycalogical tactics (useing there own memories and fears against them) to destroy them.
As I say this is just a general overview as I understand it. Hordriss could give you a much better one.

Well I could... but it might spoil the plot! We'll probably keep this plot going for ages, the dreamscape is truly infinite and the characters guarding have their hands full with the shadows. If they're running out of ideas I'll send something more their way... Hope you get better soon Kully, and don't worry, I'll warn you of any major developments, but since technically this thread is mostly unreal it won't damage anything! Now, just relax and recover |

My rings have been 'cursed' by Visage (Cowled Man) and I am trying some spells to remove this curse as soon as my participation in the forge topic comes to an end.

Why wasn't I told this was going to be a long plot? I did state a while ago that I was waiting for all the other plots to be wrapped up so that we could have some quiet time in the village, so when something does come along it would be a shock. Right...big roleplaying notice to be put up now...

Sorry Kully, it wasn't going to last quite as long as this but it got delayed whilst people went away for a few days etc.
Tom - better opt for the quick option!
(He'll understand what I mean)
