[Flaccus Hellfire]

[OOC: Same Jacob from Council of Wyrms, right? If it isn't, I have editing to do.]

Flaccus stops when he hears the shout. He wasn't really paying attention, half zoning-out while he walked, and had to focus for a second. When the words themselves registered in his brain, and he realized that there was somebody native to Krynn standing in front of him, his eye twitched. "Not anymore, haven't been for . . a while . . forgot how many years. Judging by the way you just pulled a weapon, you ain't either." He began to walk to the side a bit, the same thought racing through his mind: Shi* shi* shi*, brother does NOT want me to get into a fight . . . "So, why are you here?"

[Jacob]

Jacob declares "I am Jacob Lord of the Lances, Conquer of Realms, and Destroyer of Races." (wouldn't Flaccus be confused a little, someone showing hostile intent toward Tiamat followers, yet adorned in all these holy symbols and arm, and weapons and so forth.) he eases his hand of the masterwork handle. "a Sivac that praise the Queen not, very rare, after our victory of Krynn, I thought none would fall from Tiamat's grace."

[OOC: Kind of, not really. There have been turn-coats in the wars . . . and soldiers that just went stark mad and attacked their allies.]

"The Queen of Darkness left Krynn a while ago, along with most of her dragons and the powers her servants relied upon. One of the worst things about that was that she left us during an attack on Krynn itself by Chaos Himself. I've not been under her influ- wait, did you just say 'victory of Krynn'!? Are you mad, we lost that war, all the Dragon Highlords - except for Kitiara Uth Matar as she fled like a coward - were slain, our army decimated, and the Temple of Neraka brought back to the very Abyss that spawned it." [OOC: Flaccus does not know about Bodakis being alive, or the concept of alternate realities.]

Flaccus had stopped in his tracks, and was staring at Jacob in wide-eyed disbelief.

[Jacob]

Jacob raises his brow "are you mad Draconian, we slaughtered Bahamut's forces, though we did lose the High lords, except for the Coward, but we won, and Tiamat did leave the God Plane... And entry the Prime Material Plane, So I Doubt, you lost power unless you were against her" He stares at Flaccus, Before Drawing his spears "You Lie, no one could be so Foolish as not to even know the History of such a war as that, you must Serve Paladin, with a Illusion spell, to end me, or of Tiamats control, to trick me into letting me guard down and then Slay me, Or are you here to make me return to one of those Entities to continue a never ending Service!"

Great, this guy won't listen to me. Normally, I would enjoy bashing his skull in, but I need answers . . or Addis will kill me. Flaccus thought to himself as he regained his composure, his warrior instincts kicking in as he saw a weapon drawn. The words Addis had taught him to summon his sword were on the tip of his tongue, yet he tried to seem as non-hostile as he can be at the moment - a hard feat since he was a Sivak Draconian. "Hey, woah, put that away, I am not looking for a fight. Obviously, we have a disagreement about a basic event - whether the War of the Lance was lost or not. I say it was, you say it wasn't . . . are you sure you are from Krynn?" Flaccus stopped for a moment, then remembered something Addis had said about time traveling differently between realms. "Or, are you sure that you fought in the same war I fought in? I've heard that time travels differently in each realm - or was it plane - doesn't matter, we could be hundreds of years apart when it comes to what ever event we are talking about."

[Jacob]

Jacob lowers his weapons "hmmm that is true, but I doubt that coward of a high lord would live long enough for two Dragon Wars, then again each differs from alternate realities set in motion by different events, by the alteration of events in the alteration of time, by with removal of persons or entire events" His eyes seem to be darting around searching for weaknesses in your stance

[Flaccus Hellfire]

Flaccus still holds his defensive, but non-hostile stance, but cocks an eyescale. "You lost me with that last part. My brother's the Archmage, I'm just a weapon expert. What did you mean events and people changing?" He gave a slightly irritated growl. "You are still staring at me like that . . . looking for my weaknesses . . . look, if you really want to fight me, I'm up for it, just not until we figure out what the hell is going on. There are two more Draconians in this realm - ever hear of Clan Hellfire?"

[Jacob]

Jacob gives a chuckle, "yes but not of a Sivac, I only know of one whom is known by Addis, who aided my ex-master, Fury in the aid of her release upon Kyrnn, a golden scaled arch-mage long since retired."

[Flaccus Hellfire]

"That sounds like my brother . . . but long since retired? What in the name of the Abyss do you mean by that!? And . . . your master? Fury? Sounds like the alias of either a dragon or a wild elf." Flaccus looks around, then back at Jacob, and then scratches an itch on his arm. "Look, I am getting more and more confused by the second. By the way this sounds, we are both from a realm called Krynn, serve - or served in my case - a goddess named Tiamat - also known as Tahkesis - and fought in an event called the War of the Lance. But, that is where things apparently get weird . . . I say the war was lost, and you say it was won . . . er . . . just to test something: who was the Red Dragon Highlord?"

[Jacob]

Jacob raises his eyebrow "you mean Verminaard, He died at the temple of Narka, along with Lord Ariakas the poor fool didn't even get a fair fight, damned Kinder caught him with a dagger of incineration before he could do anything, as for Fury he was the reason for the Hero's of the Lances fall, for he trapped them in the grand temple as it collapsed, as Tiamat broke through the roof."

[Flaccus Hellfire]

"I am not really sure how Ariakus died, since I was brought here-" Flaccus gestures to his surroundings "-to this realm, then went back to Krynn to pretty much witness the war's end, then the Blue Lady's War, Chaos War, and briefly the War of Souls." Flaccus gave a sad sigh, remembering the simple glory days. "So, you say the war was won. Must have been a glorious sight . . . anyways, at the moment I am not quite sure where Addis is - he doesn't like traveling with me when he has 'important business' to take care of." He mumbles something about pain in the arse Auraks "He would be able to shed light on this situation, and I am bored, so I'm going to go look for him whether he wants it or not."

[OOC: Alright . . . might need Addis' input on the situation, since he would be able to piece together what is going on. Only problem is that him and Bodakis are currently in another plot. Going to send a PM to YG and Leytan about what's going on.]

*Rufus has been quietly standing by, listening to the talk of destruction and war, and feeling confused and nervous. He seizes an opportunity to help, hoping that it will keep him out of any crossfire.*

Rufus: Maybe I can lend a hand. If you wait here, I'll have a scout around for this Addis fella and bring him back here to yous.

Jacob gestures to Rufus not to "the Sivac shall... oh and by the way a warning do not spend that coin with greed, or from it nothing good shall come".

Rufus: I'm not greedy, me. Just keen! So why don't I nip off and find this Addis bloke for ya, and then I'll really have earned me coin. *He looks at Flaccus, hoping he can persuade Jacob.*

[OOC: The problem with Flaccus going off to find his brother is that we'd end up with all three of Addis' characters in a single thread - and it's a thread that is almost at a stand-still anyway. If Rufus crosses over from this thread into Hunting for supplies and brings Addis but not Bodakis across, then both plots can keep moving.]
