"I'm fine. I'm hard to hurt, well when you just........"
*Stops in mid sentence and changes track.*
"What about you? I hope you don't mind but I'm picking up a conflict of emotions from you. Anything yo want to talk about?"
"Sometimes a stranger is easier to talk to them some one your realy familer with."

*Midnight is about to say something and then freezes. She turns round and looks back at the group. She counted them, they were all there. She spies RMR nad Phinehas looking behind them.*
Oh oh this can't be a good thing.
*Her Watcher instinct kicked in something wasn't right.*
Excuse me Tom.
*With that she walks towards the archmage and the nightelf.*
Any idea who's behind us?

"Oh My Giddy Aunt is that?? Oh No no,no can't be he's dead. For a minuet there Rob the way that man is dressed. I thought it was our old freind Edward Deal and The Assasin Guild."
"But I would say its a safe bet that there Assasin's but not Guild Members."

*Phinehas frowns.*
Whatever it is, it's not human. I would have heard it if it was. As it is, I only sense it. Can it be killed?

Well that could be any one of us....and thats just for breathing. Though me and Coriolis may have upset him recently but no I don't think that's who's got us being followed, but I'm going to take a closer peek.
*With that shewalked into the woods slowly and a few minutes later a white owl appeared and took off away from the group and back towards where they just came from.*

*Phinehas shakes his head and mutters. He takes two steps backwards, disapearing into the shadows. He doubles back to see what's following them.*

[ModNote: Continued from The Aftermath.] *The Assasin moves through the forest with its own form of invisibility as it tracks the party, having left the Cavernwight in the town...* *It draws closer to the party, and realises that this is too easy, and also that the two it was tracking have vanished along with the hobo mage* *Whispering so silently it cannot be heard except through the mirror, it reports the description of the band to Locksley, and their location and speed* *For a moment there is silence, then Locksley orders it to return. Quietly, it makes its way back through the forest, returning to town....* *Meanwhile back at the Guardhouse, Locksley is still pondering the fact that one of the party wears an oh-so-familiar golden circlet around his head* [ModNote: Continued for Locksley in Sunset over the Inquisition.]

*Phinehas smiles as he looks down at the wraith. No wonder he hadn't been able to hear it. Good thing his senses were well-tuned. He looked up to see a white owl flying over him, and then turned to hear the sound of someone stumbling through the forest. Amateurs, he thought to himself. When he turned back the wraith was gone, but he'd seen enough, and began to make his way silently back to the rest of the group.*

*Coriolis watched as a worried looking Rhiannon headed for Phinehas and RMR and knew straight away that something was wrong. Looking around he couldn't see anything other than normal night time activity in the woods.
*Mutters.* If you call 7 practical strangers walking to a base normal.
*He got more worried when Rhiannon along with Phinehas and Tom disappeared.*
*Sigh*
What a time to lose my teachings.
*With patience that was almost driving him mad all he could do was wait until they returned. When the owl appeared he smiled.*
*Mutters.* Going for a change of colour Rhiannon? I don't think so..
*Coriolis may have lost the link with her but he still knew her well enough to know that, that wasn't Rhiannon.*

*A while after Phinehas rejoined the group a black panther appeared. Her blue eyes worried and now she missed the link between her and Coriolis. It had been nagging at her since he turned up at the Wolfs Howl but while being in panther form she had remembered the last time they had seen each other before the raid on Arios. He was her last link home and she missed it. Not that she was going to tell him . She was too stubbon for that.*
*Midnight watched as the owl that had flew out of the trees not long after she had gone in had startled her somewhat. The nights activities probablly had high strung the animal and made it's senses more atuned with it's surroundings. but it had given the others the wrong idea of what she was and hopefully whoever followed as well. Sadly the hunter of the party had suddenly taken off back the way it had came. Leaving the allience group to go on their way. Though Midnight doubted that it would be the last they ould see of the wraith.*
*Damn thing was near impossible to find but Midnight had felt a sensing of it and went with her gut instincts.*

*At this point they notice that RMR appears to have broken away from the group in the confusion, there is no blood or signs of a struggle and he wouldn't have been captured without anyone realising, where he has gone though in unknown...*

*Midnight changes back into her human form.*
Oh great....we have a wraith following us and no RMR. I'd say he can take care of himself but after what I saw earlier I'm not too sure.
*Midnight frowns at the disappearance of RMR. and no sign of Tom.*
Ok any suggestions?

Yes. Let's go on to the boarding school. If the mages don't show up by tomorrow, we go looking for them. Till then, we can safely assume they know what they're doing.

Agreed... A little rest goes a long way and I've had preciously little these last few nights..... The Mages have a strong combined power and have survived for centuries on their own wits as it is.... We need not worry ourselves with them...
*He continues his trudge along the Schools mile long drive, Looking forward to a good warm bed.....*
