...look...I need to tell you something. I remember Shadow now. She's not from the Sandstone Mountains like she said.
*She lowers her voice a little.*
...three or four years ago she came running into our village screaming for help. People thought she was some evil witch because of her eyes, but me and my parents listened to her. She told us she'd completely lost her memory and only found a piece of paper nearby that said "Shadow" on it. We looked after her for a while and then she made her own way on in life and we never heard from her after that.
...I think she needs our help.

Umm...well there's wedlock. I think that's when you have a child out of marriage and the father isn't there to support the baby.
