*Since there is hardly any space, Shadow decides to kneel in the boat instead of sitting. As the two of them travel, Shadow starts to get a bit uneasy.*
Umm...can you...I mean...are you able to move a bit?

Oh... I'll have a go...
*Robin shifts his legs back, and almost topples out of the boat backwards as it responds to the trigger word "go", and simply moves at a faster pace. He holds on tightly to avoid this unexpected shift. His legs aren't in a much better position than they were, but inching his backside as far into the stern as it will go and shuffling his feet a bit have created an inch or so more space. It may be a working boat, but for comfort, it's not ideal.*
It may be a working boat, but for comfort, it's not ideal, is it?

Hmm...yeah...
*Although she has never told this to anyone, Shadow is badly claustrophobic. She used to, and sometimes still does, have nightmares about being trapped in a small dark room, so small spaces make her feel uncomfortable. She really wants to get off the boat.*
Ugh, can't this thing go any faster?!

*At the trigger word again, the small boat, once moving steadily, picks up speed again.*
Whoah! Well, you got your wish! What's... why are we going faster?
*...and with that, it starts bracing the waves, a visible slipstream appearing as it approaches the pace of a speedboat.*
Aaaaaah!
*Robin, through his fingers, suddenly spots, ahead of them, a small platform with a open door embedded into the wall. Directly ahead of them, in fact. And they're heading straight forwards. He starts shouting over the noise of rushing water.*
Shadow! Brace yourself! We're going to hit a...
*...the boat collides with the platform at full force. Robin is comedically thrown forwards and, somehow, vanishes through the doorway... leaving the unharmed boat, and its passenger, bobbing up and down on the water... having stopped at last.*

*As soon as Robin says "Brace yourself!", Shadow automatically grabs the sides of the boat and, as they bump into the platform, manages to keep her grip and stay in the boat. However she finds Robin flying out of the boat very amusing.*
HAHAHA! Hold on! I'm coming!
*She walks through the doorway, still laughing her head off.*

*Robin lies flat on his stomach, the wind knocked out of him. Cursing everything in the world ever, he painfully hauls himself up. Before he can do an inventory check, he is stunned by the first look at the place where he has ended up.*
Sweet merciful goblins...
*He is in a majestic. gigantic, circular hall made almost entirely of grey- green marble. Statues, pillars and giant stained glass windows litter the room, and although it looks uninhabited, there is a certain sparkle to everything. Turning his head from left to right, Robin catches sight of his own reflection. It looks somewhat iridescent.*
Would you look at that?
*He is not sure where to go, or what to do. He merely stands there, feeling dwarfed by this huge, glittering room.*

*Shadow soon follows through. She's calmed down but her eyes are on the verge of watering from laughing so much. She is amazed at the surroundings of the room.* WOW! This place...it's beautiful! *She runs to the middle of the room and starts spinning around with her arms spread out wide, giggling with happiness. She soon stops and spots her own reflection.* Hmm...I really need a haircut now that I see myself. *Shadow fiddles with her two large, thick ponytails of hair, trying to get some knots out of them. [OOC: They look a bit like this, but shorter and silver: images.wikia.com/vocaloid/images/5/50/Ofclboxart_cfm_Hatsune_Miku-illu.png]*

*Robin is pulled out of his reverie by Shadow's actions. A small smile plays around his lips as she spins in the centre of the room. A young warrior she may be, but - as the Woodsman notes - she is still a child.
His own reflection is slightly woebegone. Fair enough, it's a far cry from the falling, battering and bruisy cuts he endured while defending Holmgarth, but his hair is tangled, his clothes are ripped, he has some noticeable swellings, and everything seems to be covered in a fine layer of dust.*
Being underground doesn't suit me.
*He checks his equipment. Sword's there, as always. Crossbow... seems to be working, surprisingly enough. But... arrows? Only one left. Better use that sparingly, if at all.*
Do you want to go ahe...?
*With a glance at Shadow, who is now untangling lengthy swaths of hair, he shakes his head, amused. His eyes take in the expanse of marble hall they are in. The only way onward appears to be a large marble staircase at the far end.*
Whenever you're ready.

*Shadow barely takes any notice of Robin, as she suddenly stops untangling her hair and takes another look at her reflection. She subconciously walks towards one of the walls and takes a proper look at herself. She knows she's different to everyone else; her skin is very VERY pale, her hair is a sinister silver and her eyes are an intimidating blood-red colour. Her clothes are average enough: a short black dress with the breastplate covering it, but she knows that can't hide the rest of her. She frowns as she looks at this girl; a girl who is physically 14 but only has 3 years of memory. *
...why...?
*Her mixed emotions suddenly change into one: anger.*
NOOOOOOOOO!
*She leans against the wall and punches it in absolute fury.*
WHY ME?! WHY ME?!
*...is all she can shriek as she thrashes around for no apparent reason. She doesn't even care that Robin is still there.*
TELL ME! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE ME?!

*Robin wheels about, and is instantly shocked. His hands twitch as if to draw his sword, but this is no monster... it's a girl. Nervously dancing about as he runs through possibilities of what to do, he starts to panic a little as he realises he's got nothing.*
Gir... erm, Shadow? What's... what's...?
*His voice dies to a whisper as he feebly attempts to communicate with the poor, thrashing figure.*

WHY IS IT ME?! WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO DIFFERENT?!
*She looks directly at Robin with pure anger in her eyes.*
Go on! You know I'm different as well! I KNOW YOU KNOW!

Zhing.
*Robin's sword is out. He's holding it defensively, not wanting to provoke the ever-more-agitated Shadow.*
I... I...
*He pauses for half a second. Time is precious.*
...I don't know what you're talking about!

Liar!
*Shadow automatically draws her own sword.*
You've seen the number on my neck and I seriously doubt anyone else has one! If you're not going to be honest Robin, I'll have to force an answer out of you!
Voice [OOC: The one that told Shadow that Smirkenorff was the one ]: That's it! Show him! He calls himself a hero, but he doesn't have the guts to tell the truth. Go on! Tell him that!
*When the voice says this, Shadow seems reluctant to follow its wishes. She had been persuaded that Robin is a hero, after he saved her twice.*
Voice: Tell him! What are you waiting for?
*Shadow points her sword at Robin.*
You call yourself a hero, but you don't even have to guts to tell the truth. Well let me help you find the guts, which I believe will be all over the floor very soon!
*Shadow quickly rushes forward, corrupt by her anger, and not even giving a care if she does manage to slice the woodsman open.*

*Robin reluctantly, but quickly, thrusts his sword upwards to parry the blow.*
What are you doing?
*He jumps over a slice from the girl, and backs away, his sword at the ready.*
Shadow... come to your senses! You're... you're clearly...
*Cling! The sound of metal against metal resounds through the room. Robin isn't even trying to attack - he's too busy defending. This girl is skilled - and crazed. He's fending off multiple blows, but she doesn't seem to be tiring.*
...you're not there! Come back to me... aaaaaah....
*Shadow has caught him a blow. Fortunately, it glanced off his side, but she has drawn a little blood. Used to the occasional pain, Robin rapidly leaps backwards, as high as he can. He lands a little way up, on a stone plinth next to the base of a pillar. With the high ground, he stops for a moment.*
Think, girl, think!

Voice: Don't listen to him! He's just stalling! You can get him now!
What?! You mean kill him?! I can't! He...he's...
Voice: He's what? Your saviour? Don't be ridiculous! A hero is always honest and brave. And look at that little wimp.
*Shadow looks up at Robin. He's desperatley trying to talk her out of her angry trance.*
No! He's not a wimp! And he's not just a saviour either!
Voice: What are you jabbering about?! You can finish him right here, right now! Go on, do it!
NO! SHUT UP!
*She says this bit out loud, hoping to the gods that Robin didn't think she was talking to him.*
He's...he's...
He's my friend.
*The Voice remains silent. Shadow lets her sword slip from her hand and clatter to the ground. She drops to her knees with her head in her hands and the only thing she can do now is cry.*
...I'm...I'm sorry...
