While Daenary's was staring at Wren and awaiting the companion's decision a man left the back of the house and made his way towards a already prepared horse and cart. He climbed in carrying a light sack that appeared to hold little within. He picked up the reigns and giving the horse a good swift thwack along it's sides he felt some joy as his familiar journey began with the familiar jolt of movement as the wheels began to turn.
The man began to whistle quietly as his journey started to take him away from the hosue and towards the main road even if the distance was many miles between the pair. He knew where he would be heading once the wheels struck the smoother and well trodden roads.
This trip would take him to the heart East Winteria, even bringing him to the Princes home. He felt a brief flare of discomfort as vague memroies of rumors filtered through his currently idle mind.
None the less he continued on wards and tried to press the brief but troubling notions away he had a very important message to deliver.

As the messenger neared his destination he could hear wolfs calling to either side of the road, seemingly almost to be pacing him. In the distance he could see the castle, see the work on the battlements. New buildings in the town surrounding it. Even the signs of a outer wall planned to encompass the whole town. It wasn’t long before horseman challenged him. Demanding know his business.
Once he had given his purpose he was escorted to the castle.. then lead to Lord Anatoli. Allowing him to deliver the message. Once done he was offered boarding and rest before his return. Escorted into town and to the Inn if he wished.
The Lord held the note...letting the others depart before laughing lightly to himself.
“I wonder if the Witch enjoys sending me a letter... knowing I can not read it with my own eyes.”
He then called out for his trusted servant. Having them read the note to him. Knowing he would have to take it to his brother, though wishing knows its contents before then.

In fact the "Witch" got no enjoyment out of the letters sent to her Royal counter part and in truth she now a days did not give it much thought. She was quite aware any letters sent to him would be read to him and such a message sent could not by any means in her opinion have been spoken aloud.
" To Anatoli Zakhar , Crown Prince of East Winteria,
I hope this message finds you well Prince Zakhar and I hope any interruption caused by this shall be minor but news of my bloodkin Leytan DeCobray-Shar death has been brought to me and I seek passage across your land to make my arrival at your docks where his body shall be arriving though only with your permission of course. Please respond as soon as you are able
Sincerely Daenarys Shar, Crown Princess of South Winteria."

Anatoli moves through the castle. Carrying the letter. Moving to the office where his brother now sets up. He moves with practiced steps from years of walking blind through the halls. He simply walks in..still feeling more the ruler here than he is.
“I received a letter today Brother. Though as you are now...taking over you should be the one reply to it. Besides I imagine you will enjoy reading it.”
He smiled and moved to the desk....sliding the opened letter to the wood surface. Alek reaching for it and reading slowly. His brow raising as he takes in the information. Then he slides it to the desktop and reaches for a quill and ink. Pulling a paper from the draw.
“Enjoy? Not really Brother... Why would I enjoy reading of his death not causing it? Though it is...interesting information. As for Lady Daenarys request we will of course allow it. In fact I will send a guard to escort her once she reaches our lands.”
Beginning to work the younger brother seems to go silent. The older then clearly annoyed at something as he hits his hand on the desk.
“Alekzander do not simply dismiss me. And as for the witch... why let her come. Let her wait to receive his body whenever it reaches her? Do not be fooled my little brother she is a cold heartless woman. Do not let old fires smolder for her. It is dangerous.”
At that the younger sighs and looks up. Taking a moment to calm himself.
“I am not dismissing you.. I was writing the reply and then planning read it to you so you could say if you thought it proper. It is simple and to the point I think.... here.
To Daenarys Shar Crowned Princess of South Winteria.
I am sorry to hear of your blood-kins death. Your letter was no interruption at all. You may of course travel to receive his body. I will send a honor guard to escort you across My lands. Please reply if you need anything else. Feel free to take rest at My home as well if you wish.
Sincerely Alekzander Zakhar, Crown Prince of East Winteria
How is that Brother?”
Anatoli shook his head and turned to go. Pausing at the door and turning his head back. Looking to his brother with sightless eyes.
“It sounded like a noble”
The words said with a hint of insult. Indeed one of the nobles was not something Alek ever wished be. The older sibling starting off with a few last words.
“And the Witch is going to be the end of you.”

As he left his brothers new office Anatoli roamed the halls slowly. Speaking low and debating. Finally reaching a high balcony. A place he could feel the cold wind on his face. His sightless eyes looking out over the land.
“I had thought this a blessing, a chance to somehow repay the Witch. Hmmm my brothers plans to send guard is unexpected. It makes I hard indeed if she is under his protection. I would have thought him happier that Leytan was dead.”
He then leans on the stone battlements. Almost as if listening to voices noone else could hear. Indeed even looking as if to his side. Habits perhaps to make some wonder. Though noone could swear he indeed didn’t have invisible advisers. He laughed low then and lifted his head back enjoying the cold breeze. Always finding it refreshing.
“My brother returns...to claim the family seat. The leadership that should be mine if not for the Witch. I will find some way to get my revenge. I just hope that I do not need ….
Leaving the rest unsaid for a moment as he sighs.
“....Retake that chair from Alek to do it.”
Knowing full well the only way he would ever rule again was his younger brothers death. He then shakes his head and puts his hands behind his back. Moving to roam the halls again talking to himself. Plotting with his always present.. always unseen companions.

Once the door closed Alekzander worked to seal the letter. Knowing his brother seemed unreleased. He understood it. Shar had blinded him in her youth. Though he also understood that he saw much in the young Princess. Some obvious and some unseen. He would play the perfect host, see to all he could to hopefully better their long strained relationship.
“Guard, take this to the Lady Shars messenger. Be sure he is seen to as best we can till his departure. Though let me know the moment he does go.”
He handed the sealed letter to his bloodguard. Then waited for him to leave before he leaned back. Pulling out a bottle from his desk. Drinking of it as he looked out the large window in the room. Thinking to himself what all he needed to put into motion now that he was back, now that his family was well established in the nobility....and he had set their military strength. He looked to the door once, recalling his brothers words. Something about them troubling him though he tried to dismiss that thought. Indeed he should drink to Leytans death and enjoy the first night of his rulership.
Outside his wolfs howled in the night. Roaming the lands he had brought them to. Still learning it as they hunted and worked to claim it as theirs. Running off the other packs from the land he had given them to watch. Though the old Alpha sat near the castle...on a high hill watching the humans built cave. He answered the calls from time to time. Though paced more as if troubled.

*The South Winterian messenger noted duly that he was brought within the building while six guards kept him from trying to create any trouble. Not that he planned such but though he kept his head forwards he tried to take in as much details of any changes going on as he could. One never knew how much small news could be worth. He already had some revelations to reveal to his Crown Princess when he returned home. The strength of the wolves out side of the protective keep were enough to cause him some alarm especially with the vague rumors that had circulated about the area of Winteria with the youngest gone off into the rough areas of East Winteria..
Once he arrived at his requested Inn he fell into his bed without eating the food made for him and slept the night through. Only the sound of someone knocking loudly on his door as the sun tried to break through the clouds brought him out of his seeming coma.
Opening the door he was shoved a wax sealed letter into his still faint grasping hand and quickly told to return to his home land. With a widening of eyes he nodded his head and ate the cold food beside his bed once the door was closed, locked and the foot steps had receded enough he knew he was alone again.
Finally sated at least by a full stomach if not by the taste of the food, the messenger left the inn quickly and began the long process of returning to South Winteria as quickly as possible.*
The new Prince would be informed within the hour of the messenger's departure through the main gate and that the letter should with good haste and safe travel be within the Crown Princess's hands within the week.
Yet Daenary's had already forgotten the letter she had sent. The reply would catch her by surprise but not as much as the unexpected news of Alekander's return and claim of the crown. *
