*Whilst all this had been happening, there was at least one person who was completely oblivious to the whole thing. Dreslin had managed to sleep through the magic battle, and the light bees, and Leytan's escape. He slept as if he hadn't slept for weeks, and for once, his sleep was dreamless...* [ModNote: Dreslin was last seen here.]

[OOC: Dreslin's sleep began after his departure from Meliss & Red's Room. Could the title of this new thread be a spoiler? ] *There is a gentle knocking at Dreslin's door. Though perhaps too gentle to bring him out of his sleep.*

(OOC: It could well be a spoiler ) *Though the knock on the door was light, it managed to edge it's way into Dreslin's sleep filled mind, bringing him slowly back to wakefulness. Opening his eyes slowly, he winced at the stiffness in his muscles, and the muzzy headed feeling he had from too much sleep* "Mrhello?" Slowly. he lifted his head off the pillow and looked towards the door

*The maid can't help letting out a gasp of relief, which she hopes that Dreslin didn't hear. She blinks and smiles at the door, as if grateful that it isn't a coffin lid.*
Drassandre: Sir, it's Drassandre, your maid. Are you well? May I enter?

*A puzzled look shot briefly across Dreslin's face as he heard the faint sigh, and then the memories of the past few days flooded back to him, and he remembered where he was, and a potential reason for the maid's sigh of relief*
"Ah, Drassandre, just one moment please..."
*Dreslin, not realising that in his sleep, he had tangled himself up in the bedsheets, went to to stand up, and managed to trip over the sheets. His normal grace deserted him, and he landed with a loud thump on the floor*
"Ohh, that wasn't good!" He moaned softly to himself

*Drassandre jumps.*
Drassandre: Sir? Is the ogre in there too?

"Ogre?! What, where?!" Dreslin yelped, then the memory of his room mate came back to him, and he shook his head. "Ahh, you mean the gentleman who came in after me, no, he doesn't appear to be here.."
*Dreslin winced slightly as he picked himself up off the floor*
"Please, come in, it's just me being clumsy!" he said with a laugh

*Drassandre tries the door, discovers that it is indeed unlocked, and enters. She has her eyes down in case Dreslin is unclothed.*
Drassandre: Good morning. Are you well?

He smiled cheerfully, dusting himself off as he did so,
"I feel refreshed, that sleep was certainly needed! And how are you on this bright day?"

Drassandre: Well, Sir, I... we were concerned. You've not been seen for days.

*Dreslin frowned slightly at Drassandre's words*
"Really? I think I only fell asleep a couple of hours ago, tell me, how many days exactly have passed?"

*Drassandre makes a face, as if she isn't exactly sure herself.*
Drassandre: ...Three. We know you didn't disappear in the Flaring, but no one's seen you since. Some of us thought you'd gone, and some of us were worried you'd... 'gone'.

*Dreslin looks even more confused at Drassandre's words*
"How could I have slept through for 3 days? Wait... what do you mean by the Flaring?"

Drassandre: I don't know, Sir. Let's just be glad you woke up! The Flaring... not certain who came up with the name, but it's what happened to the brick. You do remember the brick, don't you?

*Dreslin pushed a strand of hair off his face that had fallen in his eyes, and frowned slightly. He was still unsure as to how he had managed to sleep through for three days, however, he decided that this might be one of this particular realms peculiarities, and turned his attention to the other statement made by Drassandre*
"Yes, I remember the brick, it was floating outside, but didn't you say it was a remnant of an old guest? What happened? As you can see, I'm a little behind with events!" he said with a wry smile
