*Lady Mercury met Daenary's gaze and seemed unperturbed by it. She moved away slightly, to allow the forester who was heading towards the hay loft access to the ladder and called behind to her Daenary*
"To my knowledge, the girl who is injured is more of a healer than a spell caster, I suppose that title is more mine than hers. Am I correct in surmising that you are the kin of our companions?"
*Mentally, she spoke to Leytan through the link*
"I can see the family resemblance! Your kin is every bit as rude as you were when we first met!" Leytan could sense through the link that her anger had faded enough for her to tease him gently, though he could tell it still boiled dangerously close to the surface
*She moved towards where Midnight still lay, and knelt beside her, and wrapping her own cloak around Midnight's shoulders to keep her warm*

* He lightly tessed back*

*Daenary's eyes narrowed on the woman that spoke to her.*
That would depend on whom you're companions would be.
Currently your...healer is giving out..magical vibrations.
*The archer climbing the stairs would pause at the top. Seeing the fallen dark haired female , the pool of blood and her unconscious state. He glanced down to Daenary's.*
There is only a pair of them your Highness one is fallen. Unconscious, bleeding and looks to be extremely ill.
*The bow is set to aim on Lady Mercury . While Daenary's starts moving towards the ladder slowly moving up to the upper loft. Her gaze settling on Midnight only briefly.*
*She walks over to the woman lifting her hand up. She looks at the bleeding wrist though avoids staining her hand or her dress. Seeing the shard of ice slipping through the woman's skin her hand would move to rest on the woman's shoulder briefly. A white, icey imprint being left on the womans clothing when her hand is removed. The air in the stables becoming colder and as the female breathes out her air seems to be barely viewable. Showing the air that filled her currently was more cold than warm.*
*Midnight would seem to improve ever so slightly, her pale complexion seeming to darken.*
Have her taken to the cold room in the lodge immediately I shall follow shortly. Have Aaron escort you.
*The archer shouldered his bow and moved to pick up the fallen woman. Causing her to groan quietly.*

*Lady Mercury moved to the side to allow the them room to move towards Midnight and smiled mockingly*
" I believe you know of whom I speak, although I gather he's not welcome in some parts of your delightful land..."
"I suppose I should be grateful he met with nothing untoward on his way here, given my understanding of the political situation here!"

((With sincere apologies for my overlong and unaccounted absence. I lost track and should've been back a LOT sooner than this...)) *With a sudden high pitched shout from the rooms above him, Coriolis had had to abandon the stolen dinner and make for cover in a hurry. The entire building and its courtyards were now swarming with walking armourplate. Too risky to attempt any kind of "resource gathering" with all the commotion going on. The Tiger left the kitchen and made for more open ground, keeping close to the walls so that paw prints wouldn't immediately be visible in the Winterian snow. Whatever had the garrison spooked, they obvious wanted a piece of it and badly. Maintaining his fade with as little disturbance as possible, the cat clawed his way up on to a shadowy rooftop and took stock of what was happening.* *Things didn't look good. Fresh bootprints trampled their way into and out of the stableblock where He had left his Sister and Lady Mercury. Also, the stone around his neck had barely more than a flicker to it. Either Rhiannon was far away from here (highly unlikely) or someone ELSE nearby had noticed the groups presence and was following a plan of their own.* *All Coriolis could do was settle in, use the snow and shadows for cover and wait for an opening...*

[OOC: ((With sincere apologies for my overlong and unaccounted absence. I lost track and should've been back a LOT sooner than this...)) Amidst a posting drought, a drop of water falls. <-- That's not me being rude: I'm just trying to catch it on my tongue. Don't worry about your absence, Andy. When one day on Knightmare Roleplay lasts three years on the Home Plane, who can blame you for losing track? ;D Maybe I should be chasing people when their attention drifts from the forum; but ideally this is a place of fun, and so OOC hunting isn't something I'm terribly comfortable with. I'll just be glad if your post inspires other absentees, especially Mods, to reengage - or at least to give a picture of why they're unable or unwilling to join in at the moment, and when they might be back. As long as there are still people who care about Surrounds, I don't want to see it become another derelict corner of cyberspace.]

*Midnight at this point in time as her brother observed from above was being picked up with relative ease. Her whole body trembling badly as her bloodied hand clung desperately to the sleeve of the guardian that had scooped her up from the stable. Some chunks of straw falling from her and back to the floorboards.*
*She groaned quietly in pain as she was carried out from the stable and rapidly towards the lodge, the blue pendent about her neck hanging from it silver chain barely gave out any sign of life. Only flickering gently of the gentlest blue.*

*Her gaze is simply filled with mocking in turn then turns simply cold.*
Well I am sure I can have it changed that you're understanding of politics here becomes very, VERY clear.
*Her gaze then drifts to one of the other guards.*
Have her taken to the cold room also along with her companion.
*The words barely stated before she turns and walks to the door leading out of the stable following after the guardian carrying Midnight.*

*Lady Mercury smirked slightly at Daenary's comment about the political situation, then moved with barely a sound as she jumped elegantly out of the hay loft and down to where Daenary had previously stood and moved rapidly to catch up, barely breaking a sweat as she drew level. Her mental link was open to Leytan as she drew close Daenary*
"I'll be brutally honest with you child, I really don't give a damn about the political situation here, unless it directly affects those that I am currently with. Should it affect me, or my companions, then I assure you, you will have my full and undivided attention. Now, what exactly is a "Cold Room"?

*As Lady Mercury attempts to get too close to Daenarys two of her guardians fall to her side. One reaching up to grasp her upper arm though appears to be unarmed obviously just making sure the pale haired female remained safe. Should Lady Mercury fight his attempt to be moved from the Princess she would find herself in a very sticky situation as others that had left with Daenarys that were returning to the house stopped in movement instantly should the stranger turn hostile awaiting her next move.*
Obviously your understanding of this realm is far more lacking than you currently understand it to be.
As for the cold room. The only place your companion shall find some peace and control and seen as you were found with her you can accompany her there and remain by he side.
To observe that nothing untoward is done to her while she is in such a state.
*Ever so faintly a smile touches her lips as she moves faster forward though without missing a beat at the same time.*
Also..
*She looks over her shoulder a moment as she moves to the door leading into the lodge.*
You did not give me a proper answer to my question.
*Lady Mercury may at that point get a certain impression should the Princess ever portray herself as child like it was certainly for her own reasoning's and gains. Before the pale haired female would become simply a silhouette quite confident in those that guarded her.*

"So what do you make of our Royal Host Crown Princess Deanary's Shar then Wren?"
*he asked conversationaly*

*As Leytan spoke, a nearby triangular ear pricked up and swivelled around on its axis. Sounds drifting to it on the breeze thanks to the buildings windows.* [Thinking] A HA! Well that's part of the puzzle at least. The fishman and the dreamer in one part of the building and the womenfolk in the other. hehehe... Just like the old solstice dances when we were younglings. *With the little songbird from before also in residence, things were getting overcomplicated fast and mentions of a so called "Cold Room" didn't sound promising at all. How to draw the guards away? To simply drop into the courtyard and make a racket would make the Watcher very dead very quickly but He still had to get their attention.* *Then a little idea struck him, half opened panes of glass tend to shatter noisily if something hits them in a hurry. Guards get nervous at unexpected sounds and their duty is to investigate. 2+2= an opening He could use.* *Moving as little as He could so as not to disturb the snow. Tiger claws wedged themselves underneath the slate tiles of the roof and pulled a few of them free. With new ammo tucked into a paw, Coriolis hobbled on 3 legs to a better vantage point before hurling them in the general direction of the voices He could hear.* *1 clattered against the wall with a heavy THUNK! while the other 2 found their marks. Seperate windows exploding inward with enough noise to wake the dead.* *Distraction hopefully well underway, a faded feline scuttled around the back of the stables enroute to a hopefully empty stall. One step closer to those that mattered.*

*The sounds of the broken windows would echo down the various halls. Seemingly sound passing quite easily despite the thick walls. The sounds being heard by the two current "prisoners". Perhaps causing some annoyance by Leytan if he could put two and two together himself. *
*The distraction worked for Coriolis two groups moving towards where the "core" of the sounds came. A larger group would gather in a tight circle about Lady Mercury. Three of which bringing their hands together and moving their fingers briefly as words were uttered under their breath. If Lady Mercury could sense magic being ready to cast she would feel a sudden surge of energy bound around her ready to be cast should any including her become hostile.*
*The guardians and foresters seeming to grow in number as more appeared from within and about the lodge to search for the cause of the broken windows.*
*The feline may have made it easier for him but now life for the others would become increasingly difficult and any chance for discussion and explanations was quickly become obvious that any such would have to be in waiting now..*
*Lady Mercury would be lead guarded to the cold room a couple of set of stairs down from the ground floor. If she came willingly without causing any trouble the trip would be a smooth one.*
*Daenary's continued to follow the guardian carrying Midnight and more guards were posted out side of Leytans and Wrens room.*

*Lady Mercury smiled to herself as Daenary moved away and projected a message to Leytan*
"Remind me not to judge a book by it's cover, your kin reminds me as to how I imaging you were when you were younger!"
*She nodded towards Daenary and offered a slight bow, for once, it was completely sincere*
"I thank you for your kindness and help in healing our wounded."
*Lady Mercury moved forward, however, as she did so, the sound of shattering glass seemed to explode nearby and stopped dead, her eyes flashing around to ensure there was no ambush there. Around her, she felt her escort cast some sort of spell, and decided now was not a good time to see who had the stronger magic, and moved quietly with the guards towards the cold room*
"Because sometimes, discretion is the better part of valour!" she thought to Leytan

*The cold room was a rather oddly shaped room. The room itself was a oval shape while the ceiling was slightly domed. Though not quite as lavish as the rest of the lodge the room was obviously not kept for prisoners. It was large enough to comfortably keep three though only two single beds were kept near one edge of the room. The floor was laden with heavy fur. The mattresses once sat or layered upon would be soft and covered with heavy blankets, furs and wools.*
*The walls themselves were light in colour and had no paintings or pictures. Four heavy candelabras hung on the wall at the north , east , south and west "points" of the room.*
*Nothing bar the beds and candelabras and the furnishings of floor and bed were in the room.*
*Midnight was laid on one of the beds after the covers had been pulled back. No one seemed to care or perhaps notice the state of her attire bar to remove her shoes and put them under the bed. Once covered up a bowl of steaming water and cloth was brought to her seemingly only seconds after her being laid to rest. *
*While a few of her guards hustled and bustled in and out of the room Daenarys moved to kneel beside the bed and dipped the cloth into the water. With her overall appearance, expression it seemed the position was far from pleasing her but she quickly cleaned the wound to Midnights hand for now not seeming to spare her attention to Lady Mercury until she felt Midnights body heat begin to rise.*
*Lady Mercury was observed though the circle about her loosened silently moving to remain within the hall that lead to the room.*
*Upon entering the room Lady Mercury would feel a rather strange sensation over whelm her. Should she attempt to cast a spell she would find she was unable to quite grasp it. bar perhaps the most basic of spells the others would seem to simply remain beyond her grasp.*
//OOC: : Should the mind connection between Lady M and Leytan be a spell up to you whether it falls into a basic spell or not. Should it simply be a mental link between the two it would remain in tact with ease. Should it fall into beyond her grasp the connection would go as soon as she steps over the thresh hold.))
*A clean bandage would be brought to the room by that time Daenary's would of rose to her feet once feeling the chilling Winterian magic ease within Midnight rendering her currently safe.*
I ...regret such extremes are to be taken but currently you are too...wild for any other reasoning and your comrade here would not survive the night should she be any where else.
*Daenary's cold gaze fell on Lady Mercury finally as she spoke and moved from Midnight for another to start attending her.*
Especially with who ever decided to break the windows about. If a comrade of yours also ...I would advise seeking a less...attention grabbing trouble making comrade.
