*Indeed the idle banter could wait as the trail of pawprints and blood spots were already near a quarter mile away. It was only now, with the adrenaline draining from his body, that Coriolis started to feel the steadily thumping ache from the wound Wren had inadvertantly given him. His flank twinging under the strain of his charge and the normally light pelt stained a muddy brown from the drying blood.*
*The Tiger followed the road ahead making little effort to stay hidden. With the thick brush on either side there didn't seem any need to. Any ambush would be given away by the sounds of movement or the trampled foliage of hiding. He didn't relax fully though, there was a noticeable lack of game or bird near him as He travelled. Not even a Rabbit or Starling high-tailing it from his approach. That only meant one thing, something ELSE had already driven them away.*
*As usual, there was likely more guards or Hunters ahead that the Watcher would be forced to circumvent. Oh well, at least if they were chasing him they wouldn't be harrasing the tourists He'd left behind with Rhiannon. "Every cloud..." and all that.*
*With his wounded flank now screaming at him for mercy, Coriolis eased back from charge to gentle canter. Trying not to shy a paw as He moved. If something WAS out there He'd need every bit of Agility He had to keep the locals from laying him by the hearth permanently...*

[ModNote: Daenary's Shar's posts in this thread include actions and speech of the character but also of NPCs without clearly indicating which is which. To reduce confusion I will be modifying the NPCs to a different colour.]
*Time was passing rapidly, for a time all that could be heard was the sound of hooves hiting the icy snow and distance bird calls. Some of them actual bird calls others mimicked sounds used by Daenary's forest guards and hunters., for Daenary's the noise became back ground noise, not truly penetrating her ears to be recognized in her brain but a distance almost comforting buzz, then suddenly it all seemed to go quiet. The horses paused briefly before starting up again at a slower pace, Daenarys lifted her head for the first time in a while glancing around. One hand moving from the hold of the leathered rein.*
*Up ahead a dark green garbed forester watched from up a tree at the happenings down below, not there was much but strangers were in the land, with new scents and ways that made them dangerous, the man himself had counted at least two, one dark haired woman and a man, and also a peculiar acting feline.*

*Leytan was still trying to haul Wren back to his feet when he sudenly became aware of a feeling of being watched.*
"On second toughts Wren stay down for now. I've got a feeling we may have attracted someone or something intrest."
*He whispered to his freind before slowly and nounchalantly turnning round as if to talk to Lady Mercury, all the while scaning the horrizon and the wooded areas for any sign of their observer.*

*A couple more of the foresters moved closer towards the gathering of people but they moved silently, not really leaving foot prints in the snow or causing any movement to give them away. One of two shared a questioning look and the older man, with salt and pepper hair nodded his head slightly, tilting his head gently to indicate the man just rising from the one lying down.*
*He waited for a sudden sounding rush of bird noises again some fabricated, some true to cover up the sound of him talking.*.*
That is Leytan, do not harm him but capture he is dangerous.

*Leytan lissned intently he heard the bird sounds something sounded odd about them. Again his eyes scaned the tree line.*
"Isabel."
*He called out to Lady Mercury*
"Don't wander to far away now will you there's a good girl.....you never know what you may run in to."
*As he said this he un-hooked his crossbow from his bealt and made an obvious show on flicking the safty catch off.*

*Further up the path. Coriolis faded and kept low to the ground. He was struggling to tell exactly what was natural and what was mimicry and it troubled the Watcher. The "natural" order was that HE should be doing the observing and not be the one that was observed. It was this lack of control that made his heart beat faster. An arrow or other projectile could fly from nowhere at any moment and even with Feline reflexes, there would be little He could do to avoid it.*
*On instinct, He circled around in a wide arc from the path. That damn bird of prey was still above and it was only a matter of time before it would be recalled to the Falconer. Moving at an even but careful pace, a predatory trick of the light made His way through the trees...*

*Lady Mercury grinned insolently at Leytan's comment*
"Don't worry love, I'd feel sorry for the one that mistook me for a poor hapless female"
*As she spoke, her mind was already casting several spells*

*Meanwhile....*
*Daenary's looked up once more her head clearing completely of fogginess as her hawk hovered briefly then went aroind in a slow circle, she let out a high pitched whistle, a couple of short bursts, she then began to speed up her horses movements with two short but sharp jabs to her horses sides.*
*The salt and peppered haired man was slowly moving closer to the black haired woman and man, taking a slow deep breath a small tingle going along his spine.*
Magic...
*He muttered quietly under his breath, the closest forester, her nodded his head to and indicated the people, unaware of where or who the magic was coming from but he gave the warning none the less.*
Capture but do not harm, and especially do not kill him, or it will be all our heads.
For now do not harm the others but capture if need be, if they try to harm him, do what ever is needed. If they should try and hurt us then you know what actions to take.
(OOC: Just as a warning for all those involved in the thread please note if any of the foresters or fellow Winterians are killed Daenary's WILL be after that persons head!))

*Lady Mercury looked grim faced as she glanced around them*
"So, what;s the plan? I can probably get us out of this quite easily, but I'm loathe to spill the blood of Leytan's countrymen, unless of course, it's a choice of their lives or ours, plus, we don;t know where our errant companion currently is either..."

*Leytan continued to scan the tree line, he turned his head ever so slightly towards Lady Mercury so as to still keep the trees in view.*
"At the moment Isabel I'm loathed to take any direct action myself without knowing where in Winteria we are."
"So realy we're waiting on our "observer" to make the first move. After that....."
*He trailed off*
"Just pray we're not in East Winteria thats all i'm gonner say."

*Lady Mercury looked slightly alarmed at Leytan's last comment*
"Let me guess, in East Winteria, you're not exactly the world's most popular man, and they all want to see your head on the end of a long sharp object?"

*laughs slightly*
"In so many words Isabel yes though more with the ruleing eltie then the people themselves..... The East Winterian Side of the Royal family are not that well dispose towards the side of the Royal family i'm assosiated with."
"In fact there's somethingof a fued between the two houses and... well lets just say I left one of the Males of their household with a perment, rather sever limp and my usual calling card carved into both his left and right arms."

(OOC: If you don't mind I would like to join this, though I first want to make sure am not interrupting anything. If it does, do not respond to the below post.)
Two figures walked through the snow the lead of which was a large “man”, in traveling robes a masterwork of a sword at his side. A wide brimmed straw hat sent shadows concealing his face. He stood at least twelve feet in height and several feet in width. He walked forward his eyes watching movements and his surroundings, his heavy footsteps left no trace of secrecy or showed any attempted for desecration. Behind him a beautiful elf walked in a sundress, a sun umbrella resting on her shoulder flushed her in a deeper shade as steam slowly drifted from her oak colored skin. Her movements were lithe and left no foot prints with her lightweight and agile features, she moved as if the wind carried her, as her companion moved as if boulders held his feet. They had traveled far, and though the woman moved as if she was dancing around her companion her form and stature were no less noble a warriors then her brutish companion. The man held his hand to hold, as he strained his ears his eyes searching the sky and forest, several times did he believe to make out a figure before loosing it to the horizon of greenery and white.

[OOC:- Welcome to Surrounds. You've wandered into this plot at a rather awkward moment for us, a setpiece is in the process of slowly being put together. (The joys of RL and writers block) However, we can try to shoehorn you in somewhere. Admittedly, it may take a little shuffling to do so. Be aware that everyone around you is doing their utmost to stay hidden and NO-ONE is untrained in that art. ] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Thinking to himself] Bingo... There they are... *Just as He'd hoped, The little Snow Hawk had lead the Big Cat right to what He was looking for. Gently and slowly He broke FADE and stalked behind the Woman on horseback as Her attention was focused toward Rhiannon and the others. The aura of magic was around Her and, as the Draconians before, She could be sensitive to the skills He had. He lay down a moment and let the steady snowfall clump on to his pelt across the back and shoulders. breaking up the tell-tale outline that his adversaries could be looking for. The horses sudden movement was a worry but this ol' hearth rug knew what He was doing... Crawling with his belly to the ground, inch by careful inch, the Tiger moved in on his target. A single mishapen piece of White and Black fur amongst a blanket of snow and tree roots...

*The snow hawk began to return to her mistress, making a slow dive down and landing on her shoulder with ease. To her there was now no danger, the tiger approached unseen by the bird.*
*Daenary's rose one hand to her shoulder letting the bird settle on her hand as her horse paused in movement with a quick tug of her other hand on the reigns.*
I see you have been taking time to hunt this morning.
*Her gaze was focused on her pet and she seemed ignorant of the approaching danger.*
