*The woman stared out of the window as she watched the snow fall down heavily once again, though when the moon did break through the clouds and lit up the snow it held a magical quality to her, giving extra light to the darkened woods though albeit briefly before the heavy cloud cover hid the moon from sight once again.*
*There was a cautionary almost silent knock at the door causing the woman to slowly turn away from the window and brought her gaze to the rest of the room.*
*The room was large and rather lavish in condition, from the deep animal rugs on the floor, the ornated ceiling, the well done paintings that hung from the walls. The walls a pale cream in colour and the floor where not rugged were simple wooden flooring.*
*The woman herself stood tall with her pale hair falling down about her face and shoulders straight while her blue icy cold eyes narrowed on the door disliking being disturbed from her private thoughts but she knew there was little point to bringing her wrath down on the knocker it was likely more political twaddle from one of the other royal families that would need her attention.*
Come in!
*She called slightly sharper and louder than she intended but the door opened quickly and one of the servants walked in holding a small piece of parchment. The young servant nodded her head slightly and dropped the parchment on the desk before quickly leaving.*
*As soon as the door was clsoed once again the woman fought the urge to run over to her desk and tear open the roll but she forced herself to remain calm and collected as she gathered her strength to read what it contained.*
*Her hands shook slightly as she finally gathered enough up to unroll it her gaze quickly looking over the obviously quickly scrawled words and the official seal of one of the cities her brother had been causing trouble in.*
To Crown Princess Daenary's Shar, I regret to inform you that your appeal for the criminal Leytan also known as the "Ice Killer" has been been rejected and that he is to be hung on the dawn of tomorrow until he is dead.
Justice of the Peace
*The woman threw the parchment into the roaring fire, before storming over to the window once more, a pale hand resting against the window pane lightly.*
I can no longer help you out of this mess brother Leytan, I am sorry.
*She whispered to the empty room before lowering her head.*

*The snow had stopped falling in the early morning hours, slowly the clouds and passed and a faint orange dawn began to dawn over the lands of Winteria, a dying fire burned slowly and gently in the vast bedroom, while a mound huddled under the blankets seemed to be in almost constant state of movement, rolling from one side to the other and possibly other. Soon a sigh of exasperation filled the air and a pair of strong, agile legs kicked over the heavy over throws and furs. Half of them falling to the floor in a tangled heap of fabrics and colours.*
*This room was a dark green colour and had several sets of candelabras dotted along the walls and in the corners of the room, the candles almost burnt down completely*
The tangled , pale haired woman rose from the now empty bed, having to untangle some of the sheets from around her legs as she did so.*
*Her eyes were red rimmed, her nose pink , her eyes also puffy and slightly blood shot.*
*She walked across the floor heading to one set of windows and opening the curtains.*
Dawn has risen......
*She slumped a moment her head leaning against the cool of the window pane.*
*For a few moments her body stilled bar her back which seemed to rise and fall rapidly before she straightened herself up, wiped away the tears that had tasted her eyelashes before walking over to the bedroom door, opening it wide and leaning out. Already the rest of the house awake and several servants hustled and bustled back and forth tending to various chores.*
Have the men ready a hunting party, and have Shayna readied.
*Two of the passing servants nodded and headed in different directions.*
*The woman closed the door and walked over to a dark wood dresser sitting on the stool in front of it beginning to make herself ready ignoring the physical side of her inner turmoil, by the time she would be done there would be no signs of anything being wrong.*

* A little over two hours later, the blonde haired woman was walking towards the front door of her estate, two servants quickly opening the door for her to pass though the arch way into the cold, white, harsh world of Winteria. Perhaps after so many years of a seemingly never changing world of white she should be long bored with the scenery that surrounded her. Especially as she had never took a foot step out of the lands boundaries.*
*As she new any sign of what ever she had felt or was feeling had now been masked if not removed from the public eyes. Her cool blue eyes scanned the land and trees. Her pale hair was not tied up into a firm plait and then scoped up out of the way, the tip of the plait tied into her hair. Her feet were now in soft but thick heavy boots, thick trousers, a heavy warm top and a fur coat wrapped around her, a heavy hood ready to be lifted, long enough to hide her face from view if wished.*
*As she stepped out onto the heavy snow she let out a low, then high whistle, a loud screech came from the back of the house just seconds before a snow hawk appeared in the sky coming down and landing on her shoulder with grace and ease. One gloved hand reached up to give the head a light stroke.*
Good morning Shayna.
*She spoke almost with a slight modicum of warmth in her voice as she approached one of three tethered horses, the snow crunching under her foot steps.*

*The snow hawk lifted herself from the womans shoulder taking into the currently bright blue yet ice cold skies, while the woman seemed to jump smoothly onto her horse, a dark grey one with slight "webbing" of black fur along her face. With a gentle but firm pat to the horses shoulder they took off, several people following behind, two on horses, others wrapped up warmly and walking, while others seemed to plainly fade out of view disappearing into the trees.*
*She kept the pace slow and prolonged as if carefully and specifically hunting for something. Soon though the estate faded into the snow and she and her servants, and scouting snow hawk traveled across Winteria.*

[ModNote: Continued from Winteria - Off Piste.] *Midnight only just saw the tiger pass under the dragon as he came out from the other side, , the dragon was impassive to the defeat, uncaring about the tigers hairs breath success. Where as the female Watcher and rider for a moment frowned at the black and whites pest's success.* *As the dragons feet landed loudly on the ground, a heavy sound of snow being crunched under her feet, Midnights right leg lifted up instantly into a swing as she slid down the dragons neck then, shoulder and then wing, landing on the ground, only just spotting a distant speck of moving black dots. The tigers roar echoing in the cold air, her breathing frosting the air.* *She glanced back at the others before going tot he dragons head.* Be sure to find a safe place to slumber until I come to you once again dragon. *The dragon barely gave chance for the others to slide already taking into a run, her wings starting to flap uttering nothing , the movement causing any dawdlers to fall the distance to the heavily snow covered ground.* *Midnight without saying a word to the other began to follow the foot prints of the tiger.*

*A distance away, Daenary's eyes darted as she spotted a glimpse of flashing silver, or blue in the sky. Her eyes narrowing at the movement as something was reflected from the shining sun, but her attention turned back to her hunt, as she noticed a large but old stag in the distance.*
*Up above in the sky the dragons flight was easy and refreshing the dragon some how refreshed by the cold atmosphere. If she had bothered or cared to pay attention tot he ground below rather than scanning the horizon for a suitable bed she would of noticed that her now grounded travelers.* were heading into a group of others and the collision seems definite....*

*Leytan was all to pleased to scramble off of the dragons back and back on to terra firma again. It wasn't untill he hit the ground and felt the snow crush under his feet that he remmembered just where it was that the dragon had brought them to.*
*A strange feeling of melancoly happines washed over him and he looked slowly around takeing it all in and then just in the distance he spoted something...hovering in the sky. He strained to see better....he smiled, it appeared to be a snow hawk *
*He turned to Midnight.*
"Midnight if you still have any teleapathic link with your brother i'd advice him that we're in the South Winterian game reserve and he's bounding threw it in the form of a Tiger....there's likely to be any number of hunting parties from 1 to 10 who would love a tiger skin to add to their trophy room."
"And may i also sujest we head to the city my sister lives there mostly, if not there she will be in her country side estate ...it has been a while since i was here so there is the chance she moved but information on such will be in the city."

(OOC: Not to be picky but at this point the groups are a great distance apart still, a dragon is far bigger than a bird to notice, also seeing a snow hawk does not mean it is a particular bird, there would be wild snow hawks to . It is has been a while since Leytan visited Winteria a lot can change in that time especially a persons place of residence.)

*Midnight gave a quick side glance to Leytan a moment before giving him a casual shrug of her shoulders.*
My brother *she seems to almost hiss the word out in a cat like way, the word dragged out longer than needed with a touch of anger, and frustration but something else buried underneath.* ...is well aware or should be by now of the dangers any forest and it's occupants can bring. If he is unable to avoid such trouble then it is his own fault. He was raised in the woods as much as I was as a bairn.....besides if anything does happen perhaps he will be brought down a peg or two or that ego of his pulled back into some semblance of control.
*She slows her walking pace slightly, avoiding the tiger prints as much as possible to not crush them into the snow, walking to the side slightly, staying close to Leytan but at the same time giving herself some personal distance from all.*

*Lady Mercury smiled slightly at Midnight's comments then glanced over to at Leytan*
"Is it just Coriolis who needs to avoid the hunting party, or is it us as well? I'm slightly concerned that the welcome we receive from certian members of Winterian aristocracy will be less than warm..."

*Looks at Lady Mercury and smiles weakly at her.*
"And you'd be right to be concerned Isabel....In truth its all going to come down to just WHERE in Winteria we actualy are. The South section of the winterian royalty is by en-large more favobly disposed then the North....of course if we're in what classes as East Winteira...well just hope we're not."

*As the group either ran ahead or dawdled behind the outline of the distant city became bigger and the larger details more noticeable. In the distance a hunting group continued to travel over the land already various animals had been hunted down in various manners, the usage of rope , bow and arrow or netting being the three favored methods of hunting by the group.*
*Though the woman's blood normally surged in enjoyment while hunting this morning it brought no pleasure at all. Her ice cold eyes narrowed as she continued to scan the horizon, her snow hawk flying higher and further away from her gave a shrill call to her causing her head to jerk up to the sky briefly reminded of the strange creature or something that had been spotted earlier she smiled faintly as she listened for the almost soothing sounds of Shayna's wings beating to be heard but at the same time her hand went to her back grasping the feathered tip of one arrow and bringing it down to her side.*

'I'm just going to lie here for a while' Wren gibbered, lying prone on the ground in the same position he had collapsed into after stepping off the dragon. 'I may be some time.'

*Leytan looked over at Wren, rolled his eyes slightly and went over to him.*
"Wren mind if i give you some advice...If you lay down here for to long your gonner by laying down permently."
"The tempreature here is below all know levels of cold...you'll catch hypathermia quicker then you could say elf three times backwards. Now come on."
*He reches down and hauls Wren to his feet.*
"Just keep your wits in check till we find some forme of acomadation and then you can have your little neverous break down in the warmth and with the knowlage that your not going to freeze to death...ok with you??"
