'Sweet HELL!' gasped Wren, clutching his ears at the sound of the Watcher's almighty roar. 'That moggy is loud when he wants to be...'
"I don't know about you but i don't like the way this looks, sounds or smells. What you say we take the initiaive and take a more pro-active role in this situation."
'Works for me,' he grinned. 'But wait for them to make the first move. If I have to endure another lecture from the Watcher, I'm liable to carve my own ears off.'
Gripping his daggers tightly, he followed Leytan into the foliage.

*Meanwhile, a lazily swung sword blade was being swiped at with a dirk claw CLANG!! The Watcher was in a bit of a quandry now. He'd revealed his presence in the hope of a chase (hopefully away from Lady Mercury in her tree) but the Draconians willfull disinterest had left him with nowhere to really turn. He could either turn and run, risking them continuing up the path and catching up with the group before the Dragon could find them, or He could rush headlong into a fools battle that would likely get him killed. Coriolis could hold his own in a fight but taking on both of these overgrown geckos at once wasn't a good idea.*
*He decided to stick to his plan and blaze a trail between those possible outcomes. The Tiger hunkered down with fangs out, yowling and growling like the realms angriest ever house cat. If He could annoy them enough, one of the waarriors would hopefully snap and make after him. He could lose his pursuer in the trees easily before looping back and continuing the journey while they tried to regroup.*

*mean while...*
*Well the dragon had certainly chosen a cozy quiet spot out in the middle of no where, the almost sudden silence of the cave as she entered it was over whelming but Rhiannon continued to press into it, though her foot steps slowed a couple of beats as she more focused on her actually hearing anything. The cave was certainly far bigger than expected though there was still a slight chill that seems to hang in the air with the dragons presence being close, though at the same time of course there would be a chill seen as her clothes at least were still wet from the swim here.*
*She paused in her movements a moment completely for a few seconds closing her eyes and opening her senses a little more, sometimes finding taking away the aid of sight helped the hearing senses, there was a slightly movement ahead and slightly to the right and then a quiet breathing tone that hinted at sleep. She sighed quietly, waking a dragon was never a good idea, but to wake one before a journey that they were expected to make and carry others was going to be a little ...more than unwelcomed..*
*But she knew what was coming had to be done as always. She tapped on the ground with her foot a few times the sound slowly becoming louder as she tapped the ground harder but the even breathing continued undisturbed.*
You know you find difficult places to get to, difficult situations to put me in and yet you sleep as calmy as a baby.
*She spoke loudly smiling faintly, she knew the comment would hopefully awake the dragon though perhaps she hoped not her dislike at being compared to a "lowly" being.*
*She did not see the eyes open but she did hear the change in breathing and slight movement from the source.*
You know guardian, that it is not wise to wake a sleeping dog let alone a sleeping dragon. I would hope your fore bears at least taught you that but to wake a dragon through insult is such a way to invoke wrath and at least another decent drop from a high place.
*Rhiannon sighed quietly.*
In time you will get to understand I do nto like waking you in such ways but soemtimes it is needed, I have found trouble here and need to move away as soon as possible though my companions....
*There was a sudden hissing in of air that caused her to stop speaking then a low rumbling growl.*
I am seriously hoping you are not wishing to turn me into some type of transportation service for you and those you travel with?
They...we...I need your help in this matter dragon, I hate the idea just as you do but I also need to be able to help them and only with your aid I can besides I think the place we are traveling to would interest you. It is a place of snow and ice and constant cold. I think you would find it more suitable than these warm, damp caves.
*She opened her eyes to see two large blue eyes glaring at her.*
You certainly are your mothers daughter, though she knew never to lie or twist words with us she also knew how to give the truth and be willing to bend a knew rather than some of the prouder of your kin.
I will take you and your companions but only because the idea suite me rather than benefits you I hope you understand.
*Rhiannon sighed and nodded ehr head slightly.*
Thank you.
*She quickly turned and walked towards the entrance of the cave back into the light letting the dragon coming out what when she wished. Giving her some time as she herself watched the sky and the water.*
Well they should be long at the clearing by now.

*Flaccus almost lost his already loose grip on his sword with the cat-thing (it was clear to him now that this was no ordinary cat, for it actually blocked his swings) parrying him. Now, he was getting annoyed. When the cat-thing began to behave like any animal would to when cornered, he actually brought up his sword into a real (defensive) fighting stance. He looked over his shoulder behind him and spoke to where he thought Addis was.*
"Hey, brother, I'm going to go ahead and get serious. This isn't an ordinary cat, its blocking me. How about I-"
*Flaccus looked on some of the squares on the blade, and saw a muddy paw-print.*
"You, bastered. I just cleaned that! Do you know how hard it is to get the blood and icor off a sword after killing a few Pheryxian Reapers?!"
*Flaccus begins to take steps toward the cat-thing, still in a defensive style. His tail does get a bit stiff and stay to the side, though.*
[OOC: Uh ... Hope there aren't any diehard magic the gathering fans here, I think I just butchered the spelling on one of the main villans (well, villinous race).]

[OOC: Uh-oh, my German heritage is coming to haunt me, I'm fighting on two fronts . . .]
*Addis watches as Flaccus becomes agitated, than agressive with the furry annoyance. Addis continued to watch, ready to cast Hold Person on either Flaccus or the cat. Then, however, some of the scales on the back of his neck (he doesn't have hair . . . ) began to tingle and he looked behind him. Nothing was in sight, at least not yet. He could have sworn he heard something move. Looking at Flaccus and shaking his head, spoke in Draconic than turned and slowly walked towards the sound.*
"Brother, be careful and don't drop your guard. I heard something nearby and am going to check it out. You are not to chase it too far, and you do know what I mean by too far. I shall return shortly." --------- [OOC: Did that because we kind of have two scenes going on.]
*Addis kept walking a few feet, turning to where he heard somewhat muffled conversation. He could not make out the words, but they did sound human - something that spelled out threat to this hunted Aurak. As he was walking, he remembered that forests were not his strong point when it came to stealth. He did not make to much noise as his somewhat big, clawed feet stepped through the grass. He did make enough noise for somebody on alert to notice. Silently cursing his mistake, he stood still and looked around, a hand still in the air.*

*The first sign Addis got that something was amiss was the suden drop in temprature, then the rush of wind caused by something or someone dropping from a tree just behind him. Next sound he heard was the click of a crossbow fireing pin being primed.*
"Don't move..There is a repeter crossbow pointed right at the back of your neck and its loaded with 12 steel tipped hollow bolts which at this range would cut threw even your scaley skin like a knife threw butter. So unless your feeling incrediably lucky...I'd just relax and we might just avoid unesercery bloodshed."
*The voice which spoke was not loud but it was comanding and it had the chill of a grave about it. Addis recnonised with in the voice the tone of confidence and emotional detatchment of someone who was well versed in the takeing of life...the voice was unmistakably that of a killer.*

'I think you've got this chap covered' muttered a voice to Leytan's right, a voice with no visible source. 'I'm going to make sure the other doesn't back the Watcher into a corner. Shout if you need me, unlikely as that may be.'
With that, Wren departed, the only evidence being the crack of a branch being snapped by an unseen foot.

Meanwhile... [OOC:- hehe, love these "pinball" threads we get into sometimes. ] [Thinking] Finally, something goes MY way fer once! *The Tiger faded and, quick as a bolt, circled around behind Flaccus before breaking fade once again. It's with an almost Human whistle that He reveals his position and Crouches in readiness for another swing of that sword. [Still thinking] That's it, make like the big warrior and let yer reactions dictate yer head. C'mon you big lummox, BITE ME! *Each movement around is slightly further away from his prey and in a different direction. Building up his opponents momentum, trying to make the red mist drop.*

*Addis stood erect and looked over his shoulder.*
[OOC: Speaking in Common] "So, you can see through my invisibility? Well then, I see no reason to worry about how long it will last."
*Addis becomes fully visible.*
"Although I do agree with you when it comes to avoiding bloodshed, I do not enjoy having my life threatened."
*Addis disappears, reappearing about ten feet from Leytan's right.*
[OOC: Addis used the Aurak Draconian ability to perform a Dimensional Step - it works just like the spell Dimensional Door (for non-D&D players, think of Nightcrawler from XMen.)]
*Addis pointed at Leytan, like he was casting a spell, but in reality he just whispered a single word.*
"Loreat."
*Addis casted the spell Contingency.*
[OOC: Contingency is an awesome spell. I can link together spells I have casted in advance and have those spells only go off when either a certain situation occurs or when the caster says a specific phrase. Examples are what Addis just did or let's say . . . "If I die, the spell True Resurrection is casted.". In this case, Addis just casted Stoneskin, Protection from Arrows, Mirror Image, and Shield. Now there are 11 Addis' standing in a crowd to Leytan's right and left.]
*All of the Addis' speak at once.
"How about you put away your crossbow and any other weapons you may have at the ready. I am not asking you to drop them, just put them away. Now, whom do you serve? The Knights of Solamnia? The elves in either Qualinist or Silvenisti? The Knights of Tahkesis? Or do you serve somebody from any of the other realms I've been to? Zanchin Roho seemed rather mad when I didn't turn the thirteen keys to his onyx tower . . . "

"Great, now you whistle. Man, I really have to avoid those Dwarf Spirits.... Anyways . . "
*Flaccus leans forward, than runs at the cat, taking one massive swing as he goes past.*

*Leytan smiled his sinister smile but he sliped the fireing pin back into place and lowerd his crossbow.*
"Well i know when i'm out matched...after all A Man's got to know his limitaions."
"As for your question I don't serve anyone at this time although I am a follower of The Cult of Ebbira and a member of the Knights Of Malhara. But since i don;t know your face i don't think your on their bad books."
"I'm a Soilder of Fortune by trade."

*Addis scratched an itch on his neck as he listened to Leytan's words. He wracked his memory for the factions he had listed. Not remembering or knowing of any of them, he gave a mental sigh of relief while keeping his guard up.*
"And the second one? The one who mentioned keeping 'the watcher' from being cornered? Where do his loyalties lie? This watcher, would it happen to be the cat that became quite a nuisance and . . . "
*The phrase Addis didn't say was " . . . I sent my brother to deal with . . . ". He made a quick gesture and a shadow appeared, a shadow identical to the Aurak himself.*
"Keep an eye on my brother. Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid, which I have the feeling he will do. And, please touch him so I can cast a spell on him. That will be all, now go."
*The shadow nodded in understanding and disappeared into other shadows. Addis then turned his attention to Leytan.*
"So sorry, I came here with my brother and he does tend to get himself into trouble. I am impressed, I do not get surprised often, even when I am tired. Would I be correct to assume you were more of an assassin type than a normal sell-sword?"

* His Brother I suspect was having all kinds of "fun" with the bored and mischievous Watcher...* Over here ye overgrown walking handbag! you telling me you can't hit what you can't see?!? ;D *That first swing had been like a slow motion strike from the chariots of fire. Easily avoided, though barely in order to keep his opponents interest and false hopes up. Fully enjoying the moment Coriolis was now switching forms as He faded back and forth and around the clearing. It gave the impression that the Draconian was fighting multiple enemies, the white tiger that had engaged them first and a human Forester disappearing and reappearing like a demented nightcrawler.* *He'd been lucky that the "brains of the outfit" had moved back the way they had travelled, probably to investigate Leytan and Wren. This gave the Watcher the opening He needed.* *In one final turn, the cat faced Flaccus and vaulted over him using the trees for leverage. In mid flight, He became Human. A quarterstaff swing aimed for the back of Flaccus head in one final note of defiance to the stronger warrior.* *Landing softly, once again behind the Draconian and on the path away from Lady Mercury, He broke fade with that trademark Wry grin and filled the air with one last blast of the dratted whistle from his lips* Over here... Come and get if you think you can...

*Flaccus gave a growl of annoyance as last attack, which had felled a gold dragon once, missed. He then noticed that he was in possible trouble when he saw the cat run around him along with a few other people. Flaccus stopped his assault and assumed a defensive stance. He managed to side-step the quarterstaff that came out of nowhere and make a (failed) counter attack. However, he did see the transformation and gave a wicked smile, showing rows of yellow, razer sharp teeth.*
"Good, I thought I had lost it and was losing to a normal house cat. Now . . . stand still."
*Flaccus began another charge. However, this one was a feint. When it was dodged, he rolled to the side and tossed his Swordbreaker at the unidentified foe.*

*Mean while back with Midnight....*
*It took several prolonged moments in Midnights opinion for the dragons blue scaled head to emerge from the cave entrance, her startling icy blue eyes narrowing int he new light, she took a few moments more to fully emerge properly from the cave and then lower herself to the ground properly for Midnight to be able to climb up with as little bother to her and the dragon.*
Thank you for this.
*The dragon nodded ehr head slightly not giving much time before starting to let her wings rise and fall gaining in speed and then taking from the ground as easily as a small sparrow.*
They should be at a clearing not too far from here as you fly by now though we may have people after us for a while.
Oh really? Well at leats you will be providing snacks for the trip.
*She sighed quietly as she tightened her knees grip around the dragons neck. Finally heading back the way she had come wishing she had not taken so long but at least the group should be at the clearing by now as she guided the dragon to the destination.*
