[ModNote: Continued from On The Ground.] *Raven continues on the path from Inn, until she spots a clearing off to one side of the road. She departs the road and tries to make herself as comfortable as possible, whilst maintinaing cover behind some bushes. She beholds the Runed Book she holds in her hands* "Now where have I seen you before..."

*Further down the path a rather disgruntled short haired woman dressed in simple traveling clothing. The shoes are dark green but badly scruffed from long time use and wear, the trousers a dark brown but with lighter patches showing they had needed to be repaired over time, the top coming down to just above her knees a few shades lighter than her trousers but just as patched up especially at the elbows and shoulders. Her hair a light blonde colour that only just came down to her neck almost in a boy like hair style. Her arms wrapped around her waist as she walked along the dirty path every now and then kicking up stones and dust clouds.*
*She had not seen Raven along the path as she kept her gaze focused on the path under her feet but the sound of branches rustling caught her attention cutting off the quiet tune she was humming her movements pausing as she looks up taking in the surrounding area.*

*Raven, having heard the humming and scuffing, had attempted to gain more cover from the bush, which had (Unfortunately) made a noise. Cursing under her breath, she holds perfectly still, hoping to avoid any further noise making. Unfortunately, the cover of the Runed Book has slipped slightly, and is casting a silvery light across the path*

*For minutes her gaze was focused on the trees that followed the path along each side before turning it back to the path catching the glinting of the silver light along the path. Slowly bending down she picked up a large smooth stone on the path and threw it into part of the bushes just a few yards away from the light. She still had not seen Raven but the shimmering light made ehr nervous and tried to cause the possible trouble to show itself.*

*Raven stayed low, and bit her tongure to hold her voice. The book however, came loose in the process and fell to the floor. Raven starts to grab for it, but then keeps her hand back. The book lands just outside of the bushes cover*

*The woman watched the book drop into view and took a few paces towards it before putting some distance between her and it at the same time knowing something or someone had to of dropped it. She walked towards it in a half circle trying to spy who was hiding in the bushes picking up another couple of stones to be thrown just in case the person or thing was or turned in any way hostile towards her.*
*Her gaze came tothe book as she slowly came closer to it.*
Hello?

*Seeing the girl more clearly through the side of the bushes, Raven sees that she is not obviously heavily armed. Weighing this advantage, she stands up*
"uhh.. Ow! Was that stone you?"

*Despite the girls call out of hello into the air she jumps backwards when Raven appears from the bushes, almost falling backwards as she stumbles then tries to right herself up right again while keeping a reasonable distance between herself and the stranger before nodding her head once. Her arms wrapping around her waist once again a large stone held in one other wise empty palm just in case.*
Well you could of been anything so was trying to startle you into action.
Is that book your own?
*Her chin lifting then dropping slightly towards the book with a slightly puzzled look though a hint of worry.*

"The book belongs to me, yes. I was just reading it in the bushes when you threw a stone at me."
*Raven steps toward the book (Not moving her glance from the stranger, and kneels down to pick it up*

Actually I was not throwing the stone specifically at you but where there was possibly something or someone so it would startle them not intended to actually cause injury.
*The stranger in turn keeps her gaze on Raven, taken in her current attire and looks. A brief look of caution briefly stealing over her face as her eyes narrow a little to take in any minor details of her before giving a casual shrug through the shrug hinted at tension and nervousness.*
You should keep your property under better keeping unless you plan on losing them.

*At this stage, footsteps can be heard coming further down the path...*

*The woman's head jerks up and around as she hears the foot steps her gaze coming to the stranger just before he starts to talk, the strange accent making it a little difficult to understand exactly what he was saying, though her grip on the stone in her hand tightens a little just in case though he had given her some information about the stranger standing before her.*
Is he a traveling companion or someone you are trying to avoid?

*Raven casts a glance at the stranger, before turning her attention back to Suh Wok*
"Listen Chinaman. I don't know what your part in this is, but you can consider it over. I have the book, I have all the knowledge I need *She pats the book* right here."
