[OOC: By all the effects, I mean it's just like sleeping in every way, except only for a hour. Sure, I'll post what this Aurak dreams, but remember, Addis isn't like others.]
*As Addis slept, his mind wandered to his past, many years prior to the attack on Ansalon, when Addis was still young...*
*Addis stood in the audience chamber, along with his four brothers; none of which was an Aurak. There was a Sivak, Bozak, Baaz, and a Kapak. He heard the priests of Tahkesis, his goddess, talking to him. Once he got over the shock that he was actually chosen to enter the chamber, he paid attention to the words.*
You have been chosen to do covert missions that will aid the Queen. You five were raised together, along with the dragon Furium Kosis. Your tasks may be suicidal, going directly into enemy territory and eliminating key targets. The attack on Ansalon will occur in the next year. Before than, we are amassing our forces and waking up the dragons from their sleep. YOU however, will act immediatly. Succeed in all tasks you are given, and you may be rewarded with the direct prescence of the Queen of Darkness. Do you understand? Or shall we choose different Draconians? Answer Now."
*Addis, along with his four brothers, answered with a resounding "YES SIR"*

*I think a forrest will do nicely for eliminating this human. Can't have her walking around saying that I cast a spell on her, can I? In the forrest, nobody will find her. And even if people search for her, if there are carnivores around at the time -of if I get really hungry- there won't be a body left to find. Addis thought to himself.*

Maid: I spoke to many shopkeepers, stallholders and market-goers. Most did not want to give me information without payment, and I had none to offer. But I described your friend, just as you told me, and a few folk told me they had seen him in the marketplace earlier today.
*The maid seems to have more to tell, but at this point she pauses and looks at Addis, as if to say, "Have I pleased you so far, my love?"*

Maid: One trader, a young fellow named Trusty Seldam, was most helpful. He told me that after making some purchases, your friend asked him about the local area. When Trusty mentioned the old boarding school, your friend became very interested.

That was this forum's 10,000th post!  ] *Rather than simply answering Addis' question, the maid tries to impress him with her reasoning.* Maid: I'm not sure your friend would be at the school. Nobody is. You see, the place was attacked, it became unsafe, and it had to be closed. Half of it's fallen down, and they say the other half could fall down any day. A man as wonderful as you must have wonderful friends too... and I can't think why one of them would want to visit a wrecked building and put himself in danger. |

Maid: I'm sorry, that was information that they wouldn't give me free. If your gallant friend has indeed ventured to the Boarding School, I suppose you should too, because that's what friends do! But I'm afraid I'm not exactly sure of the route from here to the school. Most folk of the town have never had cause to go there. *The maid looks disappointed in herself for a moment. Then her mood brightens as she remembers something.* Though I do know of people who could help you to find your way there.

Maid: One person who can help you find the school, if she is willing, is its former headmistress, PhoenixFlame. She is actually resident at this very inn, Room 14. But last I knew, she was stepping out to drink at the Crazed Heifer tavern with two friends. You may be able to find her there. You will recognise her quickly, for she always has a phoenix close at hand.
*The maid continues.* Do you want me to accompany you to the Crazed Heifer, or is it your wish that I remain here? I will miss you, but they do say that absence makes the heart grow fonder!
