*In response to these unnerving events, Brother Strange looks into the spirit world, seeking clues as to what is going on, and how it was caused. He can see nothing except that "RingmasterRob's" spirit seems slightly different - wrong somehow. Still not realising his deception, Brother Strange says to the Ringmaster*
"Ringmaster, I do not think you should be performing a mass spell of this significance without at least resting first. Your spirit bears the marks of some terrible attack. The shapechanger may have taken more from you than just your staff."

I assure you Brother this is necessary, for too long I have let this creature stalk the land and now he is attacking innocents to get to me, if he has cast some enchantment upon me this must wait....
*"Rob" places his enchantment on the villagers who come forward, although he misses Ah Wok as he leaves.*
Now, you see Brother, I am fine, I cannot see why you would wish me not to help these people, unless.....
*A look of suspicion comes into his eyes*
Unless I have brought the evil with me!
*Rob casts an enchantment, and chains of light swirl around Strange's feet, pinning him to the ground*
If you are not the Shapeshifter I apologise, but I must be vigilant, I MUST find him...
*"Rob" places a final glyph on the door which glows with arcane fire*
Landlord, guard this monk until I return, his mind may have been affected by dark magic.
*And with that, he hurries out into the market place*

*Although Brother Strange reacts with supernatural speed, this spell could not be dodged. As RingmasterRob leaves, Brother Strange calls after him to reconsider, that his own mind may have been altered... but to no avail. His attempts to reason with the frightened landlord and customers likewise fail.* *After a litle while, attempts to carry on carousing around a frustrated, arguing monk in the middle of the Inn fall flat, and the customers leave. The landlord locks up, and heads upstairs, telling Strange "We don't want no trouble now, just stay calm, and I'm sure, if you are really the Brother, the Ringmaster will release you soon enough."* *Trapped within the chains, Brother Strange tests them with his body, but the magic resists even his supernatural strength. He then tests them with his spirit. Much to his surprise, the spell contains no spirit binding, and his spirit is free to leave his body behind.* *As he heads in the direction the "Ringmaster" went, Brother Strange considers the ugly signs in his mind. A spell is cast, then men burst into flames... Rob's soul seems wrong... he traps Strange at hardly any provocation, yet does not bind Strange's spirit despite knowing it can leave his body...* *While by no means sure, Brother Strange begins to suspect that "the Ringmaster" is not all he appears to be. In which case, was it the real Rob who lay unconcious in the woods, his spirit scarred? If so, what has become of him.* *Through the Spirit world flies the spirit of Brother Strange, knowing that it may have already taried too long, and knowing that in this form it can do little to the material realm.* *Back in the Inn, bound by chains of magic and light, the body of Brother Strange stands stiffly. A casual observer would think he is merely standing still, perhaps meditating in some way. Looking under the hood, however, would show a gray-skinned face with the pallor of death, and touching the cold skin would reveal that he was standing, not by force of muscle and sinew, but by rigor mortis.* [ModNote: Continued in Looking For Rob.]
