*She shifted slightly so that she could take a quick glance at the first person then the second at leat making sure they were safe....well as safe as they could be being grasped by a dragon plenty of feet up in the air but they started to sound paniced which well was unsurprising and more than understandable.*
Rhiannon: Well you can tell her that as many times as you want, and probably show her pictures and give great in depth explantations but none the less....I don't quite think your going to get what you want...until she is ready to put you down. So if I was you I'd stop squirming and sqeualing you may just annoy her and end up with the same fate as the donkey.
*As Rhiannon spoke she took a good look around from the advantage point of being so high up and she had a feeling she knew what the dragon was looking for but they were still heading towards Wolfenden as well so at least her walk would be shorter once they had landed.*

At this last exclaimation, Julian clammed up. On his list of critters he wouldn't like to antagonise, 'dragons' were fairly high up, and despite a fascination of them that at times bordered on the obsessive, he knew when his attentions would be deemed inappropriate.
Instead, he directed himself towards the rider.
'So... you there! Any chance of telling us where we're going, and why precisely you've snapped us up? We do like to know these things, you know...'

*She turns her gaze more directly to Julian shaking her head briefly.*
I didn't pick you up, she did. Of her own choice and will. As for where we are going, we're heading towards Wolfenden, the main town close by but were not actually going there. We'll drop you off nearby.
*There was a quiet almost low rumble that came from the dragons throat that if was a human would of been a laugh a brief flash of ice coming from her mouth hitting a tree and causing it to turn white as if in the middle of winter.*
*Rhiannon glanced around the landscape as she saw a large lake coming into view almost three quaters of the way to Wolfenden and looked down at the dragon as she startsed to make a steep curve. Eventhis curve Rhiannon couldn't keep her grip ont he dragons neck as they flew over the water. The dragon let go of the two strangers as Rhiannon's grip finally gave out and she began a free fall down into the water. *
DAMN DRAGON!
*Was shouted up from the rapidly descending female before a blue glow surrounded her form for a few minutes and the woman became the panther, disappearing under the water for a few minutes before rising to the surace. The dragon in the mean time chose a large empty bit of land to settle down on a loud thumping sounding with each step she made as she ehaded towards a large cave.*

As Julian plummetted towards the lake below, the last thing to flash through his mind was NOT the iminent and quite possible death within the next minute or so, but the fact that it would be bought about in one of the most undignified ways imaginable. He was mentally ranking it above 'falling into a vat of jelly' and beneath 'run over by a traction engine' when he finally hit the water with a freezing crash.
He floundered beneath the depths, his senses briefly hit for six. Already he could feel the water numbing his skin, sending painful tendrils of cold through his body. Darting around wildly, he could see no sign of Kenji, nor of the strange woman who had so inelegantly joined in their watery plunge. All he could make out was a flickering light above him, which he took to be the surface.
He kicked up, but only succeeded in falling further from the light. Realising he was being dragged down, he pushed at his shoulders and felt his full length cromby coat fall from him, swirling down into the waiting depths below. He instantly felt the great weight fall from him, and with a kick he propelled himself towards the light, mindful that he could only hold his breath for another twenty seconds or so.

Kenji closed his eyes as he smashed against the surface of the water. He panicked wildly as he was sucked down beneath the waves; drowning was one of his all-time worst fears.
He kicked his legs and flailed his arms manicly, in a semblance of the motion he knew as swimming. It wasn't working. In a shock sense of panic he gasped for air, and inhaled a lungful of water. He wanted to cough and splutter but doing so would be disastrous. The feeling of acid starting burning in his stomach, his ears were throbbing, and his eyes were clenched shut. He'd never been able to open his eyes underwater.
With a mad flourish he flailed his legs again, and felt the sensation of air against his face. He gulped and gagged for air, before falling beneath the surface again. After another few seconds of desperate flailing, Kenji's head errupted from the lake's cold water.
"BLOODY HELL" he gagged, doing his best to tread water. Finding land was a very urgent priority. He looked around for Jules but saw nothing, and so began the desperate race for the shore before he sank again.

*Rhiannon mentally sighed as she looked around the surface of the water, she could count one man making a break for the nearest part of land as quickly as his legs and arms could take him there.Her black fur shimmering in the sulight, the fur preventing the cold of the water affecting her as much and the thickness of the fur buffeting the blow of the impact of the water enough to prevent her from becoming senseless. Her four legs moved rapidly under the water causing small waves to move around her as she slowly had to swim in circles in this form her blue gaze looking for the second man , trying to at least find a location of him in the water.*

Something large and moving swam across Julian's vision, blocking the flickering light indicating the surface. His ability to see underwater was limited, but he attempted to focus on whatever it was that was now in his path.
What he saw made him stop dead in his ascent. Swimming above him, clearly illuminated in the brightness, was unmistakably a panther.
Seeing such a creature underwater would be enough to rethink anyone's plans, but for Julian this proved to be most unwise. The threshold of what his lungs could endure had been breached, and he began spluttering as water made its way down his throat. Bubbles arose from his mouth, and darted up towards the looming shape...

Kenji half-swam, half-crawled through the shallows near the shore. As his legs found purchase, he began to relax considerably. When he could stand with the water at chest height, he turned back to yell to Jules.
He couldn't see him. He couldn't see him anywhere. His relief quickly flushed back into panic as his eyes darted wildly over the surface of the lake.
Jesus, you don't drown, not because of my mistake.
Just then, he saw a glint of black just beneath the surface. It wasn't Jules.. looked more like an animal. Perhaps it was the cromby... Kenji looked at the vacant shore and the deserted forests that surrounded him.
...Damn it...
"JULIAAAN! Hold on!" he yelled. He removed his leather jacket and threw it close to the shore, then dived back into the water.

*She continues to swim in circles moving a little here and there to try and find the second man then she stills as much as she possibly can while still keeping herself afloat on the surface.*
Come on, come on where are you?
*She thinks to herself scanning the water again briefly before lowering her head into the water trying to keep her eyes open as much as possible when she spots the rising bubbles coming from no where floating past her nose and up to the surface.*
*She glances down and spots the second man, or was it the first, well she couldn't tell and i really didn't currently matter, she briefly rose back up tot he surface taking in a deep a breath as possible filling her feline lungs to capacity before kicking down wards into the water withal four legs going as rapidly as possible, kicking against the water hard to be able to force her weight down wards to wards the stranger. *
*Having to force her eyes to keep open as the water presses against them blurring her vision making the stranger no more than a large blurry creature , she swims around him until she is at his back then opens her jaw slightly her mouth slightly filling with water while her teeth grasp at the man clothing collar at the back of his neck hoping he doesn't suddenly try and pull away from her or start kicking as she closes her teeth tightly around the clothing preventing any more water filling her mouth and trying to start pulling him up to the surface of the lake, kicking her back legs harder, unable to use her front in fear of hurting the stranger.*

Before he lost consciousness, the last feeling Julian experienced was a sharp tugging upwards, and a strange feeling of propolsion coming from behind him. He tried to turn his head to ascertain what it was, but all his strength and will seemed to have left him.
Resigning himself to a watery fate in some obscure part of the universe, Julian felt his head tip forward as he allowed the darkness to claim him.

Kenji opened his eyes again, the splashing water causing a pain and a blurring of his vision. Jule's floating body was nearer now...Kenji prayed he would be in time.
Then he saw Jules rear up, and dive beneath the surface of the water. What the hell was going on? Surely bodies float to the surface? Good god, maybe some animal got him! After all, there were dragons here so who knows what other beasts might exist.
Bloody hell, what do I do know? I can't fight a sea monster and carry Jules... hell, I'm sinking myself...
He clenched his eyes tightly shut to stop a sudden sting of salt in his eyes, and continued across the fresh waters of the lake towards the spot where he saw Julian sink beneath the waves.

*She growled quietly against the fabric of the cloth as she watched the stranger pass out pushing herself up wards closer to wards the waters surface a bright blue hue surrounding her form in the water, the water causing it to seem brighter than normal, shimmering and moving in the water and the reflection on the surface, before finally breaking the surface, her now human head breaking the water while her hand moves to replace where her mouth was pulling the stranger up out of the water with her, taking a deep breath to try and ease the burning sensation in her lungs.*
*Her black hair covering her face slightly , clinging to her skin as her eyes open, tears from the salt water trickling don her cheeks as she wraps her arm firmly around the strangers waist keeping them both on the surface as much as possible.*
*Her breathing coming out in heavy pants as she scans the water and area looking for the other one and muttering to herself as her legs kick under the water keeping the pair afloat.*
Oh for the sake of the gods, where Has the other one gone now?
*She mutters to herself as she scans the land again trying to track him down. She turns around lifting one of the mans arms up and around the back of her neck as she begins to kick to wards land, her head moving from side to side to scan the area trying to keep her mouth out of the water at the same time as the land slowly became larger as they got closer.*

Kenji watched in astonishment as the limp body of his friend was hauled out of the water by a strange woman. Oh wait, the dragon lady, right...
He began his ineffective water treading again, and waved his arm in the air for a few seconds.
"Hey! Hey, over here!"
He began to sink, and quickly dropped his arm back into the water to help with the treading. He burst upwards again for another quick yell.
"Hey! Do you need any-" another brief dip beneath the surface- "help?"
By now his arms and legs were aching, his lungs scorched from the flurry of frantic activity, Regardless of the burning pain in his otherwise numb limbs, he paddled earnestly towards the woman.

Well at least you are not as heavy as Coriolis I suppose is a benefit.
*Watching the man slowly come closer as they get closer toland.*
Youust focus on getting yourself toland I can handle him, though I would suggest when you both have time that you learn how to swim.
*Her legs kicking hard under the water,while herlegs start to feel like they are burning from kicking so hard and for sol ong.*

"Hey, I can swim, just not very well."
Kenji didn't like the idea of leaving the stricken Jules, but the woman did indeed seem capable of carrying him. The pain in his legs told him to return to land, so he launched back into the water and ploughed towards terra firma as fast as his aching limbs could carry him.
He crawled up the shore through the shallow water, and stood up. His body seemed twice as heavy as it should be, so he flopped lazily onto the ground and closed his eyes. He lay spreadeagled on the ground, panting and gasping for air. But safe.
