There are three types of death:
PK - Player killing. One player killing another. TPK - Total Party kill. Person or persons killing a group of people. Character Suicide - either suicide or the owner of the character allowing an accidental death to occur.
If you plan on killing another character, please discuss it first with the owner of the character. If the other player agree, both of you must IM a rep and explain what is going to happen. It will then be made a rep-organised event. This means DO NOT open a thread and go ahead with the killing. The reps will moderate it.
TPK is not advised. Please don't do it unless it is along the lines of: *an explosion rips through the air, killing a group of innocent bystanders* If anyone tries to kill large groups of characters without rep permission they will be chucked off the board.
Character suicide - your choice really. Just don't drag anyone else in and make it plausible. Resurrections must be cleared with a rep.

this seems fair enough, my ideas on ressurection is it can only happen if the victim was not decapitated (removed head) or cut in half.

Good point, though if a character was popular amonst others for entertainment value etc, I may allow one suddenly bizarre rescurrecting of a person with no head. Probably not though. LOL.

a compromise may be to have a certain ritual with a rare spell ingredient required if and when the situation turns up. then the other people who want the PC back can go and retrieve it. it's not easy or simple that way and makes people think twice.

Good idea. I think that's one to go with if the situation arises. I hope not - I don't like arguing with headless characters over whether they can come back or not. I can't look them in the eye.
