*A certain young man walks into a forest. Unsure of where he is. Looking around he spots a small village nearby. He touches his blade thoughtfully, unsure what he should do*
[OOC: Hey everyone, joined here as a different user now. Have a guess at who I used to be? Oh Kully? Can you get rid of my last user once you've found out?]

Oooook...erm...could you please change your title for the topic to your name - I'd rather you did it off your own back than me having to change it for you. I'm guessing this is Motley since he was the only other person to make a character profile post without putting their name in the title. Am I right?

Anyway! I come from a place called the CHOCOBO! Aided, once, with magic I was able to fall my victims and rob their possessions. Every time I do this, I find myself growing stronger. But ever since I stumbled into this strange world so called ROLEPLAY, my confidence has left me. But inside I am determined to reach my goal and begin a new life here! [ModNote: Zidane appears in Traveller approaching.]

Lol Chocobo, are they not the chicken-like racing creatures from FF7? Still it's nice to see you rejoining us and I hope your new character remembers to keep to the rules!

Glenn - what did you do with your old character, Motley? It says in the rules you cannot just abandon your old character, and I will NOT delete a character just like that - he is in storylines!
I really am on the verge of being very cross. I'm still not sure you have read the rules, and your actions back this up.

I'm not going to abandon Motley... I just want to be someone else who can get into the action other than standing up on stage whilst getting vegetables hurled at him... And as it clearly says you can't have more than two accounts, so Zidane is my second...

Just a misunderstanding! No harm like... Just following the NO MORE THAN TWO CHARACTER RULE...
But still...
I just want a character to have fun in the Crazed Heffer and one that can get out and do something.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Abandoning Motley was not what I meant...

Oh Kully? Can you get rid of my last user once you've found out?] THIS IS ABANDONING A CHARACTER, MOTLEY. Do not contradict yourself. If I deleted your Motley character that would mean he disappears for no reason whatsoever - ABANDONMENT. Please read this thread: surrounds.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=1072033980The following quote within may be of interest. Since you are actually around, so it is VERY possible, would it hurt to make a small post explaining that Motley is going away on a trip, or something? Or has got a part time job and so won't be seen as often?

Come on Motley, you really should be more careful about following the rules and not contradict the reps.

And show a little respect for the mods too, Mots. Some people might think I'm a little out of order for saying this, but frankly you seem to have a disregard for rules across both here and KMBS. Mods and Reps are here to make sure you don't do things wrong and if you keep backchatting when people try and help you...well...to be frank, people are going to get very Papa'd Oscar with you. Remember, people who continually cause trouble are not welcome here.

It would be nice to have the rules on one page with contents on it. It saves time and effort.

That is what is there. It is one section with contents so you can see what is covered and where to find it. Either way you are supposed to have read them all, and everyone else seems to have managed.

Why shouldn't it take 'time and effort' to learn the rules? They are essential to the smooth running of the Forum, and the more effort and time spent reading them, the better. If I wasn't so busy enjoying myself with the storylines, maybe I would rearrange the rules into one document myself (I'm sure the same goes for the other members) - but I don't feel it's necessary. The rules are clear and fair to all those participating, and that's what matters.
I don't want to argue with you, Motley, as I know that you are witty and imaginative with plenty to offer the Forum - but do you see my point?

The fact is the rules are fine, no one else has had major problems with them and no one else has been as rude when reminded about them. If you seriously insist I will compile the rules into 1 document for all to see.
