Granted, though as with all wishes here something as gone awry and though you grow taller you also become skinner and be careful and remember to duck when going through door ways.
I wish for a scary move that is actually scary.

Granted, but then the Commision for not allowing anything interesting through bans it, and watching the films carries an automatic 20 life sentences I wish I could be on a deserted island

Granted, The plane you're flying off on holiday in crashes down and you are the only survivor... right then, Anyone got a Volleyball we can borrow for the next... *Checks watch* ... 2 years? Here's a challenge, I wish for icy roads... Absolutely LOVE driving when the cars a little slidey...

(Car, sliding, ice - reminds me of the pilot episode of a certain science fiction series...)
Granted. But your local roads are now so remarkably icy that ITV is using them for a new series, Dancing On Ice: Out And About. The roads are cordoned off, and your car is commandeered for use as a mobile botox outlet for the numerous D-list celebrities now descending on your neighbourhood.
The series is swiftly axed, but by that time the combined heat of the celebrities' egos has all but melted the ice. You might just have time for a quick... nope, sorry, a ned just slashed your tyres. ;D
I wish that October, November and December 1st-23rd could be 100% Christmas-free.

Granted, however, everybody somehow found out who made that wish and....well...enjoy people banging on your door saying "Bring back Santa" over and over again...
I wish the ol' "The hero always wins" rule didn't exist...I don't want some hero to defeat me just because he's the good guy. THE VILLANS DESERVE A BREAK AND SHOULD WIN!!!MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!!....Ahem, sorry. Lost my polite streak for a second and usually I don't succomb to evil laughter...

YAY someone after my own heart! Wish is granted though then once this starts to happen , the bad guys kill the good guys and slowly but surely all sense of good is gone and this evil is the daily norm and thus really no longer seen as evil as the balance is thrown badly out of order and the evil guys start turning on each other and it is only a length of time before your presence is turned to Sometimes I wish problems could be solved with a simple wave of the hand.

Granted. What's more, the degree of problem solving is proportional to the wave. Suddenly, crowds all over the world are participating in Mexican waves to wipe out problems. This leaves a lot of counsellors, negotiators, aid workers and talk show hosts struggling to find work. This level of unemployment is a major problem. And yet it was caused by waving, which is supposed to solve problems. The universe cannot cope with this paradox, and self-destructs.
I wish the Titanic had never sunk.

*Granted, but it got lost instead, and now they always talk about how the unsinkable ship got lost instead I wish I had a haunted house

Granted, but you end up being the house's first victim.
I wish I didn't feel the urge to monologue like the average dumb villan.

Granted, but you now feel the urge to monologue like the average intelligent villain.
I wish someone would understand my feeling towards love and lust.

Granted. You get to know a woman who repeatedly assures you, via emails and text messages, that she 'like definately, definately' understands.
I wish that Britney Spears would get better (health-wise, as opposed to music-wise).

Granted. Except she doesn't get better music-wise.
I wish for world peace.

Granted. but the "world peace" is caused by a certain Aurak casting a spell that is the equal to a few dozen nuclear strikes...Hey, if everything is dead, isn't it peaceful?
I wish there wasn't some restriction for spell casters like Spells per day, Mana, Mp, Energy, etc.

Granted. But with no limits on spellcasting, you become addicted. Now you're in Spell Rehab; and the guards, who are sick of being bitten by hysterical witches, aren't at all friendly.
I wish cherries were bigger - so big that you could actually take a bite out of one.

Granted! Cherries are now as big as you are. However, the consequence is that you are now big, round, jaundiced and being hotly pursued by Phoenix Flames recently acquired ghosts! Don't go eating too many pills now! I wish I could keep the 'muse' at the same time other characters do...
