*Midnight's tone of voice also changes It becoming some what harder.*
I know the battle won't be easy and that the stakes are indeed high...though who are they higher for??
Now a time and place...I suggest tomorrow in the Marketplace. Unless of course you don't want this challenge made public...though with Wolfenden I've learnt that most things become public sooner or later.
Are you happy with that??

Happy enough for now...
*He offers a hand to her. This time with no intention of malice or mischief...*
[His expression suddenly softening but his tone still harrased]
May I finally ask if we return to our requisite beds? It has become so late that it is now considered early... I don't know about you but sleep has become a rarely practiced hobby for me...

*Midnight shakes Janis's hand.*
Indeed bed is needed.
*Thinks.* Though wether sleep will come to me is another matter.
Don't forget your Dirk.
*While Janis get's his Dirk from the tree Midnight picks up the bed cover and runs up the wall to the window which she was quicky vacated from. She quickly checks on Mog who is fine and still sleeping.*
*A quiet mutter of lucky so and so escapes Midnight's mouth as she takes to her bed. Janis arrives seconds later and with brief goodnights the two go quiet and try to go to sleep.*
*For a while Midnight just stares at the ceiling trying to get to sleep but her mind is hectic and on overtime. Soon she starts to toss and turn a few hours pass before sleep brings a welcome release..even if it is only darkness that awaits her.*

*across the room, a similar story is unfurling... The Watcher has finally returned to his bed but Sleep is also becoming difficult despite fatigues good intentions...* [Thinking] Damn that girl and her flightiness! Has she never stopped to consider her actions before she commits? If I lose this 'Duel' I lose her and Mog.... but to win I will need to practically kill her! *He's lost her once to the Darkness... He cannot afford to lose her again. He would have failed in his promise to her mother, Diana* *Though neither Watcher knows it, their parting of the ways would hold much deeper reprecussions... [OOC: Continued in Wolfenden Market Place - "The Watchers Challenge"]
